Tenshin is a duo of susumu yokota and his friend Makoto. Susumu Yokota debuted in 1992, but for a long time, it was known that Yokota made his official debut in 1993 when he released 12inch under the name of Frankfurt-Tokio-Connection at Harthouse because of her unauthorized release from No Respect Records, the label that released 12inch at the time. Then, a few months later, he released his debut album, Frankfurt Tokyo Connection. Tenshin은 스스무 요코타와 그의 친구 마코토로 이루어진 듀오다. 스스무 요코타는 1992년에 데뷔한 게 맞지만 당시 12인치를 발매했던 레이블인 No Respect Records에서 유닛의 허락 없이 무단으로 발매해버린 이유 때문에 오랜 기간 동안 요쿄타가 1993년에 Harthouse에서 Frankfurt-Tokio-Connection이라는 이름으로 12인치를 발표하면서 정식으로 데뷔했다고 알려졌다. 그리고 몇 달 후에 데뷔 음반 Frankfurt Tokyo Connetion을 발표하였다.
