From a Michigan fan. I have to say Purdue does not look like an 8 & 5 team. They probably won't get a top bowl appearance. But whomever does play them, is going to have their hands full. They moved the ball against a very good Michigan defense. They just couldn't put the ball into the end zone, so they had to settle for five field goals. Make those field goals into TD's and Purdue wins a bowl game.
Barely lost to PSU and Syracuse. Could easily be a 10 win team. We saw Michigan blow out Iowa 42-3 in last years game. Not the same Big Ten Championship quality opponent despite their record.
They will play in the Rose Bowl. The winner of this game plays in the Rose Bowl, unless they are invited to play in the college playoffs. Since Michigan is going to the playoffs, the loser (Purdue) goes to the Rose Bowl. I'm 90% certain.

I am sure Purdue will give a strong performance in whatever Bowl game they go to. Is it just me or Michigan is playing style pretty similar to Dawgs of Georgia? They love power running game and they utilize their tight ends quite a bit.
Passing yards might just be one of the most over-hyped stats in football. Look at all these championship games this weekend for example - The losing teams in each game threw for more yards than the winning teams. In Michigan's case, their last two opponents have thrown for 350 yards or more while McCarthy barely scratches 150 and they blow them out. Georgia blew the doors off LSU but the Tigers threw for 500 yards. That's incredible! If you can't ground and pound it you're soft and just trying to play catch up against better teams. And that is why QB's with blown up passing stats should not be dominating the Heisman year in and year out, IMO.
Fox Sports needs to hire some cameramen that cover golf - because JJ's pass traveled faster than the panning of the camera -- may be faster than the speed of light itself? 13:45 and 9:02

Big shoutout to Purdue for making it an interesting game. Good stuff from both sides.
Congrats to Michigs Michigan. Playoffs just might have 2 B1G teams representing depending how seeding goes. Impressive!
Who’s the haters that said JJ can’t throw ? The Don Edwards definitely going NFL draft
JJ misses every other open throw. It's horrible. O'Connell made more guys throws in a possession than JJ did that entire game.
@@thenewfire hater begone.
@@thenewfire O’Connell is the real burger. Buddy
@@stopdroolin8418 lol . Michigan with the smash 💥
Will Johnson will go down in history as the greatest football player to have ever lived
I remember at the beginning of the season I laughed at someone when he told me that Purdue would make the Big Ten championship. Well that for me aged like milk in the hot summer sun
Two consecutive Big 10 championship and Michigan, punches their ticket to the playoffs, I'm hoping the committee doesn't vote Alabama in though
Nice game and an even stronger win...Go Michigan💪👊🤛💥
Back to back, baby!!! 💙💛💙💛💙💛🤟🤟
Love the tight coverages by Michigan’s D-backs
JJ had one bad throw all game and it was an INT that didn’t even matter. I think he should’ve won MVP he had more TDs than Don and made a big impact. But Will Johnson easily had the biggest impact with two ints.
Any of the 3 we're deserving. I don't think they care about it and Edwards award speech was emblematic of the team.
JJ missed 6 open throws today. That was a poor game. He's got to get better fast.
@@thenewfire hater begone! You're not a Michigan fan!
Michigan played really well. Good job.
Did not expect these boilers to make it so far! Boiler up!
Purdue isn't a bad team at all and played really well this weekend but they are the benefits of playing in the weakest division in all of college football. They really finished number 4, almost number 5 in the BigTen.
First time since 1997 we are undefeated
From a lifelong Michigan fan salute to Purdue for bringing a good game.
That said: LET'S GO BLUE 🔵
Can't believe Donovan Edwards is only a sophomore! Michigan might be even better next year, especially if J.J McCarthy continues improving that arm
Michigan vs Georgia part 2 coming soon?
Props to Purdue. Their qb is nfl ready. You stuck him in a good team and he boutta be a problem
Raidersssssssss
Gud call bro
I’m gonna give respect when it is due, and my hats off and I salute Perdue……that fight was a good one and I must say that program is gonna go far, just gotta put the pieces in the right spot, but my alumni MICHIGAN is just to damm good…..GO BLUE!!!!
this was a good ass game to watch GO BLUE!!!!!
Watching this knowing that Purdue had all of Michigan's signals is hilarious 😂😂😂
Cry
Harbaugh has completely revamped the Wolverines!!!!!!!〽️
Btw...Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt really need to go! It's not even like they called a fair color commentary
As a PSU fan I'm happy for both Michigan and Jim Harbaugh. But UGA is on a mission and it's going to take a lot to wreck that mission hope Michigan has what it takes good luck Blue.
Watch Edawards right hand cover the football when about to be tackled and then he releases his right hand, friggin brilliant on his 27 yard TD run
You know, I really like your videos, but something that kind of annoys me is your use of the incorrect logo of Michigan. The actual logo is a Maize M with a Navy background, your probably not gonna see this but I just thought I’d say it.
Wish LSU could play the team Michigan does 😂😂😂😂😂
Another great game!
That receiver for Purdue is NO joke.
Had never heard of him.
Next Hunter Henfrow from Raiders
@@kalvinbaber5484 How bout the 1st him.
The Boilers battled in this game..Michigan was the better team going into this game, and forced Purdue to kick five field goals..That was difference in the game..Michigan's defense played well..I was proud of Purdue's effort and finally playing in the B1G football championship game..💛⬛🏈💺
Not gonna lie the fake flea flicker was tough 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Is it just me or Michigan is playing style pretty similar to Dawgs of Georgia? They love power running game and they utilize their tight ends quite a bit.
Go blue 💙💛
Never looked at like that great analysis
GO BLUE WE ARE GOATED 〽️〽️〽️💙💛
This was a good game fr
THANKS, WHEELS
GO BLUE
Great game Michigan
From Ann Arbor...
Congrats Purdue. Champions of the West. Played your hearts out. Hope you guys get a good bowl game. NOT the Idaho Potato Bowl. LOL.
I will give Purdue a lot of credit. They gave maximum effort, there is no shame in losing to a team that is just better.
Michigan fan here and I have nothing negative to say about Purdue that’s a scrappy football team
Michigan in the last 8 games has out scored their opponents 186-29 in the second half
Fox Sports needs to hire some cameramen that cover golf - because JJ's pass traveled faster than the panning of the camera -- may be faster than the speed of light itself? 13:45 and 9:02
Nice Video undefined
