In my opinion, the value is actually pretty decent but there is still some deprecation it is still going through.
I also do not think it looks outdated one bit, however, there are many who would disagree.
I truly enjoy this truck. It is my daily driver and it really does have authority on the road.

I got a 2009 Chevy Tahoe 4.8 with 311,000 miles still run and drive great. We go Cross country From Florida to the West Coast every year, Tahoe with the mileage take it like a champ no problem. One of the best car I ever owned.

Regarding the cracked dash, using fiberglass is not a good method. The components are too dissimilar.
If the dash really is ABS plastic, the best method is to use "solvent welding." I restored the ABS dash in my '79 AMC Spirit this way. Over 30 cracks and it's undetectable if I don't tell you. Use acetone, acetone/ABS slurry, and ABS mending plates and it'll turn out great. Once the solvent has evaporated, it's all ABS.

I'm very happy with my 06 Tahoe with relatively low miles and its "outdated" technology. I don't care for the new "up to date" vehicles with all of their crap on them just because folks can't take their faces out of their phones/screens and actually drive the freakin' car to stop crashing into one another.

@@ImChrisDeDecker I've got my stock stereo in my vehicle. I was fortunate to locate NOS iPod adapters that plug in with the XM tuner which gives both XM and iPod and an Auxiliary port as well. I'm not going to pay for XM when I've got my own collection in the car already. So I've got my music that way and the steering wheel controls handle the iPod as well. I've got a Pioneer 1.5 DIN stereo in my 93 Astro with the Pioneer iPod adapter that the stereo controls as well. I just leave both iPods in the cars for months at a time.

We basically have the same lineup of cars at the moment, pretty cool. That's a relatively simple setup. Figuring out a suitable way to keep the features you like with a world of tech that is ever evolving is difficult sometimes.

Just putting it out there that I have had 2 Tahoes and they have all said it gets 14.8 MPG and I live in the country with open roads. The mpg does not reset so I like to think all Tahoes say that at this point.
