it seems more likely the inspiration for Rudy was Red Tornado rather than Vision since Red Tornado was the leader of the teen titans, at least in the cartoon. Also if you want to keep things simple and compare 1:1 the Marvel version of Superman is called Hyperion and he's been an Avenger.
