I think I saw a featurette or interview woth Camilla (Jo) at some point and the accent came up in a question and she said that unlike "Owen" the actor's first name escapes me, she can go back and forth with her accent so once she has it that was it for the whole day of filming unlike "Owen", who could jump a back and forth between the accents all day.
Debbie Allen looks phenomenal for 74. I remember watching her on Fame 40 years ago.

I have to say the only time I have cried is when George died and Derek and chief Bailey is the dogs bollocks I love her to bits I think she’s fantastic specially in the beginning of the programs that younger days I’ve never laughed so much in my entire life, love from the UK❤

she doesn't like using it outside of private apparently, helps her keep up the american accent when actually acting. but you can hear that she's a bit more relaxed here than on screen.
