Heroines then beat him up, get banned from jedi order and become some kind of grey jedi with pink lightsabers, Plagueis teased in last 3 minutes, then show get cancelled, audience blamed sexist. Promo campaign to Goonies in space begins.

Been trying to work out if it was where it paused on or just the disdainful delivery of "LOOK AT THIS SHIT!" that had me 😂 non-stop for 20 minutes.
I think that my main problem with this trailer is that it lacks soul. It doesn't feel like a mythological struggle between good and evil. It's going to be a struggle between moral grey and moral grey. It's all going to come down to assassinations and light saber fights.

On a separate note I watched Rogue One on the 4th. I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this before but when Andor is locked in Saul Gerreras cell he mentions that this is the first time he has been locked in a prison. Wasn’t he in prison in the Andor series making death star laser dish parts?

A good villain is someone you know, who's been there all along, right in front of you this whole time and you didn't even know it. It's really sad that with each new Star Wars creation, the prequels looks better.

With the dark lighting my first reaction to that helmet was cook-cook from Fallout New Vegas, and for a time period that is supposed to before the Republic was in decline that the diversity in species seems to be lacking with only a few tokens, but a disproportionate number of humans.

The writers of the Acolyte seem to be confused about what they are trying to say about destiny not being an impersonal force that controls your future, and you can somehow 'pull the thread' to change things. By definition, if you are subject to destiny your choices are limited by some outside force. If you can choose freely to do otherwise than that which you are nominally 'destined' to do, and thus avert the foretold outcome, then you are not subject to destiny at all. Someone seems to have misunderstood the tension between notions of destiny and free will that lies at the heart of so much fantasy and science fiction.
More so since star wars pushes destiny pretty hard. Everything that was supposed to happen, did happen and will happen. That aside they already broke the canon by having a sith run around within earshot of yodas age range. Since a certain jedi on the council said sith haven't been seen for nearly a millennium. Yet we have one actively engaging in combat with jedi.
