Glad you found the bucket! Hands down, hes one of the most humble and hard working players ever...really is a shame that so many people think hes "just another shredder"... their loss
There's another guy you might want to check out. His name is Tosin Abasi. He is in a band called Animals As Leaders. He plays an 8 string guitar. If you like Buckethead, then you will no doubt like Abasi too. I recommend you check out the live version of "Physical Education" by Animals As Leaders.
I really appreciate his live stuff but much prefer the scope and quality of his studio stuff. I for one would love to see you react to studio versions of some of his more famous songs including Nottingham Lace, Eerie Canal, The Closed Triptych and Hold me Forever (this last song is half an hour long but most would say well worth it). There really are so many more songs ranging across so many styles; some less accessible due to more niche or experimental genres and some just downright weird but he is very popular for his mellow stuff eg Aunt Suzie, Pathless Road, Too Many Humans and Electric Tears.
Yes, Buckethead is incridible instrumental & experimental guitarist Talk about incridible guitarist, you should check out my top 3 guitarist: Guthrie Govan, Ron Bumblefoot Thal, and Mattias IA Eklundh
Last time I saw Buckethead live, he took a break and did nunchucks to Skrillex and the crowd went crazy. He really is one of a kind

The Bucket rules, period.
Pike65, seige engine, white wash, his old buckethead is awesome like in his back yard. And some of his banjo or acoustic stuff
He uses a line 6 FM4 pedal to get those laser sounds :)
