fixing a botched motorcycle hub
A buddy of mine, brought me his motorcycle wheel. He had a new tire put on and the shop doing the job broke off the bolts that hold his brake rotor to the hub. I had to make a jig on my lathe, drill out the holes and old bolts to be able to tap the holes for keenserts. I couldnt use helicoils because the shop that did the tire drilled the holes crooked and didnt even get the bolts out. So I had to drill the holes out for a 1/2-13 Outside thread keensert, that has a 3/8-16 internal thread.

Back logged maintinance/ repairs on a rare French MF -25. This tractor is a French little brother to the massey ferguson MF-35. It is the predicessor to the MF-130. Like most tractors it was abused and neglected. Parts are difficult to source because of its rare in the USA filters, bearings and seals all have to be researched and ordered which means lots of down time. Additionally its kind of a...

Old video, is the truck done?
Hello Sr. Thank you for your time and knowledge on this matter. I am having problem to remove my fuel heater from the old base. Could you please let me know how to remove it? I thank you very much in advance for your time and help .Best, Ricardo.
I would like to thank you for this video. I did the same setup except I changed the filter to Napa #3121 and added a bleed off valve. Everything is working fine now. Thanks again
Where are you located?
Distributor is one tooth off. Look at an old Ford manual. You'll see what I mean. They have a picture of where the right position is.
I have a 1970 f250 360 and as soon as it warms up it quits. Wish I could show you a vid. So stumped
That's a new one. I'm a retired Ford engine mechanic. Make sure the carb gasket is good. Is it manual Choke or automatic ? I think it's in the carb.
What did u do with the drain line I'm not seeing anyone talk about that just intake and outgoing lines?
I'm doing the same operation and have the same question. What do I do with the drain line?
Hey my guy you are the man you save me an my car video is on point ur the baddest off in no time thanks
Just inherited my grandpas 75 f150 with a 360. Stalls all the time pulling out of driveways and such when it hits level ground. I really need to get some of these instruments and start tweaking with it
Look at the carb first.
@@jesse75 update: I’ve acquired instruments and am actually replacing the carb tonight
@@SonOfAHerbert cool. Some of the trucks had either a manual Choke or heat riser automatic choke. My dad bought a 68 F 100 new with manual Choke. I have the truck now. Never have a problem with it. Timing, plug gap, idle set is factory nominal settings. You really have to set those by the type of fuel, elevation and temperature outside.
I have also switched to duraspark distributor, coil and ignition box. Runs much better and smoother. Points you always have to mess with them.
@@jesse75 this new Chinese carb has a complete electric choke, which mine was non functional before and missing some pieces. I just don’t know how the transmission linkage next to the accelerator operates
I have issue with timing jumping around , rebuilt carb ,now goin to change cap rotor plugs , ben sitting for 6 yrs , supposed to be low mile rebuild on motor
That's a timing chain. Grab the lower pulley. Turn it back and forth by hand. Bet money you'll hear the chain making noise.
These general motors ( buick, chevy, pontiac) are a real pain to work on.
How do you hook up the analyzer to check the dwell? I have an old one kind of like yours but I've never messed with checking the dwell, I've only done plugs, points, and timing. Tuning up my 72 f250 with the 360 as well.
So taking off the cowel thing for the wipers is what gives you the room? That sounds about right---same thng with the 3.3 and 3.8 on the chrysler vans. People don't wanna take that shit off but it's actually not that hard and makes things a ton easier. Thank you so much for the video. No one else shows taking this trough/cowel thing off.
Thank you for this video sir
Hi, I blew the fuse on that same SAE connector/pigtail that came on my 2022 Road King. I bought another pigtail replacement and l thought I had to reinstall it again (via the battery), but what you are showing is that I could just swap the 7.5 amp fuse by tracing it back to the wire on factory pigtail, correct? Thanks for the video!
You should be 800 RPM @ idle.
How did you remove the cowl?
Where did you get the fittings?
hello, so I have the older 82 6.2L do you have a part number for the fuel heater? mine starts then dies and the person before me took the mech pump out and put a electric in, in doing so took out the fuel heater. i am thinking that is most of my problem.
Did you ever find that fuel heater? I need the same thing
Also you might just think your Plug is a Three.. but It's just a two..and the " exposed " one should always be the ground side, to be sure.
That plug is not hot with the fuse blown...I KNOW YOU KNOW THAT, .. HARLEY PUTS A 7.5..I put a 10a
What kind the sensor I need for the new filter adapter
How you're able to make room I'm currently working on it just can't take take the heater hose off and the injectors in the middle
Hey what carb is that on it?
Linkage to stir ing colume
Thanks for posting this extremely informative video. It is exactly what I needed to see. Answered all my questions!!!
Part numbers for all parts you used?
Hey Frank, thanks heaps for this. We had the same issue with ours yesterday. Pulled out that chamber and it had tiny stones all through it. Those three jets were blocked bad but all good now thanks to your video. Cheers!
Hi Kevin How could you fix your GP1200?
Did you use a gas Mig? Or Flux core? (Tried myself with my 125 flux core, And wasn’t successful. Had to take mine in to someone else).
The transmission folks didn’t break the bolts; it’s a Hemi “flaw”. Very, very, normal unfortunately. We,ve ALL had it. If you haven’t, you will. 🇨🇦👍🏼

What about the drain Hose What did you do to it?
I just did the same thing he did in the video on my 6.2….with the drain hose all I did was block it off bin running mine for a month or so and haven’t had a problem
I did its running good
What about the drain Hose What did you do to it?

Outstanding. This was a HUGE help. I performed it exactly your way with success.
Damn, now I know what to do with that Sears Engine analyzer! If I can find it again
Come out to vegas need your help
I had a 1970 F100 with the 360 and the three speed manual.
I suggest to check bearing seat. There should 0,01-0,02mm tightness. If the seat is already 0,05mm bearing is to tight and will be damaged like this.
The lubrication on this type of design requires high oil FLOW... not high PRESSURE, as the crankshaft bearings are ball and roller. High pressure in this design will cause the balls or rollers to “skid” for want of a better term. If there is a problem with oil delivery to the rear main bearing and a failure of the rear main seal...I suggest replacing the rear bearing...probably a 6207?... wth a 6207 2RS...that has x2 seals on it. They are prepackaged with high temperature..high pressure grease...and have a life span of over 100 Thousand kilometres or more! If you like, the front seal can be removed...to allow the balls and races a lick of oil...but is not necessary. I have fitted these sealed bearings on several of my pre-1970 BMW’s, and even my 1938 R51....result? Problems solved! The other bonus is the x2 seals on it will mean the large RMS will never leak.
...hey, I have a 2004 Buick Rendezvous CX 3.4L, just a Fwd unit, it's built on the same U Platform as a Chevy Uplander & Venture mini van, and the Pontiac Montana, Buick Terraza, Saturn Relay, Oldsmobile Silhouette...etc, etc. I've noticed that some have a 6 bolt pattern, instead of the 5 bolt pattern on the wheel hub & rim's. Is there a reason, as to why? Is the 6 bolt pattern wheel hub a stronger or beefier unit, since some of those other vehicles built on the same platform are slightly heavier vehicles? 🤔
Hello my name is Jessica Fijalka! I am 19 years old. I have a 72 ford pick up sport edition which also has the 360 8 cylinder in it rebuilt 2 years ago. I'm having issues with my distributor. Previous owner converted it to an electric system but he however did not do it correctly and only did it halfway. So I am now converting it back to the original system. Im wondering where are you located?? I am willing to pay a mechanic that KNOWS my kind of truck or even old vehicles all together just to help me.
Ever get it fixed ?
