Ngl I like Sifu's bosses more than I do dark souls bosses. Every boss in Sifu feels so unique to one another yk? I love dark souls bosses, but very few times did I die to a boss in Sifu and felt like I was bs'ed lol

Great gameplay! Love all the details you put in the description. Came up with some very similar strats to these bosses myself, but also learned some new things.
I think Yang can feel overwhelming until you realize that he's just using your own character's moves. Like you said, phase one is pretty exploitable; he'll always dodge into a punishable Crotch punch combo and his parry follow-up can result in the multi-hit light punch ender that's Parry into Crooked Foot fodder. The second phase isn't much more difficult, mainly because he's still just using predictable moves against you for easy parry/dodge sequences. Ironically, Fajar feels like the hardest because he's a wake-up call for how you have to approach bosses (no more auto pilot); but he's still pretty easy once you get used to him. I'm looking forward to the Arena mode update later this year to increase the replayability; Master Mode is nice but doesn't take long to figure out.
@@AngerRanger So bloody palace? That'd be pretty cool. Tbh I feel like Sloclap needs to go back to the Absolver idea... but make it single player lol. Sifu shows that the only thing that realistically held Sloclap back was them not really understanding the online environment. That's my opinion though lol
I didn't watch yet, but I know that you played awesomely. Can't wait to watch, and... finally someone who played/recorded/uploaded Sifu in Chinese dub.
Btw, the costume you choose remind me about a beat'em up + shooting game call Rise To Honor, main character wears an undercover police clothes, so cool, keep using that clothes when you play with female character ;)

I find it ironic how you can kill mad henchmen but when it comes to the people who directly destroyed your father, dojo and life, you spare them. Story flaw imo hahaha
you don't kill most of the henchman (except when you use knifes or throw them down a balcony or something, which means you can decide to not kill ANYONE) you can see them lying on the ground in pain after you knock them out
That didn't really bother me, but the increased aggression works perfectly fine for this game since you can cancel most of your attacks with the dodge. It's a good adjustment for a higher difficulty.
Master difficulty + Faster Enemy Attacks mod + Tankier Enemies Mod = Realistic fights...and an extremely punishing game Tbh I dunno why I did it to myself...Well hey, at least I got *heaps* better. 100% the game too!
Realistic? Considering 1 well placed punch in reality would knock you out and you are playing a well trained character and fighting most of the time "trash" would make it more unrealistic. Fighting a trained guy as a dummy your lights would be off before you even realized what happend. :D but we get what you mean i guess.
But now you have played this game three times, i think you'll have more experience to play female character on Master Mode, especially the movesets and combos to perform, you can do it, Slocap just changes the AI of the game, but they can't change your speed and your reflection once you enter the game
They could have given the extra characters differnt but exact moves like the bruce lee character should have had the wang chun mixed fighting style or Ipmans original wang chun style

After Elden Ring's "i'm not done attacking please wait your turn" style of bosses, the idea of Sifu's bosses being less predictable makes me anxious.

They all get predictable, even fajar. It's just about practicing enough. Old granny is probably the most predictable by far

While Sifu obviously has way better & more unpredictable bosses than Sekiro, Elden Ring's bosses are still more unpredictable.
