Can you clarify why removing the rear centre rib gives more room? Surely by just removing that rib to give a flat back, you've actually removed that little bit of space behind the bedchair, but not actually gained anything, or have I missed something?
Hi, Removing the central rear rib allows users to maximize 'usable' space. Instead of having that useless area of space at the back of your bed you can push the bed right back and maximize the usable space at the front of the bed. Hope that helps.
Agreed with Matthew, that "unusable space" as you call it, is where I keep my boat bag, rucksack, cool bag and my carryall bag, you've dropped a clanger there, I was considering what appeared to be a great system, but you've removed a massive amount of useful space that I absolutely depend on for 2-3 nights under an oval brolly
Who has used this brolly over a long period of time? Hows is it setting up? And has it lastest the test of time? Pros and cons? I'm in the market for one of these but here allot of mixed reviews.
My m8 has this brolly for a year now and it looks and feels amazing. Yes it does take a few more minutes to set up compared to the tempest but the dual layer allready implemented. His brolly is still in perfect shape en nothing is broken so far. Im getting one too for Christmas😁
They do generally loosen overtime but while still tight a little hack is to wrap one hand around the mechanism and then give it a tap with your other hand over the part the release trigger is.
I need a sparepart for the brolly but no one is answer on my email by AvidCarp?! and why is the center bar in the video so long? The one that was with my tent is only half as long
Hi Justin, Unfortunately due to the current lockdown situation our main offices are currently closed. Did you contact us via our website? In regards to the centre pole in the video, the pole is no different than is on any of the brolly systems. The camera angle may give the impression that the pole is longer on the first set up clip however if you look at the other clips when Tom is attaching the side poles you can see the length of it.
As a avid customer and I do really rate my avid luggage this brolly needs a zip in mozzy mesh front and put on a diet, at that weight may as well take me bivvy shame as I’d buy it in a heart beat
Hi Lee, Thanks for your comment, it will be passed onto our product development team. The total weight of the fully brolly system is 9.9kg which is lighter than many alternative brolly systems on the market.
Can you provide a set up video, I struggle to set it up in under 10 mins, that's not good if I'm stuck in the rain
How is this brolly after 3 years of use mate? Has it held up ok, I want one but here allot of mixed reviews
Yes? Need feedback please.
Magnetic full front mosquito mesh would be great 👍

I'm also not sure I'd be happy through autumn winds under that with the 2 ribs missing in the centre rear
How do you place the condens layer in the tent i keep struggling with putting it away
Just had one for Christmas missing one centre pole to put it up
Yep ANOTHER bivvy upload that doesn't show setting up or taking down.

Can you put the brolly away with the front on ?
If I wanted to buy a brolly system I'd buy this
Thanks for watching!👌
I love mine but the release mechanism is so stiff when you take it down. Any tips please?

This looks absolutely mint looks one the best I've seen how much rrp is it? Might have to have a look at one of these beauties
Hi Ben, They retail at £449.99. If you take a look online though or ask at your local avid stockists you may find them cheaper!
Nice
Thanks!

@@AvidCarpFishingTV Yes via Website.Oh Okay it looks so long in the video
Bought one today but will be sending it back if I can’t find a video of how to set it up no instructions so bad avid😢
>What is Not included in 400quid price?
Looks good. How heavy is it?
Andrew Price On the avid site it states 9:9 kg but not sure if that’s everything or just the Striped out brolly.
9.9kg in total. Pegs and groundsheet included.
@@AvidCarpFishingTV Great thanks.
Will bigger bedchairs fit inside it
Due to the Brolly systems flat back even the bigger bedchairs such as our Benchmark X bed & system will fit in with plenty of spare room for luggage.
@@AvidCarpFishingTV OK thanks
Hey, will a benchmark x go inside this without too much issue?
Did you get answer as I emailed them the same question but no reply?
