Grandparents……great-grandparents…..yeah….we rocked back in the day. You see an old lady at the store….you have no clue what she was like 50 years ago. She might have been a rocker! 🤘😁😉
Great reaction…… going through there massive and exceptional catalog, from start to finish, is fun. Go for it, you will make a lot of new friends. I for one :)
This is one of my two favorite live performances, they have such a beautiful soulful way of performing, they don’t just do the songs they mean what they preform. My other favorite live is, Earls Court the May 25,1975 version of In My Time Of Dying, that particular date has the best audio & visuals. It’s an old gospel song, & I know you will love it too. Jimmy Page plays a killer slide guitar, vocals drums etc are all amazing & passion filled. Thank you so much for your reaction, PLEASE keep reacting to Led Zeppelin, I subscribe.
As great as this is, the studio version of this song is perfection. I'd love for you to react to that one too. You can be sure nobody will be mad about it. Also, do yourself a favor and just start from the beginning, you won't regret it, I promise! ☮️❤️
The story of how Led Zepplin became a band is a good one. The story of Jimmy Paige is a good one. Picked up the guitar at 12 did a two year tour then became a session player. They say he played on about 85% of the music coming out of England.
Since it was just coming off the sixties, and the blues was basically a black genre, would you call it a massa piece? Just kidding, I find it amazing that Plant and Page were so much into American music. So part of the English invasion was Brits playing American music?
It was a weird time, American mainstream (white controlled) media was rejecting the blues, whilst UK bands were picking it up and making it their own - and then importing it back to the States!
@@AnxietyActornot that it’s a big difference, but he was 20, not 19. The story of this band is quite amazing. Their first rehearsal as a band was on August 19,1968, they had 6 tour dates in Scandinavia that lead guitarist Jimmy Page needed to fulfill as the last remaining member of The Yardbirds. As The New Yardbirds the performed those gigs in September. In October funded by Page & manager Peter Grant, they recorded their debut album, in 4 days & start to wrap up 35 hours. Jimmy Page produced mixed & edited it, along with an engineer. This amazing first album was released on January 12,1969 in the US. Their manager took the tapes to Atlantic Records, a contract was signed on November 9, 1968, & an unheard of amount signing bonus of $200,000. The band had complete control over all their music, which Page produce etc all their albums, releasing very few singles. Interviews etc. of them are very interesting, how in about 6 months they skyrocketed to such greatness.
@@sicotshit7068actually, Robert was 22 when this was recorded, I think. He was born in August of 1968 (he is SUCH a Leo! 😉) and Zeppelin III was released in October of 1970. So, depending on when it was recorded, he was either 21 or 22.
@@w.geoffreyspaulding6588 I’m always around, anything Led Zeppelin, I’m there. Thanks, I’m always glad to see those I recognize too, other great Led Zeppelin fans.
Bonzo is so under rated in this piece. Just before 2:00 , when Page goes from "seven" then "eleven", listen to what Bonzo does with the cymbals, only he was capable of such mastery drumming.
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.
Greatest live band in history!
mind blowing how 4 young English guys could take something so American and put such a powerful twist on it, despite still just being kids at the time!
Gotta LOVE THEM!! Start at album 1 and go all the way through!
Great stuff, more live Led Zep please! ❤ well, and studio versions :) just more Led Zep basically.
Thanks for the Led Zeppelin
My favorite band since 69 ❤
Nice!
They have such a great catalog of music I suggest starting with their Fantastic 1st album filled with the blues and work your way through
yes! a zapathon is always welcomed 👌
That’s a 24 year old kid singing right there. Insane vocals and charisma.
🌸 I'm a huge huge zep fan.... and I think this is one of their masterpieces.
As Robert Plant says, this is English blues.
Greetings from Canada. Inspiring music? Yeah- I buy that. Peace, love and bellbottoms.

One of the greatest bands of ALL time. Easy.

The 70’s-such a great time to be a teen.
Absolutely, awesome , my first ever concert was Robert plant picture at eleven
Can only imagine! I'm convinced was there... died but had to pay for my sins, so, reincarnated and nothing, nothing has been the same since! :(
This live version is better than the original studio version.
However, when you'll listen to 'Stairway to Heaven', listen to the studio version first.
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
Yep...they took that blues, jazz, gospel music and held it high on a pedestal! No respecting singer/artist can deny it.
Their is another version from this show. They are both great to me but the other is my favorite.
Is that the one where the security guard is so awed that you see his mouth hanging open after a Jimmy Page guitar solo.
@@heliotropezzz333 yes and the Indian woman amazed. Love that solo as well. Better to me.

Great reaction if you get a chance check out the live concert video at MSG. The Concert Song Remains The Same. Please keep up the fantastic job.
Studio or live, either way, I consider this their masterpiece
Best thing you can do for better reactions is over the ear phones
