Lady and the Tramp Bella Notte - Spaghetti Scene

  • Опубликовано: 4 окт 2024
  • Tramp takes Lady for an Italian candlelit dinner at Tony’s Restaurant. The comedic characters of Tony and Joe, two Italian chefs, lighten the tone of the film, even though they aren’t on screen for too long. It is Tony who sings the song ‘Bella Notte’ as the two dogs eat their spaghetti and meatballs. The music is by Sonny Burke and the lyrics are by Peggy Lee.

Anyone else just love how Toni treats the Tramp and Lady so well? And how he talks to the Tramp like a person? It's so endearing to see how well they understand each other as close friends, rather than the typical person talking down to an animal like a lowly pet.

The remake didn't even get a cinematic release because Disney knew it wouldn't sell that well. Lady & the Tramp is a small-scale story and a live-action adaption doesn't make it more exciting. With that said, most of the Disney remakes have been mediocre anyway. Very disappointing. They're all too bright and colourful, sometimes even more-so than the animated versions. The whole idea of going live-action is to give the existing material at least a slighly darker and grittier spin, I would've thought.

Correction: the ORIGINAL Disney knew how to tell a love story. The Walt Disney company from the good old days of traditional animation had it down to an art!
Then Disney's Nine Old Men passed away after good old Uncle Walt and as the years went by, the magic withered away as well. More and more traditional animators left the Disney company and they took the Disney magic with them. Now, it's just corporate excess and cheap live-action rip-offs!

Back in the days when no one could afford tvs in every room, my big brother carried the TV upstairs for me (remember peeps, this was before flat screen tvs 😬). I remember feeling tiny in my Mums big bed but so safe and snug. Its only now im an adult I realise my family had no tv for those few days because they looked after me by putting this tape on for me and I watched it back to back for days. It was one of my favourite films growing up. My Mum always read Cinderella to me every night too. You cant beat a good love story . . . .
