Great cars restored two of these myself and rebuild another 5 that I now no longer own I have the ford cosworth and the Subaru . Many shells still available on Buyee in Japan they can be upgraded quite well 😊

Good info where to get the shells, what upgrades did you find the most effective?

Nice car, I have two. One stock and the other modified. Never broken a body post. Two things that irritated me was the spur gear was prone to stone damage and the car traction rolls. There is a 2 speed available, which makes this car very entertaining and a soft Rx cover.

I will try to check if the steel spur gear from an inferno fits and the roll bars

Thats cl9se to a vendetta. I'll have to measure the width of my detta when I get home but if its pretty close could use those.

I think my Redcat will smoke it, and it's way less expensive.

It probably would, the redcat has a much newer generation more powerfull engine vs these old kyosho - kyosho led the way - redcat copied

@@ravinitro My first RC Cars were Kyosho, back in the '80's, I had a Kyosho Sports Buggy I bought from Tower Hobbies. It was a lot of fun , did great wheelies!
