08 Pontiac G8 thermostat

Was looking through forums and online, ofcourse youtube for ways to change out the thermostat on a 08 G8. There wasnt much info so i figured i would make one if i figured out the best way for me atleast. No i didnt even have to raise the car.

So taking off the cowel thing for the wipers is what gives you the room?
That sounds about right---same thng with the 3.3 and 3.8 on the chrysler vans. People don't wanna take that shit off but it's actually not that hard and makes things a ton easier.

Just did the water pump in mine. Now I gota do the thermostat. Man they dont put it in an easy spot.

How you're able to make room I'm currently working on it just can't take take the heater hose off and the injectors in the middle

How did you remove the cowl?
