You know what's more interesting? In Indonesia when Exhuma on our cinema, there are like LOTS of local horor movie. But Exhuma bring new and refreshing horor for us, hence why the other local horor movie just goes by like that. Exhuma can get 2M ticket sold and can beat other horor movie at the same time. Also there is Ghostbuster Frozen Empire right? At first I want to watch that but after lots of testimonies, I convince to watch Exhuma instead because I heard that it included history. I AM SOLD. Horror, mystery, history are my things so props to director Jang Jaehyun to give all of that for me in one movie

The fact that he successfully captured those mixed emotions he felt back when he was a child, is a proof that he is a good story teller. I really had a surge of different emotions during the entire movie, but most especially during the first digging with the ritual. I'm a Filipino so I know a bit about japanese occupations, feng shui, and shamanism which really makes the movie more terrifying for me.

I am not gonna lie. At first, I didnt fully grasp the real story line. So i am not as amazed as i thought i would be after watching the film. I got confused and was like "why there is a japanese?" "Why is this like that?" "Why they did that as koreans?". All these questions honestly make me a bit confused to understand the whole story. BUT! After thorough readings, and reviews for this film, OMG! I wanna watch it again again and again. Kudos to everyone involved! I really amazed by how Koreans filmmaker almost always include their culture and history. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

    Hello im indonesian
This movie is very popular in my country because they have a similar history of colonization by Japan.
When I was little I heard similar things from people that in our country we also had Japanese pegs. During the Japanese colonial era, many rumors circulated. To be honest, at that time I didn't know what it was, after seeing this film, that's what it looked like..
After this film was released, several metaphysicists confirmed this that there is indeed something similar in our country.

This interview is a must watch for those who didn’t resonate with the movie, the ending in particular. How we feel after watching is just as important if not more. Koreans have been living a life where destination is more important rather than the journey, and this has taken a toll on our collective soul. Fact that this movie has connected with so many is a testament of our need to reevaluate what’s truly important.

I found the movie eerie. The plot was good, though it wasn't as mind-blowing as I expected after hearing all the rave reviews. It felt simple in some ways, but I suppose that was the intention. The second coffin being there was kind of predictable but the Japanese history part was a nice touch for those aware of the reference. The Shaman scenes were particularly unsettling, and the actors did an excellent job portraying them. However, again as an avid Korean content watcher, I wasn't surprised by that since Korean dramas and movies are known for their strong performances. But if I am being honest, I didn't find the film to be out-of-this-world like some have described.

You took it personally to one of the versatile actress, if you don't like why did you react? And why bother to see videos about the movie? You're pretty sour graping. Don't bother to see/ watch it in theaters or in internet/ yuotube, envious so to speak because your idol is not part of this super hits movie in korea.
