Thanks so much Fr. Rich and this Catholic Talk Show. I'm discerning the priesthood and this is amazing insight. I really hope I am called to this way of life.
Thanks Ryan, Ryan and Fr. Rich I enjoy Catholic Talk Show so much. As a convert I have learned so much. Keep up the good shows.
Fr. Richard you’re a gem in holy mother church
Fr Rich, we need more Priests like you. God Bless, you are such an amazing, empathetic, genuine and Holy man. The Church is lucky to have you on our side
Darling, there is ZERO evidence for a sacerdotal, catholic priesthood in the N.T., NOW WAKE UP!

I know you must be a woman. Can you be all these things? Give the pastor a break. He is human afterall.
I just wanted to say from the perspective as a non-Catholic how refreshing it is to find rather young or young-"ish" men talking about old school faith and having a calling to serve others. It is very inspiring.
Thank you thank you thank you for this episode. ✝️
🙏 Praying for all the priests bishops and Cardinals and Pope and all the young men who are discerning their call to the priesthood.
May God bless you and keep you all the days of your life ✝️

It’s a challenge my husband died a long time age and I am not nearly as happy. Marriage is also a beautiful sacrament instituted to give grace, God bless all the priests!
“O,how great is a priest! The priest will not understand the greatness of his office till he is in heaven. If he understood it on earth, he would die not of fear, but of Love.”-St John Vianney, Patron of priests
"The victory of Christ is well worth the fight" Fr. Rich is bringing the fire of the Holy Spirit!! Love it! Fantastic episode this week!!
i am from Singapore . I really love your chat very amazing . Wish to listen to more chats. How do i go about to receive your live chat ..thank you
I love how he is so open and genuine
I have been a priest for 40 years. The fact that I have lasted 40 years its proof God has a wonderful sense of humor.I have two full parishes. I love my priesthood but have a total distaste for administration. I would love to hear his take when he is a pastor of a parish in the middle of no wheres where there is no money, no help , and tons of problems. I have struggled a lot, I have fallen a lot, and I have been forgiven a lot . The look of his parish it is not one of those that is overwhelming. The danger is messiah complex. There is no such thing as a bad priest. Just a priest whose people do not pray for him. Thank God he has such support. A priest must feel that his support is more merciful and supportive than the Taliban
God bless you for what you do.
We the lay people should pray more for our parish priests who act as our spiritual fathers
The part where Fr. Richard opened up about how confession and other darker encounters affect him really gave me a new appreciation for our (my wife's and my) confessor (He's 84 I believe).
Whew, makes me tired just thinking about all you do in one typical day! I am grateful for our dedicated priests like Fr. Richard!
We thank God for the gift of Priesthood.
Thank God for Father Pagano. I'm new to Catholicism and he is my priest. He is fantastic. So thankful God led me to SJP2.
Oh stop it. There is NO MENTION OF A CELIBATE, SACERDOTAL CATHOLIC PRIESTHOOD IN THE N.T.
All RC priests are wasting their entire lives!
I love The Catholic Show!!! Thanks Fr. Rich for telling us about your day/weeks as a Priest. I am Catholic but have never heard our priests tell what they do each and everyday! I will pray for you Father. God bless you
Always a great show, but this one has been my favorite. Father Rich is as real as real can be. What an incredible blessing to our diocese!
Fr. Rich is a LOST SOUL and wasting his life. There is ZERO evidence for a sacerdotal, catholic priesthood in the N.T., NOW WAKE UP!

❤🎉😊yes!
Father you are an absolutely true mentor for all priests. God has revealed the sins of the church. Its now time to heal and get back to what we do, praise God! Be Apostolic! I love my Catholic faith..
Father I came to reconciliation recently and man how amazing I feel. I plan on going weekly. Every Catholic should celebrate reconciliation. God the Father told mewhile in prayer. If you are afraid to go to confession, to reconcile your sins, how are you going to feel facing me without repenting? Please don't be afraid as it is so freeing.
Father Pagano you are amazing. You are humble and such a loving man. Know we are all praying for you, we are blessed to have a priest who is blessed in the spirit. Lean into God as you do for wisdom and strength. I will always pray for you. You have absolutely ministered to my husband and I. God is great! Your friends are wonderful and I love this show.
This was such a great episode. Loved hearing about the priesthood and Father Pagano's journey. Sounds like a daily rollercoaster. We really need to say prayers for our priests. You really go through so much for us.
Thanks
You r full for crap and bind!
The word was blind!!!
Most of us have no idea what our priests go through 😞
Father God Bless you for your honesty. When I listen more and more to the priest I realize what a blessing it is to be called and given a relgious vocation.
HI.v
I can’t talk to a priest since my youngest son age 54 died of suicide. My parish priest had no empathy for me or him at all. A funeral my way was out of the question. My church abandoned me .i stopped going to church . I didn’t give up on my God but I won’t go back to my Catholic Church. I still have not buried my sons ashes . When I do can I do it how do I ask a caring priest or religious to be with me. It’s been three yrs
@@loiserschens4017 I can imagine your pain, but I beleive losing a child or older son is gotta be unbearable.
Call the suicide group and get into counseling right now.
Then see .if you can find a priest you can become comfortable with.
There's someone who can help.🙏🙏🙏
@@loiserschens4017 I suggest you join an orthodox or an eastern catholic church in your area. You can then talk to a priest. This is really a tough and traumatic situation to lose a child and at the same time rejected by the house of God.
@@loiserschens4017 I am so sorry for the loss of your son. That had to be horrific and the most painful time. Not to have a sympathetic priest to help you through this time must have been so terribly hurtful. There are bad priest that unfortunately cause people to leave the church. They will have to answer to God. I am glad you did not turn against God. Sometimes God leaves us with no one but Him. I don’t know why but my first thought is that He wanted you to know to focus on Him because your son is safe in His arms with Him. Perhaps reach out to another Catholic parish/priest. Maybe a friend knows a priest who will assist you w/burying the ashes. Stay strong my friend and never give up on God. I know know it seems like eternity but the time will come when you will see your sweet son again.
I can relate with you, Father..
how I wish I could turn back the time when mom told me to become a Nun..🙏🏼
47:00 another example, besides Jesus "dressing down" is when Angels appear to us in human form. Like Paul wrote "show kindness to all you meet for in so doing, many have entertained Angels unaware"
One day I was volunteering in our parish office. My pastor came in, on his day off in blue jeans, a polo shirt with our parish logo and a ball cap. As he walked in he immediately, humbly, apologized and his body language indicated to me it was for his appearance. I immediately said you should get a day off once in awhile and he thanked me. I love, love the clerics especially the cassock. It makes me conscience of my soul. But seriously everyone should have some time off. Miss my pastor so much. (new assignment) Thank you for your podcasts, I love the banter, because it does remind me of those few personal moments I was able to share with him.
Thank you for everything you do and for all that you share with us thank you Father Rich for being a part of this group it makes it very special God Bless
I feel it is important to try to understand the true and real challenges priests have. The honesty of knowing and trying to understand it. Sometimes we try to avoid to hear the truth.
Shout out to Fr. Clay Bernie Clayton who in less than two years as a priest is now the Director of Vocations at the largest Archdiocese in Florida, Saint Augustine. One day he will be a Cardinal .. he is a priest of the people!!
Oh my what a great show. So informative but not too heavy to lose your audience. I would like to know more about the different types of priests. Diocene, Jesuit, Franciscan etc... May God continue to bless all of you. Thank you.
My wife and i are so inspired by this show we listen to it all the time, God is truly working through you three men! Awesome stuff and god bless
First time i am looking at this podcast, enjoyed very much. Fr Rich is such a humble open priest! May God continue to Bless and protect him!!!
This was probably one of the most interesting and informative shows I’ve seen you guys do. Thanks for sharing Fr. Rich

@@mojo7495 Sorry, Ma'am (or sir). The Holy Spirit is 100% with Christ's One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church--as Jesus said. There is ample proof in the Holy Bible for a Catholic Priesthood. There is zero evidence, however, for any sect, breakaway, and the like to even be in existence.
Do you know that ALL NT authors are Catholic? And Catholic Priests? Yep.
@@michelleishappy4036 Spare us the CRAP assertion that all the writers of the N.T. were catholic priests! This is delusion on a grand scale!
Face it... Your doctrines are ALL unbiblical! There is no papacy, no papal infallibility, no marian dogmas, no sacerdotal catholic priesthood, no purgatory, no indulgences, no bread and wine turning into the physical body parts of Christ, etc etc. It is Satan's masterpiece and OH BOY...will Judgment Day be a shock to the system for YOU.
@@mojo7495 Vade retro, Satana.
@@drummerlovesbookworm9738 Same to you.
And of course, you could not prove a catholic priesthood if your life depended on it, so I see you didn't even try.
Have fun on Judgment Day when you come to find out everything you believed was a lie and all those wasted hours at Mass, worthless.
I like our priests wearing their clerical uniform all the times because for me priests are not just a regular men.
This was an excellent episode. I love the Priests in our Church and I try to help them out as much as possible as I know they are busy men. God bless you three. Keep up the good work. This is one of my favorite channels/podcasts.
This was an awesome episode ! Thank you for sharing Fr. Rich and thank you for being a priest. 🙏🏼😊
There' s a lot i learn from your show which enriches my faith, thanks to you three!!
Thank you for being so real and honest. Thank you for your sacrifice, love and preaching. God Bless you
God Bless all of our Priests. We are blessed with 2 wonderful priests up in my parish in Wisconsin who are great people and wonderful Shepards to their flock. We see their love of Christ everyday and they really set the example of living God’s word.
I paused: I am enjoying this program, you have no idea how much! It reminds me of when my sister (nun) tells me the 'adventures' she goes on, and the things that happen. I am also remembering all the priests that I have met and been friends with :) I am enjoying seeing your friendship through the screen of my computer: what a beautiful friendship you have!
I love our priests. Thank you for your vocation.
Fabulous video. Really enjoyed it. The Church is lucky to have you, Fr. Rich!
I felt sapped when the Bishop place his hands on my head at ordination, I felt a surge of power coming down on me. A friend who was ordained by the same bishop also felt such a surge of power from the Holy Spirit from this bishop.
Wonderful program. Thank you for sharing, Fr Rich. I am in RCIA and this answered a lot of my questions. I respect you and pray for you and for all those sacrificing through religious life. 🙏🏻
1:12 pm Barbados 11 March 2023 so much important information many congregations do not realize or understand
Praying for your show
Thus episode nakes me understand priests better,, i will share tjus with my friends priest, my late eldest brother is a priest and i saw a lot of qualities you discussed in him, To God be praise, glory and thsnksgiving!!
This will be fun to watch !!!!!!! 😁😁😁
in addition: the real test is when you are in a parish that you have so much need and so few people to assist. It is a place that you have no clue of how to pay the bills. This is where trust and prayer is most important. It sounds like he has staff and volunteers. I have been in situations where I am the staff, maintenance, DRE, choir, etc lol...I came close to loosing my vocation. God has seen me through. A priest must learn to overcome his duplicities and forgive himself as God who lovingly forgives. Burnout, breakdown, etc is always around. I don't regret a day. I would do it all over again. One day at a time. The serenity prayer says it all.
Have to say I've grown really fond of this show, these discussions are so informing with brilliant anecdotes, touching honesty and a great healthy Christian humour in my view. Must have seen 2 dozen shows, now. Keep the faith you guys, you're inspiring so many people..
Thank you Fr. Rich.... God bless you.

Awesome episode glad I found it!!! Fr. Rich, your answers are from the heart and I loved hearing them … thanks Fella’s 🙏🏻
We all get caught up in the business of life that we forget to appreciate that we ARE busy. A lot of joy is lost in boredom and monotony. Also, Fr. Tetlow of SJDR is a national treasure. He was the catalyst for my conversion.
Great interview! Very insightful for those of us who are intercessors for our pastors. I'm always looking for the best ways to pray for and bless my parish Father's. Many thanks to the Fr. for his honest responses. Blessings in Christ Jesus to you all.

Blessed be God forever and ever Amen. God bless you Fr.
There is a different point of view on priests wearing clerical collar in public:
my former pastor is proponent of wearing clerical collar at all times in public because of his experience with people asking him for confession on the street and even in restaurant. A young Dominican priest I know wore his habit while traveling and many times at the airport curious young men would come to inquire .
May be because I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada, eh?
Thank you for this talk show. We are blessed to have Fr. Rich's guidance. Will pray for you all!
What a beautiful closing remarks Fr. Rich 🙏🙏🙏

Fascinating conversation and y’all’s kindredship is wonderful. This should be shown at faith development groups at high schools, Neumann Centers etc.! 55 years ago, in 3rd grade, I checked out a book, You Want to Be a Priest, and explored the deaconate 35 years later. I didn’t make it, but this conversation is powerful with its candor to the call. God bless y’all!

Father Pagano is a lovely down to earth man and Priest. If we only new the background of these great individuals. Priests and Nuns are not made in factories they are normal people from all areas of life. I know recently a couple of late vocations to the Cloth. A Nun who was a married lady and then a Widow now a Nun and a Priest who was an IT Consultant and became a Priest in his 40's, a Priest who a Funeral Director and went to the English College in Rome in his 40's after a call to Priesthood. Please look up Sister Clare Crockett from Northern Ireland who was an aspiring Actress turned Nun. Her story is on RUclips, such an its inspiring story, she is up for possible beatification. She died as a Selfless act of her dedication to her vocation
This should be GREAT!! AMAZING DISCUSSION. May God continue to Bless you gentlemen!
