  • Here, we fit a Touring Seat to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, which should be more comfortable on a longer ride. I'm not a fan of the sissy bar so we do not refit it, althought you can refit it if you prefer. In a later short video, we'll show how we can fit a grab handle instead.

What size bolts did you use to put the pillion seat back on? I really want to get rid of the backrest it looks so good without it, love everything else about my meteor!!

Hi Jack. They are 8mm thread but the rear ones need to be short or they will hit the mudguard. I'm afraid I don't have exact lengths for you.

Ah...And the rear bolts are just for show. They're not needed.

Did you drill it first. Mine won't work by hand

@@MotorcycleFettlers thanks i have some doubt is there any heating issue in this bike and any vibration in mirrors during high speed

@@sunnyvlogs6667 heating not an issue, and the mirrors depend. My LHS one is completely fine at 60+ mph, but not at 50mph, my RHS one is fine at 50mph but vibrates at 60+. You can put dampers on them, but it is an inherent disadvantage of single cilinders

So impressed with my Himalayan, I bought an additional Meteor. Engine does not produce excessive heat, very smooth and responsive. No vibe problems. All round it's a lovely machine, ENJOY !!

@@TheBezaleel thanks for the comment. We’ve got a friend who may get a Himalayan so maybe he’ll let us get it on the channel

I do, think it adds to the look of my meteor, oh yeah and you don't need to take all four bolts off as the front ones will allow you to tip the pillion up towards the back and get to the front seat bolts, cos that's exactly how I did it 😁

Same here, I do not like the backrest. It takes away the look and shape of the bike.
