This is excellent! Thank you, Chris! I encountered only one issue - I couldn't get the map to zoom on the first Action Filter ... I eventually worked out that I'd set the 'map pin' to a static view & no amount of filters were going to change it! Totally my fault & not an issue with the quality of the tutorial! I only mention it here on the off-chance that someone else manages to do the same thing & can't work out why!
Hi Robert, I got the same issue as you did. But could not figure out how to get the map zoom in selecting action filter :-( Could you please explain a bit more in detail how to change that? Thanks.
Hi! Thanks for the video! I was just wondering if you could help me out with a difficulty I ran into similar to this one.... I was trying to do the same you did in this tutorial, but instead of selecting the regions with the mouse, I just wanted that the information changed when I zoom in or out... Could you help me with that?
Hi, Thanks for the video. I got another question for you!. Is there a way to get percent of total in sales trend like when you select California you should see total California sales divided by total US sales with same action filters applied. Thanks in advance....!
Hi!. Like this video! I am having issues to apply dashboard actions and filters on my viz... Also I have saw that when you clicked on Missisippi State, Top 4 cities were only showed (at 8:16), are there only 4 or is some sort of a Tableau glitch?
Hi, nice explaination, but how can we filter the value on the dashboard and it will take us to the detailed report to see the low level data for the same filter.
Thanks charlie I searched every where for the top 5 problem filter where I just had to click on add to context. Give my greetings to Nancy
Thank you, this really helped me out. Especially the Add To Context tip.
Thank you so much for this video!! It made action filter easier to understand.
