I know the sentiment that its less enjoyable to watch the game if the casters are just praising a single team. They are very prominent especially east vs west. If its east vs east, they pick a team that is either winning or their favorites. But we should not proceed on hating them but understand that they are also human having favorites. If there are games that have 2 different regions playing, they should pick 1 caster each region to balance the bias.
Normally this matchup is bare minimum a semi finals and usually a finals caliber matchup so yeah its def one of the best series we could get and im so glad we got it so early on...I'm hoping all of the series' onwards are as amazing as this one
Guma certainly did great this game and the Xayah pick was absolutely perfect against RNG's comp. But not enough people are talking about Keria's 5 man Renata ult at 43:18 that won them that fight. Forcing Fiora W, catching Sylas on tp completion, stalling RNG to the point that no one could follow up on the Nautilus R on Guma. It was what allowed Guma to just free hit the whole fight, the only damage he took was from Nautilus R
Kai'Sa could have followed up, but Faker stomped him so badly that he only dealt 800 damage for the entire teamfight. That's with a nearly fullbuild Kaisa...

That was freaking amazing. Although I stopped playing this game, that comeback was the most enjoyable and satisfying thing I have ever watched. One of my favourites hands down, giving me goosebumps. Gosh I would rewatch this over again. Iconic game, periodt!

Yeah but this is more so a symptom of recent Jayce “Balance” changes, also called make him the squishiest toplaner in the game and put all his power in the lategame/scaling. Like I get that Jayce can be toxic/oppressive if he is too strong early, but there is a difference between that and hitting Fiora with 5 autoattacks and a Q+E, and still getting outtraded with Q and W from Fiora. Jayce has shit base AD, HP and armor, way too easy to kill if you can get on top of him, so that means for Jayce that 1 mistake early means you won’t be a champion till you hit Eclipse+Muramana.

I feel like this reinforces his title, if anything. If you're forced to camp his lane, giving the opponents the opportunity to apply pressure on the other two lanes, and he's still keeping up in CS and does the second highest damage in teamfights, just stop trying.

I feel like T1's pivot is either Zeus or Guma. RNG knew this from game 1 and tried to camp Zeus as much as they can. But that dude did more damage than Breathe in teamfights.
SO to Faker on that elder fight. Dove onto the backline and popped Kais'a GA and killed Nautilus while the rest of T1 was on Sejuani. Wasn't really highlighted by the casters, but insane teamfighting from the goat.

After kill on Jayce min 21:30 they had two options: 1. Fiora could split with tp and dive the Jayce anytime or force him to give the tower. Jayce can not stay under Tower on his own against 4/0/3 20 Farm up Fiora there. So Fiora ends the game, if they don't send someone to help the Jayce (if they do, they lose Nash). 2. Group/pressure top as four, so Fiora just takes their base against 2k gold behind Jayce. The same could be done at min 27. If Fiora just splits against the Jayce without Flash, she can dive him and end the game if T1 don't recall, or Nash if they do. I'm an euw Fiora otp in d3 btw. 60% wr on 300+ games on Fiora (ign: Top Performer). Pretty sure Fiora can split, dive him there easily and win the game by that. Remember, Fiora is best when split-pushing... :) What do you guys think?

And he still did a lot of damage and was actually really useful in teamfights. I thought he was just gonna be like a cannon minion in that game
Yeah but this is more so a symptom of recent Jayce “Balance” changes, also called make him the squishiest toplaner in the game and put all his power in the lategame/scaling.
Like I get that Jayce can be toxic/oppressive if he is too strong early, but there is a difference between that and hitting Fiora with 5 autoattacks and a Q+E, and still getting outtraded with Q and W from Fiora.
Jayce has shit base AD, HP and armor, way too easy to kill if you can get on top of him, so that means for Jayce that 1 mistake early means you won’t be a champion till you hit Eclipse+Muramana.

How does camping the best top laner in the world, takes away his title? That's like 2v1 Mike Tyson without him knowing
I feel like this reinforces his title, if anything. If you're forced to camp his lane, giving the opponents the opportunity to apply pressure on the other two lanes, and he's still keeping up in CS and does the second highest damage in teamfights, just stop trying.
After they got the Baron Buff,, they protect Guma, and that's how teamwork work.
37:00 One talks about this but this was just as clutch as the elder fight. T1 literally gets collapsed on RNG enemy side and have no choice but to fight into them. That was the best defensive team fight I've seen.
I feel like T1's pivot is either Zeus or Guma. RNG knew this from game 1 and tried to camp Zeus as much as they can. But that dude did more damage than Breathe in teamfights.
SO to Faker on that elder fight. Dove onto the backline and popped Kais'a GA and killed Nautilus while the rest of T1 was on Sejuani. Wasn't really highlighted by the casters, but insane teamfighting from the goat.
"Faker zoned RNG's botlane" sure if you call oneshotting them zoning. he single-handed took them out of the game and allowed the the rest of his team to 3v4.

Breathe was 2 autos from cleaning up that whole last fight. Eastern Fiora is no joke. Props to both teams. A true masterclass of team fighting.

Breathe should have done more in the mid-late game for as fed as he got at the start though
Fiora did nothing with his lead though. Like how could you deal less damage than the enemy top who's 0/6 when you're a full build Fiora. This is especially true when the rest of T1 has like 4 items at max except for Guma.

After kill on Jayce min 21:30 they had two options: 1. Fiora could split with tp and dive the Jayce anytime or force him to give the tower. Jayce can not stay under Tower on his own against 4/0/3 20 Farm up Fiora there. So Fiora ends the game, if they don't send someone to help the Jayce (if they do, they lose Nash). 2. Group/pressure top as four, so Fiora just takes their base against 2k gold behind Jayce.
The same could be done at min 27. If Fiora just splits against the Jayce without Flash, she can dive him and end the game if T1 don't recall, or Nash if they do.
I'm an euw Fiora otp in d3 btw. 60% wr on 300+ games on Fiora (ign: Top Performer).
Pretty sure Fiora can split, dive him there easily and win the game by that. Remember, Fiora is best when split-pushing... :)

Even though Xiaohu threw this game & the series, just show some respect to RNG players (& other players from various teams dealing with COVID) playing these games while still recovering from COVID. While it's not new for all these English speaking casters to be super bias against LPL teams (if you listen carefully on games against LPL teams, they always rooting for the other non LPL team instead of being neutral), Riot casters have never mentioned how COVID affects players performance because they don't want people to realize how Riot is risking all players health while their govenment is lying to the world about their COVID situation in the US. They should have never host this World in the US this year. Very shameful about this company & these bias English speaking casters. People should really boycott them.
