@@toolmanick thanks for that comment. Extremely well written song. It's always shitty when other bands are credited for original eventhough it's also a cover.. That being said, Aaron F"cking Crushes this cover! One of those rare instances where the cover blows away the original.
Oh yeah, Jeffrey Steele originally wrote this song for his father after he died, why I love music, we can insert ourselves into any good song and make it work. #DIESEL&KICKZ 🚛 #RHEC
Here a crazy story,Aaron Lewis came to my home town a couple years back in a small theater, for autistic concert. just him and his guitar.....and some lame people in the crowd were talking over him being hella rude. It was just unbelievable disrespect....il never forget that. Aaron got up said if u don't shut up in gona leave ..the rude people got all kinds of shit thrown at them and they finally shut up.
The same thing happened when I saw him. Although, I didn't wait for Aaron to say anything, I told a group of kids that if they don't stop talking I will be going to jail goes I was going to loose it. I paid an arm and a leg for tickets and their are few artist now that can truly perform like this anymore.
I heard Aaron say he never even thought about doing a cover of this song until her heard it live by the man who wrote it. Then he really wanted to cover it
It's kind of weird to say this but I think I'm a Filipino country boy. I just love listening to Aaron Lewis and his band Staind. But this makes my eyebrows wiggle 😂👌🎶
Yep, he's great as a country artist but you gotta check him out with Staind back in the day. They had a few greats but I'm with one of your other commenters, you should check out "Mudshovel" by Staind, Lead singer Aaron Lewis. Maybe also, "Eyes Wide Open."
Should do rascal flats - what hurts the most, in my opinion that should have been done first because this is originally their song but that's just my Opinion I like Aaron Lewis also he was the lead singer for one of my favorite rock bands in the 90's early 2000
Jeffrey Steele wrote this song, Mark Wills originally sung it, the boy band Rascal Flatts made it famous, example of another song, God's Country, written by and sung by Hardy, Blake Shelton made is famous
The man playing the steel guitar is actually the one that wrote the song. Rascal flats was just the first to sing it. This version has so much more feeling to it
Love your energy man!
Aaron Lewis's version makes you forgot who even sang this on the radio.
This is how to sing this song. Really liked this version. Had more feeling than the original.
Same here bro..
Jeffrey Steele wrote it after his son died at an early age. Aaron does it justice with the pain behind his voice.🤘

It's amazing how a man with a wife and amazing family can express the feeling of those of us who have lost EVERYTHING
Keep making people smile!
Doing a meet and greet with this amazing artist next week so pumped. Front row seats
Aaron is a beast bro

Dude, you're adorable. Who cares if you can't sing? ✌🏻
I don't know that I''d let him back in, but I'd "accidentally" leave the door unlocked.... and possibly be "sleepin nekkid". *WINK WINK*
Oh lord hes going to be a happy camper...
Dude your laugh is legendary. Love the reaction and you have a new subscriber
I dig your reactions. Keep it up. If you like Aaron Lewis, you gotta do "Lost and Lonely" and "Stuck in These Shoes" they're amazing.

Ah, I didn't know that . Gonna have to look those up I love both of those songs. Thanks for the info
Anything Aaron sings is a panty dropping song.
You should check out Teddy Swims - I Can't Make you love me. dude can sang.

Ben kinterman is playing the steel guitar. the song was written by Jeffery Steele after his son died.
The man playing the steel guitar was Aaron's bus driver. Aaron heard him playing in the hotel lobby and the rest is history.
I prefer the version by State Of Mine.
They did do that song some justice.. state of mine is pretty dope.
Come back fool
