Thanks. I collected all the Alberta Farm plates plus a few really old Alberta auto plates. I could keep going and collect more but my wall is full and my wife say enough 😂
1/2 cm on the mirror anyway 😂 Nice prices!! 300-400# are usually Highest per pound.. prices always suck here!! You got a buck more than the lights are here. The conversation doesn't even make the difference 🙄🤣😂 Background vs not.. we've always done better not backgrounding. The extra weight is always good, but enough less per pound that it just doesn't pencil out. Hopefully you have enough hay for the rest 🤞 Thank you for the update!!
Weaned off last Sunday and sent out a liner load of steers to Clyde. Pretty eye opening prices. Although my bills have been atrocious too. Did well this summer, had a 622 pd average, couple weeks earlier than usual for shipping. It was damn noisy here this week. Preg testing went well, only had 6 open and 7 late to ship out of 230 cows tested. Very happy for the droughted out summer we had.
@@AlbertaRanchyep, not bad for April though the end of June calves. Lightest was 510, heaviest 767 pds. All angus cross calves. Group of 52 blacks weighed 614 pds and brought 3.69$.
I didn't use any creep feed. I took the creep panel off the feeder and had it across the gate of that corral so calves could come in and eat hay without the cows. When we weaned them I fed the cows right in front of that corral and 2 hours later came out and about half the calves were in the corral. Closed the gate on them and only had to sort the rest.
Glad the sale was good.👍❤️🇨🇦
Me too 😁
Cow goat is my favorite animal.
Goats work better than cows in many parts of the world.
Nice looking calves
Thanks 👍
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
That’s a great sale day average! Glad your work paid off.
Finally....lol
4:30 as soon as there is something to go around I swear it becomes a game. 😂😂
Let’s hope these prices continue into next year.

Thanks, I give them all the credit. 😁
Your steers looked pretty dam good...the white stuff is pretty much gone around here
Thanks, just went white, we were brown for a long time.
Good looking heifers. How many cows per acre can you run in your area?
Thanks, it's all over the place, we run bush, sloughs, cultivated. Couldn't give you a number.
Looking good,we use Gelbvieh bulls on angus cows for a little better calf growth and we are really liking it so far.
The original cows I started with were gelbvieh angus cross. Worked well.
Your calves look awesome! And congratulations on the sale.
Thank you!!
@@AlbertaRanchAnd I think that guy left a couple of manure piles on my farm too. Let me know when you find him
