1k GBP doesn't really sound like an affordable watch + oftentimes you have to include servicing as mentioned in video. Don't buy a vintage watch unless you know what you're dealing with - costs, grading, genuinity, servicing!
Great video, found it very informative with pros and cons provided. The omega or the Maen are my picks. I don’t mind Hamilton designs but feel like the Murph is in the same realm as the PRX in terms of saturation.
A very fair point - keep an eye out for my next video as well Ollie should be up this weekend - a long one looking at the saturation of these vintage like watches!
Excellent video, kudos. I would replace the quartz Speedmaster with the quartz blue panda Lunar Pilot. 262 khz accuracy plus a 10ths-of-a-second subdial at 3 instead of the Speedtimer’s underwhelming 24-hour subdial. Cheers.
The Hamilton Murph is the clear champ in my book. I’d also rock the Brew Metric as well. The Nodus is pretty decent, but I’m not really a fan of GMT watches at all. The Bulova Super Seville in stainless is really sharp, and I would definitely wear it, assuming the integrated bracelet is tolerable on the wrist.
@Dougs_watches As soon as I saw it 24 years ago - iconic design. How it keeps ticking impresses even me. I was set to buy the Kith edition until I saw the price...
Very good. Subscribed

Genuinity isn’t a word, bro.
I believe authenticity is the word you were looking for.

Have you looked at Casio Enticer, Edifice, Oceanus range of watches ?

@@IFlyANA The lunar pilot doesn't get as much attention as it deserves - possibly the best entry level chronograph
I would pick the Nodus
A great design - which dial would you go for?

My tag f1 is 24 year old quartz watch.
@@chrislim7976 And still ticking strong? A brilliant watch imho

I'd rather save up for a couple years for a grail watch than get a bunch of other watches...
@@VixCrush Delayed gratification is often worth it. I'm saving for a Cartier Tank at the minute and likely will be for a while
@@Dougs_watchesgood luck. It isn't easy.
Why is he pronouncing Omega as Oh-mee-gah?
