Yamamoto‘a death disturbed the fuck out of me. Not because of how he died, but why he died. He revealed so many powers, gave such cold speeches, enveloped Yhwach in fear.
Then turns out the real Yhwach was elsewhere and Yamamoto gets diced by him. Lol

I didn’t read the manga, but the anime implied that he never had hope for this fight, he just still gave it all he could but he still didn’t think things through, he just thought he would die no matter what so he rushed in and showed off all he had left.
Yamamotos whole character was that he wad dumb as shit because he never had to think during a fight.
He was constantly stated as wielding the most destructive force in bleach, but he was never much of a challenge to the top dogs because his battle iq is on the level of infant kenpachi.
Only reason why Quilge died was because if Kubo didn't find a way to kill him Ichigo would've been fighting Quilge for 50+ episodes just like Goku vs Frieza on Namek

Ichigo is far superior to quilge and ichigo free from jail because he is also quincy and quilge's jail can't be used on capturing quincies.
@@Bankai098far superior my ass, he can't even get near to killing Quilge. If not for Urahara and Grimmjow Sneak Attacks Quilge would have stalled Fullbring Bankai Ichigo without using Jail.
This is the moment that really shows that Soul Society was really underprepared for a full scale war with any competent faction.
When only 26 out of 6,000 of you are worth anything and only 2 (maybe 3) out those 26 are worth anything without Bankai… that’s really bad.
Also this should show the importance of having a diverse set of captains. Have some that specialize in sealing, some that specialize in healing, some that specialize in energy beams, and some that just use physical attacks. Everyone was dependent on their Bankai and defenseless without it. That's why they all go folded.

@@mauricehopes9105I honestly think this is the real reason Zaraki was considered a special threat, because he was one of the strongest captains without even being able to use shikai, making him the only known captain that would be unaffected by the ability to steal bankai(since they tried to steal Ichigo’s, I can only assume they didn’t realize Vizard were immune).

That was Sonido. Hence why his spiritual pressure disappeared.
Sonido is a primal ability geared on by raw emotion. Being that ichigo was beyond angry, his hollow powers seeped in, hence using Sonido over Shunpo.
43:12 The sound effect was actually a sonido. Which makes sense considering sonido's ability to slip past sensory abilities and the quincies' reaction

@@Metalhammer1993 how is it a change? He did exactly the same thing in the manga. That's why we get the panels of the Sternritters losing track of his Spiritual Pressure because that's the only you can make it clear in the manga that he used Sonido since that's a characteristic that sets it apart from Shunpo.
@@kellyjohnson4768 they didn't lose track of him. Sonido simply can't be sensed no matter how fast it is. Meaning even if somebody's sonido was so slow you could trace it with the naked eye, their reiatsu is gone during that time.
So Ichigo just being that fucking fast everybody lost track of him makes it much more impressive.
But given how the power scale explodes later in the arc I assume it makes sense they changed it to sonido. Because that feat was ridiculous in retrospect.
@@Metalhammer1993 lol bro they definitely lost track of him hence Mask's comment of his Spiritual Pressure disappearing. Sonido leaves no reiatsu traces upon usage unlike Shunpo and Hirenkyaku. It makes even more sense too considering Ichigo was full of despair and thus running on instinct which enabled the use of Sonido and his earlier Pesquisa

Even though yes, I know the quincy were stealing bankai....but I cant help but Kubo missed a huge opportunity with the Visard Captains and Lieutenants could really gave them a push back utilizing their masks. If not the captains AT LEAST the Lieutenants like Mashiro.
Yeah, you would think that they would have faired much better than regular shinigami but I also understand why he felt like he needed to show Quincy dominance in the first half though.

Yeah TYBW sucked because of this in the manga as well. All that talk about how mixing Shinigami and hollow powers is stronger than just being one or the other when Tousen turns bug eyed.. For the vizards to always be useless and never actually be allowed to shine even against opponents that get countered by hollow powers.

I think the only reason only Quilge was the only one using Quincy techniques is because it's in his character he is patriotic
and follows the Quincy way through and through
The rest of the sternwriters though have their own character traits and personalitys even being symbolized by they're respective Shrifts like how Asnodt is afraid himself but only uses his fear shrift to compensate

Shinji is such a huge wasted asset.
His shikai emits a substance into the air, a substance that when inhaled, reverses every aspect of a person's perception, left and right, up and down, forward and back, and even which direction your being attacked from.
Now... am I the only one who thinks he should just have all his allies use gas masks or whatever made to filter out his shikai ability while he effects everyone else on the battlefield? I feel like that should be the protocol for massive invasion scenarios like this. Just handicap the fuck out of everyone (except the Hims of course) and let your teammates clean up before they can adapt.
Crazier thing is Shinji can use who or what is affected with his shikai lmao he can mark people safe with no effort at all

That bankai stealing plot could easily be avoided if the Gotei 13:
1- Started from the moment Sasakibe was dead to develop ways of fighting without bankai.
2- Waited the get go from Mayuri or Kisuke.
3- Used someone with a bad Bankai as bait (Soifon, Konohamura, Renji or Kensei) and used Tenteikura to spread the word that the Quincy actually steal bankais.
4- Used Kidou in combination of their Shikai with the lieutenant's as backup.
5- Learned from the ways their unseated officers died.
I usually hate this style of videos. They put the jokes in front of the content. This man is not only giving jokes but translating attacks and making it a perfect balance. Amazing

Edit: @38:00 It rains because the massive heat evaporated all the moisture from the Soul Society and caused it collect in the atmosphere. The heat suddenly dissipating basically removed the floor holding the moisture up and it just pool together, gets too heavy, and then falls to earth as raindrops. Watch the fight between Sasuke and Itachi for another anime example of this :)

Qilge is literally too OP
They washed and I mean washed the Soul Society. There is no excuse. Yamamoto fought against them 1000 years before Bleach. There should have been contigencies to combat the Quincy and their ability to even steal Bankai. The Bankai stealing ability was around seeing that Yhwach told Yamamoto that "its not that he couldn't steal his bankai back then." This means the ability was usuable back then. The Soul Reapers should have been ready.
That bankai stealing quote was referring to Royd and not to 1000 years ago. 1000 years ago, the technology to steal bankai wasnt invented yet. The Quincy had 100+ years to prepare for the invasion, while also having data on most soul reapers and their abilities, while the soul reapers didnt know any of their enemies unique abilities.
Also, as far as the soul reapers were concerned, they already exterminated the Quincy, Mayuri however did predict this would happen when Uryu ishida first appeared, but Yamamoto wouldnt listen to his warnings. And even if they were prepared for the possibility of Quincy invading with all the info on the Quincy they had, it wouldn’t have changed the outcome at all.

This fight was handicapped technically the captain Commander really won but due to plot twist he had to be killed

Gerard would just go Vollstandig and will tank Bankai Yamamoto until Gerard becomes powerful enough to destroy the senile old man.
Jugram would just go Vollstandig and render anything Yamamoto will do useless with Balance.
Gremmy will just put Yamamoto inside the Vacuum of Outer space and with his Senile old body will definitely be more damaged than Zaraki, or he will just imagine that Yamamoto's flames doesn't exist anymore.
Ishida's Antithesis will make short work of Yamamoto unless Yamamoto goes for an instant kill (which is nearly impossible most of the time).
