  • I visited Xpress Screen in Winston Salem North Carolina to show you this Technology that can create screens for screen printing without the need to coating a screen, burn a screen, wash a screen. This eliminates the need for an exposure unit, Wash out booth emultion, Screen reclaiming solution and havint to buy new screens. This I the tool that will enable the average person to screen print in their home. All you need is this machine and a computer and a printing press. Check it out and let me know what you think in the comments below. If you decide to contact them for more information make sure you tell them I sent you.

    As someone with a full setup of exposure unit, dry vault, washout booth etc this is definitely interesting... Love the detail in the print. Would love to see a multi color job.
    I know a rip isn't necessary but how do you print multi color without it? I'm guessing with this one can up the dpi for more details if using a rip

    • @urjnlegend
      @urjnlegend 2 года назад

      and make these screens reclaimable

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  2 года назад +6

      Reclaiming a screen would defeat the purpose in this instance. That’s part of what makes this so great. Reclaiming a screen is to time consuming and doesn’t make you any money. You can just cut it out and stretch anything one. Takes you 5 mins tops. Screen printers spend like an hour to reclaim a screen. Gotta soak it in chemicals leave it sit then come back and wash it out. Entirely to long. These sections of mesh average out to about $6 each. You can print about 900 shirts with them. Reclaiming would be a waste of time.

    • @unfltrdpassion
      @unfltrdpassion 11 месяцев назад

      Also probably the investment.... Many of us have poured alot into our current setup expo unit, washout, dry vault, racks, screens, dry vault, and then chemicals like ink removers, dehazers, rip software...
      With that said I think the price is the QS2536 is fair and would love to live with it for a few month but I imagine it's kinda hard to justify giving up your current setup if you've been printing for years. Price is fair but expensive to test if you already have a setup.
      Also, one point of failure may be a consideration. In the traditional process we can swap out, update, fix issues and keep printing with this if it goes out you're out of luck.
      I think if they put these in shops for a month or 6 they will catch on

      Honestly wish I knew about this 2 years ago when I was looking for warehouse space and before I needed a plumber to setup a waterline and upgraded my washout booth, purchased a filtration system, etc. I deinitely would have ordered and saved on space. This can definitely be a game changer. Definitely want to get my hands on one. Even in a traditional shop this could help turn around jobs much faster@@adubbproductions

  • @lovemode9862
    @lovemode9862 2 года назад +1

    I don’t think traditional way is less efficient especially when doing multiple screens. This GoCoPro has multiple steps also and when you compare the math it might not be that big of a different time wise. But it is a cleaner way 👍

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  2 года назад +3

      It’s a huge difference in time wise and save away more money. Setting up a 4 color job would Tahoe hours the traditional way considering you have to coat each screen, wait for them to dry, burn each screen then expose them, then wash them out.l, then dry them. Time wise the traditional way can not compete.
      You would be done the job using this method while the traditional way you’d most likely be exposing your first screen and that’s being generous. Those screens have to dry after you put emulation on them. That takes hours. Most screen printers leave them to dry over night. There is no comparison. A good exposure unit is the price of the QS200. (Ok that’s a stretch but you need far less equipment) Then you gotta buy a wash out booth, and chemicals and have the space for all that big equipment. I’ve been researching this for years. There is not comparison money wise or time wise. This method is faster and saves more money.

      You can clean out the screen so you can use the same screen to make the same design yes. But if you want a new design you just stretch another screen. You can stretch a screen in 5 minutes max. It super easy.

    What is the advantage of screen printing over other types?

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  2 года назад +3

      The main advantage is it is the most time efficient way to produce mass quantities of the same design.
      It is also proven to hold up the longest out of all the others besides dye sublimation.
      It is also the least expensive way to print large quantities of the same design of all the other methods after you’ve made the initial purchase of all the equipment needed.

      I look at it as a great opportunity because most people will not invest in themselves or the tools they need to make their businesses more efficient and profitable but will spend thier entire life working for someone else that did take a chance and spend the money on their business. Considering how easy all these garment decorating technologies are to use and the opportunities they give the expense in minuet. !0k, 20k, 30k, 40k for a business is a no brainer for me. You get what you pay for when starting a business and your returns will reflect what you put in. Thats the way I see it. But hey, you could just go buy a nice new car and get nothing out or it but more bills. Thats what people do right?

  • @StarChild.no1
    @StarChild.no1 Год назад

    The mesh technology is unorthodox and you’re basically isolated from community support f the entire print world, discussions and trouble shooting your print production as it pertains to various mesh/ink/blade issues in the screen printing process that everyone faces.. The only one that benefits from this “innovative discovery”, are the hustlers selling it. They obviously don’t give a rats ass about the realities of the printer, offering a mesh technology that is 0.00000% of the screen printing industry..

    • @Xpresscreen
      @Xpresscreen Год назад +2

      Actually 2.25% and growing. We have went up on more auto presses in the last 18 months than we have in the past 18 years. And we do care about the industry and the technology, that is why we set up initial education and ongoing education with the Riso equipment. We allow easy access for the community of Riso users to communicate with other Riso users to have a great experience. And we are currently working on setting up a National Training Service backed by Riso of Tokyo to further education in dry film education. What we have found is that the screen printing culture is entrenched steeply in tradition and very reluctant to any change. We find it ironic that most of our vocal opponents are those who have never printed a job using the system and have anecdotal stories on why it won't work. It seems some let fear and tradition guide them into the future... our customers don't work out of either fear or tradition.
