This scene is great. It shows how you gotta deprive yourselves from certain pleasures in order to be safe: it shows the bite as something pleasing, but the soundtrack and the way its shot shows the danger.

Now that's what I call chemistry. So far too many of the ships on this show have been lacking - very different to shows like The Vampire Diaries where so many characters had incredible chemistry from the jump and that show was not afraid to go dark. At least these two provide both chemistry and a dark fantasy potential that makes everything else look like a kiddie's show. Please give us more Raphael and Izzy!

I also want to add that despite the chemistry they appeared to have, Raphael is asexual and I think that’s official in the show too (I’m going off the books but the author was very involved in the show so I don’t think that changed). Raphael really respected Izzy and she was one of the few people he actually liked which I think is why they had a better connection than any other characters did with him.
I'd ship this if Izzy would just "sweat it out." Raphael doesn't need to get another addiction. She's being a little selfish in this situation.
