@bobafettjr85 I think they use different puppets for the theater silhouettes. They look the same but are completely painted a solid black, including the clear parts. I could be wrong, though.

JFC I put this episode on to fall asleep to. The same unintelligible word shouted 121 times made me so annoyed and cranky. It's now 3am on Saturday the 14th and I am livid 😅
Dad did med school in the 1930s: he said he and his dissecting team named their cadaver: "Theophilus" 😂😂 because it "gave off **the awfulest** odor(!)... 😂🎉😂
48:40 ... 😂 ... I swear that name "Grover's Corners" gets used every episode, when there's a shift to a dark "driving into town" scene. What remains a mystery is whether they're riffing "War of the Worlds" and offering tribute to "Grover's Mills" (fictitious town where the first Martian landing took olace).
56:00 Although it seems like a good idea, never barbecue in a wheelbarrow. The tire will eventually explode and make your sizzling delicacies airborne before you know it.
I think I read somewhere that black-and-white films were originally hard to project against Joel and the Bots for some reason and they’d tint the movies blue. I can’t remember the reason and they didn’t in later seasons.
45:44 😂😂😂 that clock has weird hands ~ even more so than Herr trumP (!); the hour-hand should not be so close to the 11, if the minutes are near 13(!). So... who dropped it, during the set-up?
I like Joel but Mike is considerably better. Even the lesser Mike episodes are still very good, some of the Joel ones are just borderline unfunny. They were still popular and I cherish every single one of them because they were novel, the show was original, the characters were likable and even the bad ones are still good. Nostalgia is the reason why some people still prefer Joel. It can’t be because of the joke quality, and I know that it isn’t. Half of the people who prefer Joel don’t even get some of the jokes because they were so local or so obscure. I love asking them to explain some of the more obscure ones because they just can’t so they try to dance around the question. But they still think that’s better than Mike. Mike has been successful post MST 3K, much more so than Joel and there is a reason.
The movie that makes you long for the competence of Ed Wood 🤣
Wondering about Servo’s head? He got a “haircut” in the previous episode. It goes unexplained in this one and is back to normal in the next.
Thank you. I was confused. But then again I always thought it was weird that his globe is see through yet solid in shadow form.
Thank you! I've been wondering since I first saw it in '93 😅
It's like he got a crew cut 😂

so THIS is where Donald Pleasence learned to pronounce "puma"
"It's Yoyoma. In a graveyard?" Man I about blew my water through my nose!
Wow what a movie! Virtually nothing happens at all for the first hour! Incredible!
More goodness from classic MST3K! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Not even riffing by MST3K can save this stinker.
He said "Puma" 21 times in 2 minutes.
I think you mean Pee-yew-ma.

now we know where Donald Pleasence learned to pronounce it
Yes, 1961, before electric lights had been invented.
😅hilarious classic
The only time the Mads showed a short after another lousy film experiment. Joel and the Bots’ reactions to this are more than appropriate.

Weird... yeah, I guess that is the word for it... Weird...
MST3K never gets old - but I sure have! 🙄 This is my favorite “Joel” episode; the jokes and comments just hit right. 😄🫡🇺🇸 -Doc
Can someone explain "I'll give you $5 if you've got a hard-boiled egg in your purse?" Google's got nothing and my parents didn't recognize it
It's a reference to the old game show Let's Make a Deal where the host would give women money if the had certain items in their purse.
"when you're over 50, you can't be turned down."
Oh goody, almost there...
Yes!! My favorite episode of that era. :)
LOVE the Doctor Phibes reference!
The lead George E. Mather was 42 when he filmed Ring of Terror. 😮
It's funny how all the 1950 and 1960s movies have 40 year olds playing the teenagers!

Grover Mill, Nj is very real. I live 15 minutes away.
Life use to be Awesome 👍
The 90’s were good to us.
*used
1:00:12 “‘become Jack Weston’, no problem!!!”
56:00 Although it seems like a good idea, never barbecue in a wheelbarrow.

Guys. We are 33 minutes in. No rings. No terrors. An old dude stepped on a cat. And a slightly less older dude stomped on a rattlesnake.
Sometimes you watch one of these and the movie just got left on the editing room floor. It is about nothing and nothing happened
24:00 lmao
I think this is the one with the 'Old School' jokes. I really enjoyed this show back when I was in high school.
Whats the deal with Tom's square head in this one? Whats the lore?
He got a haircut in the previous episode. It goes back to normal in the next one.
I see nobody touched the "Harry Slott" in the opening credits.
spongebob reference jump scare
26:12 "who smells fish?"
So, can anyone please explain why this movie was filmed in Grape Nehi Vision?

16:12 1957 Buick Century ?
In the back of my Dragula
where is toms head?
PUMA KITTY IS THE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Why didn’t you finish the “Jimmy Cracked Corn” quote?

Your High!
Brah I found that in up walking bane on RR life o and coin mostly cause I thought certain years had silver in them
One more time, now that you are more sober after a night of rest.
What a randomly pointless film. Could have easily been cut down to a short at best, and abandoned at worst.
Easily the worst movie they ever reviewed
This is legitimately the worst movie I've ever seen.
Robot Monster is much worse. :)
The dump again? Lmao im srsly
Mike is the best host they ever had, Joel is boring besides not funny

maybe it's because Trace was the better Crow and he's in most of the Joel episodes
Hey, I like Joel. He is the OG host. I like Mike as well, but Joel was the one who got me into MST3K.
"Saccharin tablet." Even though it's no longer banned, I still have to comment on how this movie dates itself.
