Would really rather hear about the specs on the greenhouse rather than some crappy unlicensed background music

I'm guess this is a $750k greenhouse growing a $20k crop and $2k of electricity. They say each panel produces just 30 watts per square meter. The payback period is likely "infinity" when cost of capital is considered. It's really nifty tech though. Hopefully prices will come down.

My thoughts exactly, a super cheap version growing vertical high tech agriculture might make economic sense.

Do you have a distributor in USA? I am starting a 50x100 feet glass greenhouse project in Dallas Texas area

It seems to be 1/6 the efficiency for 10x the cost of standard PV pr m2.
So if you have a greenhouse with 40m2 facing the sun, you can buy this for 16k USD, or a groundmounted PV (4-5 panels) for around 300 USD. Even if you don't have to pay for regular glass (let's say 3-4k USD), there is quite a difference.

@@tzenophile quite right. It must make sense economically to compete. With some exceptions perhaps, at this stage it remains a great idea yet cost prohibitive. Costs vs energy production equates to an expensive option. More at a proof of concept in real market terms for now. It's quoted to produce 30 watts per m2, well shy of current pv performance, abundant and cheap by comparison.

This is absolutely amazing - I studied a Bachelor of Hort. Science thirty years ago and controlled growing environments were dinosaurs by comparison. This tech is absolutely disruptive !!!!

I am 20 seconds in - and I just want to close the window - who told you that a banging electro track is the perfect way to sell your product. - Its so annoying - is your audience mostly 15 year old boys?
