I think navi could've closed out mirage. Wonderful was activated very late and whiffed crucial shots, he was under pressure and was not able to stable himself. Great composure by Navi lost pistol and was manhandled by vitality on inferno, yet they made a comeback look possible. No matter who, Blade has to be the best coach counter strike has ever seen. He is rock solid. Spectacular game.
If u notice wonderful really missing his simple shots on crucial times and make few stupid moves which makes diff wonderful still not reach t1 level completely yet

i think vita could have closed it actually way earlier LMAO. Same for last map. Even on Dust 2 i believe vita was playing a bit poorly compared to their last dust 2 maps.

Everytime NAVI loses its Aleksib:s fault but everytime NAVI wins its tier 3 bots getting carried by Blade its unbelieavable we get to see this toxic shit even when we are being delivered an absolute banger of a match. Both teams played their hearts out and even tho there was a lot of small mistakes and chokes its to be expected in Cologne grand finals especially when almost every map goes to OT. GGWP Vitality you were better this time and nice try Navi this would have sealed them as the best team in 2024 but we still have many chances!

The awper diff was absolutely significant here. I feel like Wonderful didnt have a good night sleep prior to the game. He was not fully locked in. I was watching live and they could have won mirage if he did not miss the shot in A Ramp. I kinda miss S1mple in this game because the performance between Zywoo and S1mple are somewhat equal. Wonderful was not able to keep up with zywoo in frags. Zywoo top fragging and wonderful almost bottom fragging. But they all have these days. He will do better. Congrats to vitality!

Super happy for ZywOo and especially Apex. They've been close on winning Cologne but now they finally get it. Back in Cologne 2019 ZywOo only went back with MVP but no trophy now he has both. The best CS2 series so far, it was absolutely enthralling!
I think zywoo is just like forest and s1mple is like Neo. Neo was the greatest in cs 1.6 and forest was second greatest,however in csgo forest surpass Neo overall and become goat of cs in general. The samething with zywoo,s1mple was the greatest in csgo and zywoo second greatest,however zywoo is better than s1mple in CS2 therefore zywoo is goat of cs in general.

Predictably the 2 best team of the tournament faced each other today. First of all Congratulations to Team Vitality. All players played very well even Apex the Igl was insane. Nt Navi but unfortunately today and during the whole tournament wonderful played not his best game. It’s ok when young players made mistakes but it was the huge aspect of their loss today. Navi became a very strong team but still they have a lot of work to do. GG to both teams!

Let's just ignore all the games where wonderful had double the kills of anyone in navi team and carried them... IEM Cologne was more exciting then Copenhagen. Crazy upsets, awesome strategies, amazing player profiles. Fucking unreal event and this grand final was on another level. Mirage is an all time clash of the best. So keen for the rest of this season
i think IM is the best cs player currently and Vitality had to push his skills to the limits to defeat this NAVI...what a comeback from Mezii in Mirage(3k in CT-side and finish the map with 27k).

He was he only one holding A, even if he got one here are still three players left! Honestly he lost mirage and his failed comms, failed smokes/flashes are not qualifying him for a Tier S awper. Tier S baiter YES but not awper! (Kicked from Spirit because of these reasons!)

I can't believe what this cologne has to deliver. I was on edge of my seat whole match. Wonderful threw it away so many times against Spinx and zywoo. If I had to club into one sentence i would say Navi bottles when they are under pressure

Today NAVI played without AWPER. Hell, I already forgot how many crucial shots W0nderful missed. Perhaps he is the most responsible for them losing today. Maybe with S1mple they wouldn't have made it to the final, but they certainly wouldn't have lost it today. He wouldn't have failed like that. Just look at minute 1:08:40. Final round, they won and played with less pressure and better in Inferno for being ahead on the scoreboard. The story would have been different

Mirage 12-10 was the crucial one,game was over there if not for wonderful.

12-9 is also crucial on inferno and aleksib missing shots. also on nuke b1t has little contribution. JL, not much impact but hes doing fine. only iM played well on all Maps this time, but in the previous tournament hes at the bottom.

Probably these condition cost navi the trophy. Going againts Zywoo and his superteam can't afford a mistake. Even that low rating apex can frag like crazy shows something wrong with navi.

I see a lot of people point out Alexib and wonderful mistakes but no one saying anything about how many times bit got way too aggressive in many scenarios. As a team they had a lot of chances to score when needed. A bit too aggressive in moments patience was needed. Well played from both teams, love to see a good match for the grand final

Even though the series ended 3-1 it felt like 5 maps since there was 2 overtimes, and mirage went on for triple overtime....
I knew NaVi was mentally in the dumpster after the mirage loss since it's their best map... They really needed that, congrats to Vitality anyways, unfortunate w0nderful underperformed so hard.
Zywoo did play amazing series sure, but I think his praise is slightly overestimated by w0nderful just wiffing shots that you should almost never miss, and then hitting the flickshots consistently that you should usually miss...He really needs to work on holding angles, or it may have just been his nerves getting to him idk..... So unfortunate.
B1t didn't show up either tbh, out of everyone in NaVi I feel the most empathy for iM he tried so hard to carry Nuke and Mirage with like 1.4 rating or something as the entry fragger.....

While watching mirage, and after 2nd OT, I was already thinking, whoever wins this will win the whole series. Took too much of mental health to overcome that map, and Inferno showed it was impossible, only by the end NAVI woke up. Congrats to Vitality!
PS a lot of people are saying about crucial mistakes, but that goes to both teams. The first 3 maps were uncertain until the very end! and I think 3 1 does not reflect how CLOSE this encounter was.
