@Hafijur Rahman the beauty of Bangladesh lies in it's village , nobody is interested in your cities ( because cities and City Life is almost same throughout the world) . The media is there to show you where you need to improve , if they start to show those things you mentioned (only that side which looks good), it will not take much time for your media to be corrupt like most Indian big media houses.

After partition of Akhand bharat in 1947 small section of chakma people living presently in Mizoram felt under Indian union. If you see in map you can see the chakmas living in Mizoram are living in western belt mountains(close to Bangladesh) .India recognised chakma as Scheduled Tribe and given an Autonomous District council in Mizoram. Chakma people always wanted to be with India and even hoisted India Flat at Rangamati in 15 Aug 1947 but Pakistani army came and took it down after 3 days. The chakma leaders were promised by Jawaharlal Nehru to be included in India but it never happened. Thereafter rest is history how we are still being persecuted in BD. Chakma people are in minority in their homeland now.I hope this helps .
My wife is Bengali and, been married for 8 years. We went which my first time, in Feb 2020. Food is awesome and, the people are unbelievably nice. Now my little prince Jack who, is half Bengali half African American, will be going next year!
I found it interesting women cooking looked more oriental than what I imagined to be Indian/Pakistani. Does your wife look more SE Asian like these woman do?
@@CW0123 These are Chakma people from the Chittagong Hill Tracts. They are Bangladeshis, but not Bengali. They have features common with other peoples ('orientals') from SE Asia.
@@CW0123 Firstly, the Chakma people are indigenous to the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh and are genetically closest to Tibeto-Burman peoples in Northeast India and Southeast Asia and also share genetic affinity to mainland Indians (who are stereotypically recognised as "Indian" internationally). This is why Chakma people look SE Asian (because they are predominantly of a Southeast Asian-related lineage. In South Asia, Southeast Asian-related ancestry is found at high frequency in eastern Bangladesh (e.g. Chakmas), Northeast India (e.g. Assamese) and parts of East and Central India (e.g. Munda). It's found at a lower frequency across the rest of South Asia). Secondly, the OP's wife is not Chakma, she is Bengali as he stated. Bengalis are ethnically and culturally different to the Chakma people. Bengalis form the majority of Bangladesh's population, are predominantly Muslims and most look like other South Asians (North Indians, East Indians, most Nepalese) but a minority look more like SE Asians (his wife being one example). Hope this helps.

your shows are becoming more and more of a want to see every day. thanks for so much mark, wish you the best and stay safe.
This is such an exceptional video of Mark as not every youtuber knows about the rich various cuisines of indigenous people living in Bangladesh and they remain single sided. Chakmas are one of the largest indigenous communities in number living in CHT, Bangladesh. There are more..you can also visit and explore more of the cuisine of different varieties of other indigenous communities. I hope you do that one day and enjoy. Also, the foods are literally the exotic and authentic ones that we have in our day to day life. In such a nice way represented it is!
THANKS MARK!! 🌺 it feels more amazing when i have been one of the subscribers on this channel for some years till now! 💓

I love our tribal foods. I am fond of tribal foods. 🥰🥰
Never thought chakma tribe will be there in Bangladesh too. 🥺 So nice
Chakma tribe originally from Bangladesh.
@@championfactstv8639 i thought they are a part of mizoram
I'm a Bengali from India. Love bangladesh foods too much. Wanna travel Bangladesh soon ❣️😍
@Hafijur Rahman understand Bro... Hope I'll visit there within few upcoming years
My wife is Bengali and, been married for 8 years.
@@CW0123 yes she looks more SE Asian. They are from Dhaka.
@@CW0123 These are Chakma people from the Chittagong Hill Tracts. They are Bangladeshis, but not Bengali. They have features common with other peoples ('orientals') from SE Asia.
Lovely
I'm glad that he got a chance to try out different food from different tribe! He wasn’t stuck with only Bengali food, specially puran Dhaka biriyani!! OMG big thanks to the host.
Awesome mark loving your Bangladesh videos, greetings from Englishman
Love to our Chakma brothers and sisters to make our Bangladeshi cuisine more beautiful and diverse .
