I'm looking for switches more in tune with my tastes to replace the Choc Reds in a board I'm fixing up and modding and had a chuckle to myself when I realised Navies are my favourite of both the Chocs and the BOX series. Man, when it comes to satisfyingly meaty clicky switches, no other modern manufacturer comes close to Kailh. Gonna be the highest form-factor-to-housemate-irritation ratio I've achieved in a keyboard yet, thanks for the comparison!
Thanks a lot for this video! I want to buy a split mechanical keyboard as quiet as possible, low profile, short travel distance, with a similar feeling to a laptop keyboard. Noise is my main fear with mechanical keyboards. Since you seem to have a lot of experience, could you please guide me choosing the right switches?? Thank you!!
Same! I want a solid amount of tactility with minimal pretravel but without an obscene amount of noise. There don't seem to be many mechanical switches that cater to that.
@@masterofallarts Later the day I anwered you I knew I screw up in a way that it wasn't a microdox (although very similiar). But only a minute earlier I found what is this mysterious "five split". It is "5plit" keyboard!
