Here are some tips if you guys are getting really frustrated in biome 3. - Buff your character in Biome 1. Go to Biome 2 and buff up until you hit the first teleportation device (after the new update) which will take you to the end of Biome 2 to the Biome 3 teleporter. (this saves time and you won't lose too much health or die by this point). - save all your ether till biome 3 lol - Use the Electropylon Driver (buff the hell out of it before Biome 3) - When traversing B3, take your time. take in the layout and look for hiding spots. shoot the strong enemies with EPD and then hide. EPD buffed will be taking them out while you stay safe. - Try to get the 5% health regeneration adrenaline upgrade. It will save your life. - Stock up on health kits as much as possible. Use ether on the re-generator. And always purchase the Mr. Astronaut. Try not to use it till the end boss. End boss isn't that bad though. - For the Kamikaze Homing Missile Cyclops drones that are f-in annoying. The trick to them is when you get their areas walk slowly. One buzz noise means 2 of them are about to pop out. When you hear that noise start backing up and point that EPD in the air and just start shooting and keep running back. The main thing with them is that they need to be in your sight to do the kamikaze kill so try to stay out their sight. - Tip: once you unlock the bridge in biome 3, if you die and come back the bridge will still be open so you don't have to go through the entire level again when you come back. - There is going to be one more crazy room with a bunch of enemies before the last boss. just EDP them and then grapple hook around that room in circles while they chase. So grapple hook, aim and fire, then grapple hook, repeat.

No, a reconstructor can only be used once in each biome. So if you use one in Biome 1, then move on to Biome 2, you'll need to find the reconstructor in Biome 2 and spend another 6 ether to activate it. If you activate a reconstructor, you only get to use it once. It's not an infinite respawn mechanic. Think of it like an extra life.

Yes. A portal will appear at the base of the mountain in biome 2 that brings you to the top. So you just have to cross the desert, instead of taking the long way up the mountain.
One question, I died on this biome many fucking times, and still can't get to boss. That's drone are overpowered. I always cleaning first biome before go to three, maybe I need clear 2 biomes to make myself more powerful? Any advice?
I mention it in the beginning of the video, but yes, you absolutely should clear out both biomes before going into this one. You don't have to kill the bosses, unless you really want to, but you should be getting all the upgrades out of Overgrown Ruins and Crimson Wastes before going into Derelict Citadel. The difficulty spike in this stage is insane.
I usually go thru just the first biome then checkpoint back to the citadels entrance and go there. If I do the second biome before the citadel as well , how can I get back to the citadel ? Will I have to beat boss number 2 again ?
@@MozzzyBit3 tell me about it ugh. Especially that big giant human shaped one. I was finally handling the flying ones and that orb that spits out millions of attacks at once, but then that big jerk comes out of nowhere and just will destroy whatever lead I had.
I recommend clearing out biomes 1 and 2 (you don't need to kill the bosses) before heading into this biome. The upgrades for health and proficiency will give you much needed breathing room against certain enemies. Killing them faster not only allows you to get through the level faster, but also means that you don't have to deal with their mess for long periods of time. For the orb and big sentinel enemies, try to put as much distance between you as possible. Gives you more time to dodge their attacks, as well as see them coming. The sentinel can jump really fast, so the only way to deal with that is to react quickly, I'm afraid.
Wish I would be as good at the game as this guy 😅. I arrived near the boss for the first time yesterday and then died shortly after (already used astronaut). Then it respawned me back in biome 1 after I spent 2 hours going through biome 1 and 2 and dying in biome 3 shortly after lowering the bridgeI. 'm slowly getting tired of this game. I'm a casual gamer with little time for gaming and I always play games on easy or story mode, rarely on normal. I was pretty proud of myself when I defeated Phrike on second try and Ixion on first try but biome 3 is kicking my ass.
@@SweetJohnnyCage Your absolutely right! Getting a great damage roll on any gun can be amazing. I finished the game with a lvl 21 gun that had 11 in damage. Absolutely melted everything. All the lvl 30 guns I found didn’t even roll that high.
The only 2 tips I have are to use a weapon that staggers enemies and to use walls to block the rockets. They are the most frustrating enemies in the game.

This has to be the most annoying game I’ve played. I went into Biome 3 with an astronaut, 200 integrity and a reconstructor to then get pummelled in the “challenge room” before you get to the boss and ended up using all my resources to then respawn in the reconstructor and die to the boss half way through the 2nd phase. The boss itself isn’t too bad. It’s getting to the boss that’s frustrating. At least lowering the bridge is a permanent unlock.
You need to look for an area in Biome 1 that has a broken bridge with grapple points. The door leading into that area will have a special symbol on top on the map.
I always recommend doing a full run through biomes 1 and 2 before attempting 3. You need all the health upgrades you can get, as the damage output of enemies in biome 3 is incredibly high.

Yes. A portal will appear at the base of the mountain in biome 2 that brings you to the top. So you just have to cross the desert, instead of taking the long way up the mountain.
Same question, I beat the second boss but never actually entered biome 3, will the portal still appear at the base of the mtn?
I did it first time with thermogenic launcher, the weapon is a true champ
Epic game!
I noticed that biome 1 had optional rooms pop up that became rather difficult… usually hidden behind a key… are they worth it before going to biome 3?
Each biome has one of those and they're always worth doing!
@@SweetJohnnyCage thanks
I can’t get past this biome to save my life
Same, those drones are so frustating
I usually go thru just the first biome then checkpoint back to the citadels entrance and go there. If I do the second biome before the citadel as well , how can I get back to the citadel ? Will I have to beat boss number 2 again ?
@@MozzzyBit3 tell me about it ugh. Especially that big giant human shaped one. I was finally handling the flying ones and that orb that spits out millions of attacks at once, but then that big jerk comes out of nowhere and just will destroy whatever lead I had.
Also my tech upgrade only brings me to 9 not 10 when I start the citadel
I recommend clearing out biomes 1 and 2 (you don't need to kill the bosses) before heading into this biome. The upgrades for health and proficiency will give you much needed breathing room against certain enemies. Killing them faster not only allows you to get through the level faster, but also means that you don't have to deal with their mess for long periods of time. For the orb and big sentinel enemies, try to put as much distance between you as possible. Gives you more time to dodge their attacks, as well as see them coming. The sentinel can jump really fast, so the only way to deal with that is to react quickly, I'm afraid.
after biome 3 and kill the boss... there is a "save" place right? That said if I die in Biome 4 I can start in there and not in biome 1 right?!
after biome 3 you will always return to biome 4 (which is technically biome 1 during the day); so basically act 2 resets.
Great walkthrough, at 48mins you leave the shield pickup, wouldn’t it be better to pick up the shield equip it then pick up your other consumable
That's pretty smart! I didn't think of that haha.
I’m on this boss right now do you get a quick teleport to him it was hell getting to him
Kind of. The bridge that you activate stays activated. Still have to go through a decent amount of the level.
@@SweetJohnnyCage damn that’s sucks I died the first time my that was my first play through of the level and I had no health
How did you manage to expand your life bar so much, I farm biom 1 and 2 very thoroughly and can only expand my life bar a little bit
Sometimes I just get lucky with the siliphum pickups. The green beds also expand your total life.
Is there a way to get to biom 2 after finishing it?
I'm afraid not. You can't go backwards.
Im trying to speed run the game. Maybe after 100 runs I'll get ot right
Wish I would be as good at the game as this guy 😅.
Not sure if it’s because I bought the deluxe edition but the green poop gun melts the enemies in this biome.
Nah, all guns are viable!
@@SweetJohnnyCage Your absolutely right! Getting a great damage roll on any gun can be amazing. I finished the game with a lvl 21 gun that had 11 in damage. Absolutely melted everything. All the lvl 30 guns I found didn’t even roll that high.
I can't pass this biome, haven't got the boss yet... these flying enemies that shoot rockets... they just destroy me everytime. Any tips?
The only 2 tips I have are to use a weapon that staggers enemies and to use walls to block the rockets. They are the most frustrating enemies in the game.
@SweetJohnnyCage thank you! I m at the latest biome! Biome 4 and 5 were much easier that expected. ( or I become better) but the last one I m stuck, watching your video now:) but I want to avoid spoiler. So might not finish it yet. Thanks again for all these walkthrough!
At least lowering the bridge is a permanent unlock.
you should have been gearing up for the boss run not an optional challenge room
How does he have damage siphon activated for most of the video despite taking a bunch of hits?
I think it's from a parasite or something.
how come your life increase while hitting and receiving hits ??@ 35:02 ???
It's an augmen tor a parasite that's giving me leech.
Im at this part now. Let’s pray😂😂
I did it😤😤😤
Congrats on reaching the one checkpoint of the game!
Do you have some tips ? I can’t get past this one at all
Lol. No lie. This level was a game changer.😅. Upgrade before you get here.
How in the fuck did you make it through Biome's 1 and 2 without dying, let alone having full health?
4:50 sus enemy's 😅
Hi please help me where i can found the secret area anyone no please help me
What secret area?
made it 3rd biome, don't like 4th much harder.
I can’t find the fucking 15 xenoglyhp in this stage any idea where it is?what a dumb game gesus.
fuck! i need that launcher
This biome is sucking the life out of me
It was my biggest hurdle as well. I'd have excellent runs die to the drones within a few seconds.
@@SweetJohnnyCage Finally completed it and downed the boss, in large part thanks to your guide. Thank you
Biome 3 sucks 😅
You cant get to the 2nd Biome after you beat the 2nd boss
That's correct.
Yes you can
@@itsanditimevarietyshow you cant... The portal goes to the latest Biome you cant choose
@@dje.z.e9091 what portal? The first biome?
@@imSLO- yes... If you reach Biome 3 and you die there you cant go back to Biome 2... The portal take you straight to Biome 3 from Biome 1
How can i get from biome 1 to biome 3 directly please reply
You need to look for an area in Biome 1 that has a broken bridge with grapple points. The door leading into that area will have a special symbol on top on the map.
@@SweetJohnnyCage i already know this .... any other method ?
Nope.
@@SweetJohnnyCage i think going through biome 2 is better coz u get 2 silphium vials ... do u agree
I always recommend doing a full run through biomes 1 and 2 before attempting 3. You need all the health upgrades you can get, as the damage output of enemies in biome 3 is incredibly high.
