Menzies is way too emotional in both senses, he's said this himself and that he needs a sports psychologist. A good player that gets too emotionally invested to consistently play his best. He was the same at the grand slam
Cameron Menzies one of the nicest guys in the game has said multiple times he just wants to succeed so badly he’s clearly having a panic attack on the stage and the fans are jeering him that’s not on and anyone doing that isn’t a darts fan fully agree with what the first caller said
He just can't handle his emotions very well. Look at him in the grand slam against Mansell, one minute he was on top of the world and the next he was at rock bottom. Pretty sure he's said he wants a sports psychologist to help that
They were just booing him not jeering, they didn't know he was having a panic attack. It's pretty clear he has some mental issues he needs to sort out. I've been through the same myself and can easily tell
Menzies has a weak mentality, in the floor tournaments with no crowd around he still lets his emotions get the best of him. Whilst his father is unfortunately unwell atm, it doesn't excuse all the other times he's fallen to pieces when he's up against it.
There's a difference between the crowd being rowdy and the crowd taking things too far. Anyone could see he was not in the right frame of mind (no matter the cause), and they still kept going. You don't kick a dog when it's down. Also, let's not forget that every single time a Scottish person plays in London, they get it absolutely stinking from the fans. At the end of the day, the guy is clearly struggling, and when you're struggling, things like this affect you a lot more than they would usually. Hopefully, he can get some help for his mental health and be back to his old self soon enough.
His girlfriend Fallon plays & her male opponent is always booed & jeered but that's ok. If he can't cope with it either put ear defenders on or just go to another association where there's no atmosphere.
The crowds are just annoying and embarrassing . Just an excuse to get absolutely legless. Like when people jump on the World cup England footbal bandwagon
The crowds weren't bad, the crowd were actually quality when Gates checked out. I'm only against whistling on doubles. Booing is fine and they aren't going to know he's having a panic attack
The audience pay their hard earned money to cheer, boo or whatever way they decide express themselves and darts throwers have been dealing with such behaviour since darts begins so menzies state of mind wasn't crowd behaviour orientated
To be honest i had a tear in my eye when i watched him struggle and looking for an answer. Such a nice guy.

The darts crowd has been very bad since at least 2018.

Most of the people in the crowd are there for the piss up, not for the darts! Its getting worse!
The crowd were quality apart from the odd whistling
Go watch the WDF then, good luck staying awake.
The crowd weren't even jeering him. made up story

Ally has changed his tune from proudly saying he was planning on committing hate speech at Ibrox a few months ago
