When my husband would remark that the bull was looking at him funny again, I knew it would almost time for it to go. We had Limousines, but our kins Gelby bulls were always quite good natured.
I love angus highland calfs!! I worked here in Kentucky with both breeds separately and the cross calfs. We also had an angus bull much worse than him. We were all glad to see him go. Great work!
Wow Crawford....not sure of your specialty, was it the High Jump or High Dive, but glad you were quick. Reminded me of when I was about 18 (a long time ago) and our Holstein Bull who was a massive guy decided I was fair game one day, and like you I had to run. I can still feel his breath when I think about it! As you say you always have to keep your wits about you. If nothing else think on the hits you will get for the video 🙂 Thanks again and hope your enjoying your break.
A bull would only do that once with me, and he'd be burgers before you could say "Do you want fries with that?"! Good reaction to a close call, but learn from it - you won't always be so quick and nimble my friend. Time for AI. Big love from Ireland!
That boy is a liability, he only needs to be lucky once you need to be lucky all the time, its quite unusual for an Angus to be so volatile. Keep mind your dad or Kev might not be able to move as quick as you.
we bought an AA at perth a number of years ago ,the most dangerous bull we ever had sure it had been doped got rid of it after a couple of years before someone got hurt
Bulls scared the bejeezuz out of me too. Ours were bad tempered Herefords and my great uncle had a mammoth Holstein bull which intimidated just by his size. I am glad you are agile and got out of Euro’s path. 👍👍😁
Hi Crawford Euro is a fiery one, but after working with pure Holstein bulls, ,you can tame him trust me. Just remember what you were doing when you were introduced to the ladies 😂 I would firstly try spending more time with him (hard I know) but anyone for 5-10mins talking to him each day and also set up a radio in the building, so he gets used to people talking and the louder sounds. Keep the videos coming 👍
Great video Crawford yet again, yeah always need your wits about you with livestock and bulls especially, look an uncomfortable dive over the fence 👍🏻🫡
It would be interesting to know whether Euro is showing the same temperament traits as his sire and siblings, or if he is an anomaly. Would you as a buyer ever feed this back through the mart to the breeder so that they could use that information in their breeding programme? One assumes that as a breeder, you don't want to get a reputation for a bloodline of flaky bulls and so gathering this sort of information would be useful allowing you to close a particular branch of a bloodline if required (I know there was work done on this by the Limousin breeders but not sure if the same happened in other breeds)
I had a Holstein bull sneak up on me from my blind spot, it's amazing how fast they move. Fortunately a few of the older girls in the herd protected me, they couldn't stop him but they slowed him down so I was able to slip through the fence. It scares the 💩 out of you for sure!! I love videos like this, thank you for sharing and God bless. ♥️😊
If Euro was mine he'd be getting the .308 then hung from the loader! We've always had great luck with really docile Angus, I can't be dealing with aggressive beasts.
My grandfather had shorthorn bulls which were very untrustworthy; one of them battered my grandfather. I always thought angus bulls were more docile but I am hearing differently, more and more.
Im so very sorry for your grandfather being injured! 😔 Those of us that handle these large farm animals daily must always be aware of their power and that they can be unpredictable. I hope your grandfather was able to recover and is doing well! We have raised Black Angus and Shorthorns for decades. Shorthorns are generally FAR more docile than Black Angus. However, ANY breed can be aggressive and unpredictable given a number of things that come into play while caring for them. My best wishes your way in hopes that the bull that attacked him has been removed from the herd.
I had registered highland,,my bull was a son of sunset limited edition x sunset Mellon all. Black watch riveal,,,at 7 years old he taped over 3200 and was the gentle giant,I could halter him and lead him away from a cow in heat, now them Angus they are some crazy hard to handle fence breaking nut bags
The question to ask yourself is what if it was your dad or the hired help who aren't as young or agile as yourself is it worth the risk there's only one place for a bull that shows aggression same as a dog that bites
Crawford, that was some spritely manouvering! How has Euro’s stud work been otherwise? Is there absolutely no way to take his orneriness into account? Has Euro had similar moments before? Thank you.
He knows he’s the boss now. Once the cows are PD’d ours run back with the cows until calving. Might help rather being away from all the other cattle, getting all excited once there’s new arrivals
On a woven wire type fence like that use the claws of a claw hammer to tighten the wires when they get stretched like that. Claw each side and twist as necessary.
So euro and percy are both for going. Will u replace them like for like in breed or will you just go for the 1 breed of bull as in 2 Charolais or 2 Angus . A cross bull or cow should be got rid of . You can never trust them .
I had to do the same as you and dive over a gate with Billy the bull chasing me out of a pen once. Scary when he hit the gate! I was only 16 and not long left school (many moons ago!)
I would score the high jump a 10. Bulls can be very dangerous with all their weight and muscle. Percy may need some of the blue pills for men but in a big bullous style.
That bull would be down the road, gone burger - many farmers here in NZ will only keep a bull until they are 3 years old - they get to big, to much testosterone and get plane mean - to dangerous and have to go
I love the comment section thank god for logical people iv seen city people talk about it’s all how u treat them… 🤦🏻♀️ nope if it’s got balls it’s dangerous even the docile ones can flip on a dime
Nothing for it but to send him to the abbatoir. A bull like that will only get worse as he gets older, especially when he knows he only has to drop his head and he'll put you running. If a bull thinks he's the boss then you are in trouble. Life's too short to be dealing with an animal like that.
So one positive is that it makes for great RUclips footage although you defo don’t want a belt off Euro. Get that into a RUclips short as your escape makes for good viewing 🙂
Nose ring and chain will stop him from charging. When lowers the head trips on chain. We buy young bulls an have a pen of up to 20 at a time. Getting in the pen to clean the stalls certainly makes a good fighting argument to go AI but still, better results with bulls. Been hit afew times over the years so it get easy to nose ring them. Its just better not to mess with a bull's attitude.
So you got lucky this time with Euro, might not be so lucky the next time, Hope people pay attention to this video, never trust a bull. You mentioned ifarm we farm, he has a very scary story about a bull, thankfully both off you are around to tell the stories, may othesr have not been so lucky
Hi all you should always keep your eyes on a bull as you know never trust a bull any time should always put something between them and you keep Safe we like your videos
Wednesday 26th of July is 9 months from today! You see those cowboys and clowns in the rodeo’s in the states annoying those bulls. The football and the secret sloshing helped you get over that fence 😂😂😂😂
Every cattle farmer knows when a bull charges you run like hell to the nearest fence. Been there, done that. Just try not to scream like a school girl. LOL Any bull will charge given the right circumstances so always keep one eye on the bull anytime you're in the pen with it.
your welcome to come and look at our bulls if you looking for another Angus, ours are certainly not like yours! all big quiet lads here. we are based just outside Forfar so not far from you.
Yeah never trust a bull no matter how quiet they are one farm it's on had a bull pen with gates opening from outside and bulls had chain halter and into its ring and was a few feet long worked a charm oh and the worst was a fresh calved heifer she moved like lighting and bowled me for 6
It's time for euro to go. Not worth taking the chance with him. You probably get as much for him at abattoir that would buy another one with a better temperament.
Definitely get rid of euro an Angus should be trusted and I know you should be wary around bulls and cows with calves etc but he’s too mad!! Pity about Percy tho he’s left some cracking calves!! 2 new bulls for you
Euro has to go Crawford he’s done that once he’ll do it again and again next time u are buying a new bull go to the breeder and check out the bulls history if you know what I mean stay safe great video too 👌
My blood ran cold watching you move quick as lightening avoiding that bull, cold sweat my friend!!!
Great work!
New contender for the highland games with that jump as already said always have that escape route never be the brave one
Wow Crawford....not sure of your specialty, was it the High Jump or High Dive, but glad you were quick. Bulls are bulls think they’re nice? Ugh no
Grouchy bull. Good for you for watching him and responding so fast.
That bull will always remember who you are. He’s just waiting for you to make the mistake of trusting him.
Get rid of that bull ..!! Next time won't be so lucky not worth it. And besides I want to keep watching your videos. Lol . Stay safe xx
Bull is a NUT CASE. 🤣🤣🤣 . NO!!! He was just telling you not to keep him away from the COOS 🤣. Well done 👍👍👍. Thank you for sharing. Be safe 🇨🇦
Especially when females are in season geez
That boy is a liability, he only needs to be lucky once you need to be lucky all the time, its quite unusual for an Angus to be so volatile. Keep mind your dad or Kev might not be able to move as quick as you.

The girls screamed when the bull charged, tears all-round until they saw you were OK.
You make the high jump in the Olympics lol 😂
Banging tunes and not forgetting that banging moves . That's what telly handlers was built for they Love it, Spot on video mate. 👍👍👍
Great video Crawford yet again, yeah always need your wits about you with livestock and bulls especially, look an uncomfortable dive over the fence 👍🏻🫡
Congratulations on 11k subscribers! Happy to be a newbie from sheep game 😁
Nah - you've moved quicker than that before: when you dropped a 50p, bent down to pick it up and it hit you on the back of the neck.
Naughty boy euro 💶

Well he's got a head shaped like WARF? Walnut shape and a natural helmet and could be in Star Trek as an extra 😊
Busy busy man sounds like he loves it though
Thought I’d check you out after Tom mentioned your channel, subbed 👍👍

Best laugh all week well done 😂
I wasnt laughing 🤣
Nice bit of railing hurdling Crewford, should go to the Calgary Rodeo where they run and hide from mad bulls!
If Euro was mine he'd be getting the .308 then hung from the loader!

L.o.L. That Bull didn’t want you , he was just playing !

You nearly booted Kev when flying over the gate
Are you raising your own replacement heifers? Just curious after you described the farm to store loop.
The question to ask yourself is what if it was your dad or the hired help who aren't as young or agile as yourself is it worth the risk there's only one place for a bull that shows aggression same as a dog that bites
That was some dive over that fence 😂 genuinely thought you were going to slip before you got over it! He’s one scary lad!
Nutter
Great stuff again, yeah no had that buzz for a while and gets heart pumping
All Angus bills are like that!
Keep safe with Euro. If he eventually has to go he will make masses of
BREXIT 🍔 BURGERS.
So glad you weren’t injured!
Have you compared the cost of purchasing and maintaining a bull to artificial insemination? Is that done in the UK?
Crawford, that was some spritely manouvering! How has Euro’s stud work been otherwise? Is there absolutely no way to take his orneriness into account? Has Euro had similar moments before? Thank you.
Be careful! And quick.
I shouldn’t laugh but seeing you jump the gate had me laughing 😜
Never seen you move so fast but glad your ok but Euro is happy to be out with some company.
Me neither
He knows he’s the boss now. Once the cows are PD’d ours run back with the cows until calving. Might help rather being away from all the other cattle, getting all excited once there’s new arrivals
Aye thats an idea 👍🏼
Parkour on a farm 😂 Your fast .
I always found the Hereford was the quietest in the main.
On a woven wire type fence like that use the claws of a claw hammer to tighten the wires when they get stretched like that. Claw each side and twist as necessary.
All of your mates are wondering why you've never run that fast on the pitch. lol
So euro and percy are both for going. Will u replace them like for like in breed or will you just go for the 1 breed of bull as in 2 Charolais or 2 Angus . A cross bull or cow should be got rid of . You can never trust them .

It’s a wise man that’s always wary of a bull
How long have you watched him for
I would score the high jump a 10. Bulls can be very dangerous with all their weight and muscle. Percy may need some of the blue pills for men but in a big bullous style.
That bull would be down the road, gone burger - many farmers here in NZ will only keep a bull until they are 3 years old - they get to big, to much testosterone and get plane mean - to dangerous and have to go
Hi Crawford I'd get rid of Euro ASAP because he's just not safe to have on the farm in my humble opinion, apart from that enjoyable vid as always.
Get rid of that bull. It is way too dangerous. I cattle farmed for 30 years. When any of them got aggressive they went to next sale.
What a whimp that happens a lot
I don't remember any but the very worst bulls getting slaughtered for aggression, after that's what bull poles are for.
Yeah make him someone else's problem. If he's crazy stay out of his way. He stopped so he's not that far gone.
AI advice from old lady USA rancher. Cheaper to get cows bred. Easier on fences and your heart rate.
I think 💭 Laura gets bullied by the other 2
I love the comment section thank god for logical people iv seen city people talk about it’s all how u treat them… 🤦🏻♀️ nope if it’s got balls it’s dangerous even the docile ones can flip on a dime
Hope your not too sore, impressive hurdle over the fence😅👍
Nothing for it but to send him to the abbatoir. A bull like that will only get worse as he gets older, especially when he knows he only has to drop his head and he'll put you running. If a bull thinks he's the boss then you are in trouble. Life's too short to be dealing with an animal like that.
Why are you not posting any videos since December 23
Get rid of him you can never trust any bull but once they start getting aggressive only a matter of time before someone gets hurt end of
The bull charged me. How much did it cost?
Nice dive over that gate!!!
It was a sore one
@@CrawfordsFarm1 ouch I can imagine.
Great video Crawford that was a close one with euro he’s a bit of a nut job
"tie him to the forklift" I will not recommend, then you just need to flip over the forklift again a bit later.
🤣
So one positive is that it makes for great RUclips footage although you defo don’t want a belt off Euro. Get that into a RUclips short as your escape makes for good viewing 🙂
You should try a spread a bale for bedding up takes the time out of the job

Regarding the door on the new shed, doors should be fully opened or fully closed, please don’t ask me how I know this 😱😱😱😱😱😱
Gid vault ower the rails!, nixt step the olympics, yi dun week.
Holy poop you ran so bloomin fast! Hope you don't hurt too much after diving over the rail.
The Highland coos ain't too keen on Euro are they! I was laughing my head off as they were running away from him.
Holy duck we had a bull like that your in the risky business
No Bull! Thanks for sharing
Bet thats most exercise you've had for a while jumping over that barriers 😂
Never knew i could jump that high
@@CrawfordsFarm1 Aye it was just a shame about the landing nae very graceful.
9.35 - beef burgers
Keep the bulls with a donkey or two, my cousin has done that with his multiple bulls for years. Keeps them calm in the sheds.
What isan Abitwar?
So you got lucky this time with Euro, might not be so lucky the next time, Hope people pay attention to this video, never trust a bull. You mentioned ifarm we farm, he has a very scary story about a bull, thankfully both off you are around to tell the stories, may othesr have not been so lucky
Craziest Angus I seen 😂

i am not farmer yet but a bull goes for no matter what you move or you are toast
Aye thats why the camera wasnt in hand
Wednesday 26th of July is 9 months from today! You see those cowboys and clowns in the rodeo’s in the states annoying those bulls. The football and the secret sloshing helped you get over that fence 😂😂😂😂
Don’t know how they do it
Our colonial cousins lack common sense 😂😂
Nice escape.
Aww so thats where they went crawford i thought they were “Gone gone “

You’ve got to say good bye to that hazard bull. He’s not domesticated. I don’t want to see you get hurt. 😢
It's time for euro to go. Not worth taking the chance with him. You probably get as much for him at abattoir that would buy another one with a better temperament.
when it comes to bulls, descression is the better part of valour
