I'd say just imagine this is how Connors lost his arm initially bringing the Symbiote in, which he then reunited with when he later went to work for Oscorp. So really, it doesn't change much to this pitch, but wanted to clear that up here.

There's zero chance of this happening, but I'd love to see a Spider-Man game based on the early Lee/Ditko comics. Set it in the 60s, have the glorious flowery dialogue of the early comics, have a simplified suit and gadgets, and have all the limitations and hurdles early Peter Parker had. Be able to run out of web fluid, have the police and public sometimes hate you, and tie it all together with an adaptation of the classic storylines from the silver age. Spider-Man: Amazing Fantasy. Boom.
I would love for a scene where Peter develops the early web-wings. It gets played up as this really cool reveal where Peter jumps from a roof, the button prompt shows up, and after deploying Peter crashes straight to the ground and says something like "Ow... okay, back to the drawing board..."
one problem with the Harry thing, it was confirmed by Harry himself, that him and Peter have known each other longer than highschool, Harry says when after Peter is stabbed by Kraven, "C'mon Pete this is nothing, remember in 5th grade when you-"

When it comes to things like that, I always refer back to Monsters Inc. / University, where the same sort of continuity error occured. Mike says to Sully in Inc. that they met in grade school but in University they meet for the first time.
It’s okay man. The game itself makes these types of errors. In Miles Morals Peter says him and Harry became friends a week after Ben’s death. It could be Peter told Harry a story about 5th grade and that’s what Harry is referring to.
This is pretty insane because me and my friends were literally talking about this game today. A prequel of Peter's early years. Villains would include Connors (as a supporting cast until he goes Lizard), Scorpion (is created because of Jameson still), Shocker, Prowler (either Hobie Brown or Aaron Davis. Leaning towards Aaron and we could see a more classic look before he upgraded his tech), first meeting with Black Cat, Mysterio, Kingpin, and Spider Slayer being the main bad guy here. Being young, Peter would just be starting out and would be in high school meaning supporting cast would be MJ, (I'd like Gwen but they already said she doesn't exist), Flash, Harry, Liv, Randy. In this universe Connors would be a teacher at his school. Sidequests would be: A Thief in the Night - Where Prowler and Cat are both stealing clues for a big heist and Spider-man is caught in the middle of them New Hero on the Block - Mysterio side quests where you're initially thinking he's an ally but he's really causing the disasters for a quick pay day. Fire in Hells Kitchen - Interfering with Kingpin's drug ring - would include Ox and gang and would lead to confrontation with Kingpin but wouldn't be able to arrest him, showing how hard he is to pin down but still stopping his plans. Sneaking into bases and breaking up meetings. Daily Haggle - Jameson gets more and more fed up as the game goes on and starts the program to create Scorpion. This backfires and you have to save him just like the PS1 game. Involves chasing Scorpion through the city to beat him to reaching Jameson. Shocker would be a villain that pops up during random crimes during the day - he's still new so his tech is pretty lowkey but it's a cameo to how he appears in the ultimate spider-man game. Big story moments would be with Smythe, Lizard, Tarantula (will be one of the reasons the forces that be pushes for the Spider Slayer program), Chameleon framing Spider-man with the help of Smythe. There of course will be Spider- Slayer bosses that lead up to Smythe wearing the spider-slayer armor in his bout with Superior Spider-man. Since Spider-man is so new and he's being framed it'll help set the stage of a third act where he's basically up against the world; but through sheer perseverance he clears his name and stops Smythe. This game does need to show Ben dying maybe pre-cutscenes for the set up. Have him start in his wrestling gear before making his actual suit of course. Make it look more like Ultimate's suit and less techy. MJ should find out he's spider-man mid way through the game. He should be a photographer so pic side missions obv. but that's enough from me lol.
I’d love to see an adaptation of an earlier mention event in the timeline, where Peter is framed by Electro and has to go on the run. It’d be nice to see the game book end with Peter finally leaving the Bugle after getting sick of their slander
Honestly, I would like to see a Spider-Man Origins trilogy. The first one would be this idea, the second will take place 1 year after the first, and it would explore Harry, Peter, and MJ's relationship with one another, and around the end of the game MJ and possibly Harry would find out that Peter is Spider-Man, and the main villain will be Tombstone. In the 3rd game, we'd have the biggest time jump of 5 years, 2 years before the original, and we'd al the set ups for Spider-Man PS4, and all the events that took place, including all the villains from the sinister 6, but the main villain would be the kingpin, and we'd see some of the events that took place in the prequel novel from the original game.
My ideas Marvel's Spider-Man: Early Days Set 8 years earlier before MSM1 it takes place a month after Peter has gotten his powers (still in his wrestler suit) and you go toe to toe with villains like Kingpin, Lizard and Sandman, Shocker, Electro and Scorpion just as examples. I'm not too sure what the story would be for my idea but that can be up to other people to decide. Peter would be voiced by Josh Keaton (I don't mind Yuri's young Peter voice but I think Josh is a better pick) Crusher Hogan would be a tutorial boss. The map you use would also look less detailed and would be a paper map drawn by Peter himself
Here's my take: Marvel's Spider-man: Sophomore Year Set 1 year right after that flashback sequence with Harry finding out his mother d*ed (Year 2). The first people you fight are a group of bank robbers led by Flint Marko and Aleksei Systeveich (before they become Sandman & Rhino). The story is Spider-man trying to take down Kingpin and the Enforcers while he's still in school.
Normally I’d be getting bored of SM origin stories however this sounds incredible. The Insomniac Spider-Man is easily my favourite take on the character so I’d love to see how his story begun.
Wow, so basically the Arkham Origins of Spider Man. I love the idea of having Lizard as the primary antagonist. I like the idea of a secondary antagonist being Kingpin. Its basically like TASM 1 but better. Edit: send it to Insomniac
Since Marvels Spider-Man 3 is said to be the last game in the franchise, I think insomniac should make a Spider-Man Origin game before they make the third game where like this it focuses only on Peter in his earlier years as Spider-Man, plus with the fact that the insomniac universe switches up the Spider-Man lore and their characters traits a bit, it’ll be cool to see their take on Peter’s origin, the suits they could add in the game would be cool too! And if they make it, they need to make it a much longer game than Marvels Spider-Man 2, at least around the same time as Marvel’s Spider-Man 1’s time length.👍
This is an awesome story. I like how Lizard losing his memory is included because it doesn’t interfere with the overall story of the games. I like how other villains like Shocker and Vulture are included.
Imagine the opening swing is him chasing uncle bens killer like in raimis’s spider-man 1 and then hunting him down with all the dialogue. I think this would be a thrilling and exciting start to the game just like the rest of this franchise, and it would have an appropriate tone. I don’t think the game should start without being bit. Maybe the chase scene could be just a flashback and we start with a rookie spider-man a couple months in. I just think it’s a clever way to start with a great opening swing.
We have a origins game, then its a series, and then he joins the avengers, and before you know it, thanos controls his mind and he kills miles morales, leaves his mask in his garage, and the thunderbolts kill him by shocking him (it’s explained his suit is resilient to electricity yet still he dies easily)

In Spider-Man Miles Morales Peter has Miles go through training sessions and at the end of the sessions Peter has Miles fight a hologram version of The Vulture who Peter implies is his first villain in the franchise. The Trophy is also called “Petes First Villain”. But genuinely either way still a great story & I would love to see Insomniac turn this into a game. Great job again man

I don't blame you for pitching for an insomniac spider-man origins and don't mind the idea of it either, its just I also don't think it's not going to happen due to the try's and (almost failes) of Sony's two versions trying to remake a successful Spider-Man film. We've seen his origin in many concepts through the 90's and 2000's. I don't think we need a remake of origin for a while whether that be in movies/tv shows/games, cause we basically know the gist of his story as it is.

I would have the story have kingpin as the main villian, with shocker, vulture, electro, and alaster Smithe as the secondary villians, black cat as a side character who helps with the spider aspect part, but betray us at the end, Conners be a help to spidey not Peter and turn into lizard a little after the half way point (like doc ock and venom) have the police not on spideys side, have gwen as the love intrest with mj liking Peter but not acting on it and instead start dating Harry, Have captian Stacy as the police captian hunting spiderman but coming around on the end but moving with gwen after she almost dies but he leaves a good word with the replacement captian (Yuri). Also, Peter would start working at the bugle and would get some help with MJ for it, which will make her want to be a reporter.
Honestly before the big finale Marvels Spider-Man 3, it would be awesome to see a young Peter Parker as Spider-Man. They could focus on Peter and MJ's relationship. His earlier enemies and rogues, as well as critism from New York. How Miles, as a kid, started looking up to Spider-Man.
This is a cool idea have the avengers be mentioned and have Tony be referenced. Perhaps a cameo as well. If they could get the guy who voiced him in Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to do the cameo that would be great.
That sounds like a good way to follow up with Kingpin. Since Nelson and Murdock have been teased in Spider-Man 1 and 2 so having a Daredevil game would be awesome.
Having a prequel game would be a nice little place holder for between Spider-Man 2 and 3, kinda like Miles Morales was a nice little place holder between 1 and 2
I love it but for side missions, id make Peter run into the Classic villains in Spiderman ps4 for the first time, but they'd be wearing their original uniforms Shocker would be in his classic padded costume, robbing an armored truck. His boss fight will be akin to the Ultimate game's fight, where he can have his gloves webbed up to stop his blasts and leave him open. Since shocker is new to this as well, his gloves aren't as powerful, explaining why he's so easy and sloppy Vulture would be robbing a jewelry store and be a 2 parter. First part is a chase mission. Vulture is too fast for our new Spidey, so vulture ends up escaping, but not before peter snatches a feather off and is able to find out how the wings work. In the second part, peter develops the Wing Jammer (which appeared as a collectible backpack item in the first game) which will be a gadget added to the wheel. It will be used to jam Vultures wings, but also can be used to jam security systems (think of the Freeze Override in Arkham City). After you jam Vultures wings, peter is able to catch up and unlatch his wings. Vulture will fall and peter will debate saving him from hitting the ground but his good heart will take over and he saves Toomes and leaves him for the police. Vulture will then compliment Spider-Man on figuring out how his wings worked, and will not allow that to happen again next time they meet (peter stated in the original game Vulture immediately upgraded his wings to prevent it) Scorpion would be a DLC mission, revolved around the daily bugle. His story would be unchanged from comics as it still holds up. Scorpions suit would be about the same, but lacking the red lenses and his tail would be more circular instead of sharp Rhino would be through a police dispatch during thr story. Peter would overhear and head down to a construction site and be petrified of rhino. You'd engage in a fight, but rhino can't be hurt due to his armor. A cutscene would then play where peter grabs his horn and is flung off, accidentally breaking off a chunk (again, a nod to the backpack item). Peter would be hurt, but now is able to analyze the armor to find a weakness. He finds out the armor has weakpoints and can expand when exposed to heat. Peter develops the new gadget Heat Webs, which can melt certain surfaces to access hidden areas. This is then used for the rematch to weaken rhino. After the boss, Peter will be angry at rhino for the destruction, but rhino will just refuse to talk and only say "I just want out of this suit" before he's taken away by swat team. Peter will then realize not all his villains are evil and have had hard times Electro I'd also make dlc. Hes the first super villain peter has faced with powers so he deserves his own story. Mysterio again will be third and final dlc. His story is also worthy of a separate piece of content Chameleon would be accessed via a phone call from jameson saying Spiderman is blackmailing civilians. We go down to the location given and see a ditched spiderman costume. Our spider sense keeps going off, meaning he's nearby. Using our spider sense we have to pick him from the crowd of angry civilians chameleon has riled up. Pick the wrong civilian, he'll flee into another crowd and you have to track him again. Once you pick the right person, chameleon pulls a knife and takes a hostage. A qte to web his knife from him and save the hostage commences. Pass it and peter will save the hostage and punch chameleon so hard, his makeup smothers off and we see his iconic white face. Peter will web him up and leave him hanging for the police
I mean... we got the DLC+ sized Spider-Man: Miles Morales after the first Spider-Man game and we are rumored to be getting a DLC+ sized Venom game which may be launching around the same time as Marvel's Wolverine (maybe even alongside it like how the Spider-Man Remastered launched alongside the Miles Morales game). If Miles is the main Spider-Man in Spider-Man 3 (alongside Peter and Cindy in smaller roles), a DLC+ sized Insomniac Spider-Man: Origins game starring Peter might be the perfect companion piece.
If Insomniac do plan on making a prequel of Marvel's Spider-Man, it should be Peter's early days as Spider-Man instead of an origin story. Take place after Harry's mom death.
I say a great pitch for your Spider-Man PS4 Origins Story and nice you have Vulture, Shocker & Lizard as the starter villains and I always figured the first two I mention are always the first major foes Spidey always clash with. :)
Just like Batman: Arkham Origins. I would love to see Kingpin as the main villain along with Silvermane, Alistair Smythe, maybe Bullseye, and many others.

It's a cool idea for a DLC but I doubt it would ever happen as a full game as I'm pretty sure at this point with Marvel Spider-Man 2 released no one wants to go back and play as an inexperienced Peter Parker who doesn't have any of his gadgets or tools that he has in the later games.

Yes!!! Insomniac, listen to us, me especially!!! We deserve and NEED a game of your Peter Parker just starting out in high school! So what if we’ve seen the origin story again and again, so what if we know what happens, so what if after playing no one was surprised by any “plot twist” or whatever! We got Arkham Origins for Batman, now we need Spiderman Beginings(ok title needs works but you get my point). It wouldn’t even have to be a long game, it could be roughly the length of the Miles Morales game, you can use the same city layout from the first game or second game, you could just have it start after Uncle Ben’s funeral and skip all that stuff we know about. Make it about Peter getting Spider-Man off the ground and how he copes with the fact that despite all he does, the city isn’t 100% behind him thanks to JJJ like we saw in that flashback! Have it be about Electro getting created and him being the first super villain he fights like he said he did in the first game. You could have Wilson Fisk as a secondary antagonist and maybe have Shocker or Rhino or Vulture make an appearance with a fight too! But for the story, include Peter struggling to maintain his friendships with Harry and MJ, include an event like a school dance or something he wants to ask MJ to or introduce us to this universe’s Liz Allen and show how Peter used to have a crush on her and how their relationship didn’t work out. There’s so much you could do with this game! There’s absolutely no reason not to do it so get on it asap Insomniac!

Okay this is great and almost exactly how I would’ve envisioned an origin story for this character, but I have a few notes. For one, no iron man, no avengers. If this is gonna be a classic Spider-Man origin story, it has to be only him. The avengers are mentioned very rarely in the previous games and when they are it’s nothing but slight mentions and cameos. It’s also not in character for this Peter to have his motivation for being a hero even remotely related to iron man, and even the rest of your pitch has nothing to do with them, so no avengers, just Peter being a loser. On top of that I think it makes Peter way too egotistical and unlikable to start off with, because if Peter is unlikable, the story and the character wont grip you as hard. Secondly, Harry’s point in the story. Needs to have met way before highschool. It will allow us to see more of that inseparable friendship we know and love, and it can help develop peters confidence, which will work great in the date with MJ at the end. Third, I think that Uncle Ben should be going after Peter when he storms off, where he then gets shot. It’s way more of Peters directly as apposed to it being as coincidental as it is that the one specific criminal just HAPPENED to find his house and kill Ben. Finally, I think that Peter shouldn’t be as much of a loner as he is portrayed. When he’s in highschool, yes. But with any Spider-Man origin story, he has to learn to be more open to people and he needs to get new friends. That’s should be explored throughout the middle. As far as the friend trio goes, I think MJ should join in, giving us a good look at how spunky she was in Highschool compared to her now, and then Harry realizes the romantic chemistry between the two. Then that leads to the end. I personally think that on the date Peter should pull an amazing Spider-Man and hit her with the web spin to impress her, going back to that confidence Harry gave him, and give us that classic “Peter love interest finding out he’s Spider-Man” thing. As far as the side missions go, I think it’s be cool to have smaller side missions where Peter goes up against his classic baddies. For example, Rhino, Electro, Scorpion, Big Wheel, Ect. It would add to that classic villain of the week feel that’s so unanimous with old school spidey. On top of that it would give us some cool fights we never got to see that were mentioned in the other games. Other than that, I love your pitch for an origins game had the same idea for a little bit now, so it’s so cool to see someone make a pitch for it!
Wasn't the whole excitement when Spider-Man ps4 came out that it's an adult Peter Parker and not a high schooler? Why do so many people suddenly want a prequel?
I would've had the games start at Peter seeing his Uncle Ben lying dead on the ground and going after the man who did it as a prelude. Then, have an introduction similar to TASM 2 the game explains everything and then start the main story at Ben's grave with Peter, Harry, and MJ 2 years after the prelude. Then after that, I don't know. But I would bring Hobgoblin into the story. A Goblin Nation story. Which would build up the trust between Spidey and Yuri Watanabe and have Mary Jane eventually find out Peter is Spider-Man.

The first one would be this idea, the second will take place 1 year after the first, and it would explore Harry, Peter, and MJ's relationship with one another, and around the end of the game MJ and possibly Harry would find out that Peter is Spider-Man, and the main villain will be Tombstone. In the 3rd game, we'd have the biggest time jump of 5 years, 2 years before the original, and we'd al the set ups for Spider-Man PS4, and all the events that took place, including all the villains from the sinister 6, but the main villain would be the kingpin, and we'd see some of the events that took place in the prequel novel from the original game.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Early Days
Set 8 years earlier before MSM1 it takes place a month after Peter has gotten his powers (still in his wrestler suit) and you go toe to toe with villains like Kingpin, Lizard and Sandman, Shocker, Electro and Scorpion just as examples. I'm not too sure what the story would be for my idea but that can be up to other people to decide. Peter would be voiced by Josh Keaton (I don't mind Yuri's young Peter voice but I think Josh is a better pick) Crusher Hogan would be a tutorial boss. The map you use would also look less detailed and would be a paper map drawn by Peter himself
I honestly prefer that. Since it’s more like Arkham origins. Plus I feel like it fits the video game format more.

Marvel's Spider-man: Sophomore Year
Set 1 year right after that flashback sequence with Harry finding out his mother d*ed (Year 2). The first people you fight are a group of bank robbers led by Flint Marko and Aleksei Systeveich (before they become Sandman & Rhino). The story is Spider-man trying to take down Kingpin and the Enforcers while he's still in school.

Normally I’d be getting bored of SM origin stories however this sounds incredible. The Insomniac Spider-Man is easily my favourite take on the character so I’d love to see how his story begun.

Since Marvels Spider-Man 3 is said to be the last game in the franchise, I think insomniac should make a Spider-Man Origin game before they make the third game where like this it focuses only on Peter in his earlier years as Spider-Man, plus with the fact that the insomniac universe switches up the Spider-Man lore and their characters traits a bit, it’ll be cool to see their take on Peter’s origin, the suits they could add in the game would be cool too! And if they make it, they need to make it a much longer game than Marvels Spider-Man 2, at least around the same time as Marvel’s Spider-Man 1’s time length.👍

This is an awesome story. I like how Lizard losing his memory is included because it doesn’t interfere with the overall story of the games. I like how other villains like Shocker and Vulture are included.

Imagine the opening swing is him chasing uncle bens killer like in raimis’s spider-man 1 and then hunting him down with all the dialogue. I think this would be a thrilling and exciting start to the game just like the rest of this franchise, and it would have an appropriate tone. I don’t think the game should start without being bit. Maybe the chase scene could be just a flashback and we start with a rookie spider-man a couple months in. I just think it’s a clever way to start with a great opening swing.
We have a origins game, then its a series, and then he joins the avengers, and before you know it, thanos controls his mind and he kills miles morales, leaves his mask in his garage, and the thunderbolts kill him by shocking him (it’s explained his suit is resilient to electricity yet still he dies easily)

Hey man great video this earned you a sub, Also just wanted to ask incase you may have forgot. In Spider-Man Miles Morales Peter has Miles go through training sessions and at the end of the sessions Peter has Miles fight a hologram version of The Vulture who Peter implies is his first villain in the franchise. The Trophy is also called “Petes First Villain”. But genuinely either way still a great story & I would love to see Insomniac turn this into a game. Great job again man

I don't blame you for pitching for an insomniac spider-man origins and don't mind the idea of it either, its just I also don't think it's not going to happen due to the try's and (almost failes) of Sony's two versions trying to remake a successful Spider-Man film. We've seen his origin in many concepts through the 90's and 2000's. I don't think we need a remake of origin for a while whether that be in movies/tv shows/games, cause we basically know the gist of his story as it is.

I would have the story have kingpin as the main villian, with shocker, vulture, electro, and alaster Smithe as the secondary villians, black cat as a side character who helps with the spider aspect part, but betray us at the end, Conners be a help to spidey not Peter and turn into lizard a little after the half way point (like doc ock and venom) have the police not on spideys side, have gwen as the love intrest with mj liking Peter but not acting on it and instead start dating Harry, Have captian Stacy as the police captian hunting spiderman but coming around on the end but moving with gwen after she almost dies but he leaves a good word with the replacement captian (Yuri). Also, Peter would start working at the bugle and would get some help with MJ for it, which will make her want to be a reporter.

This is a cool idea have the avengers be mentioned and have Tony be referenced. Perhaps a cameo as well. If they could get the guy who voiced him in Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to do the cameo that would be great.
U should make a daredevil pitch that takes places after this game that follows up on the Kingpin storyline
That sounds like a good way to follow up with Kingpin. Since Nelson and Murdock have been teased in Spider-Man 1 and 2 so having a Daredevil game would be awesome.
Having a prequel game would be a nice little place holder for between Spider-Man 2 and 3, kinda like Miles Morales was a nice little place holder between 1 and 2
I love it but for side missions, id make Peter run into the Classic villains in Spiderman ps4 for the first time, but they'd be wearing their original uniforms
Shocker would be in his classic padded costume, robbing an armored truck. His boss fight will be akin to the Ultimate game's fight, where he can have his gloves webbed up to stop his blasts and leave him open. Since shocker is new to this as well, his gloves aren't as powerful, explaining why he's so easy and sloppy
Vulture would be robbing a jewelry store and be a 2 parter. First part is a chase mission. Vulture is too fast for our new Spidey, so vulture ends up escaping, but not before peter snatches a feather off and is able to find out how the wings work. In the second part, peter develops the Wing Jammer (which appeared as a collectible backpack item in the first game) which will be a gadget added to the wheel. It will be used to jam Vultures wings, but also can be used to jam security systems (think of the Freeze Override in Arkham City). After you jam Vultures wings, peter is able to catch up and unlatch his wings. Vulture will fall and peter will debate saving him from hitting the ground but his good heart will take over and he saves Toomes and leaves him for the police. Vulture will then compliment Spider-Man on figuring out how his wings worked, and will not allow that to happen again next time they meet (peter stated in the original game Vulture immediately upgraded his wings to prevent it)
Scorpion would be a DLC mission, revolved around the daily bugle. His story would be unchanged from comics as it still holds up. Scorpions suit would be about the same, but lacking the red lenses and his tail would be more circular instead of sharp
Rhino would be through a police dispatch during thr story. Peter would overhear and head down to a construction site and be petrified of rhino. You'd engage in a fight, but rhino can't be hurt due to his armor. A cutscene would then play where peter grabs his horn and is flung off, accidentally breaking off a chunk (again, a nod to the backpack item). Peter would be hurt, but now is able to analyze the armor to find a weakness. He finds out the armor has weakpoints and can expand when exposed to heat. Peter develops the new gadget Heat Webs, which can melt certain surfaces to access hidden areas. This is then used for the rematch to weaken rhino. After the boss, Peter will be angry at rhino for the destruction, but rhino will just refuse to talk and only say "I just want out of this suit" before he's taken away by swat team. Peter will then realize not all his villains are evil and have had hard times
Electro I'd also make dlc. Hes the first super villain peter has faced with powers so he deserves his own story.
Mysterio again will be third and final dlc. His story is also worthy of a separate piece of content
Chameleon would be accessed via a phone call from jameson saying Spiderman is blackmailing civilians. We go down to the location given and see a ditched spiderman costume. Our spider sense keeps going off, meaning he's nearby. Using our spider sense we have to pick him from the crowd of angry civilians chameleon has riled up. Pick the wrong civilian, he'll flee into another crowd and you have to track him again. Once you pick the right person, chameleon pulls a knife and takes a hostage. A qte to web his knife from him and save the hostage commences. Pass it and peter will save the hostage and punch chameleon so hard, his makeup smothers off and we see his iconic white face. Peter will web him up and leave him hanging for the police

I mean... we got the DLC+ sized Spider-Man: Miles Morales after the first Spider-Man game and we are rumored to be getting a DLC+ sized Venom game which may be launching around the same time as Marvel's Wolverine (maybe even alongside it like how the Spider-Man Remastered launched alongside the Miles Morales game). If Miles is the main Spider-Man in Spider-Man 3 (alongside Peter and Cindy in smaller roles), a DLC+ sized Insomniac Spider-Man: Origins game starring Peter might be the perfect companion piece.
Another side mission I would add would be photo assignments for the Daily Bugle when Peter has to work for J. Jonah Jameson to support his Aunt May.
If Insomniac do plan on making a prequel of Marvel's Spider-Man, it should be Peter's early days as Spider-Man instead of an origin story. Take place after Harry's mom death.

It's a cool idea for a DLC but I doubt it would ever happen as a full game as I'm pretty sure at this point with Marvel Spider-Man 2 released no one wants to go back and play as an inexperienced Peter Parker who doesn't have any of his gadgets or tools that he has in the later games.
A good concept. But it’s a bit incongruent to me that Peter looks up to Iron Man here a lot, since he actually really wanted to be like Otto after he gave a guest lecture.

Yes!!! Insomniac, listen to us, me especially!!! We deserve and NEED a game of your Peter Parker just starting out in high school! So what if we’ve seen the origin story again and again, so what if we know what happens, so what if after playing no one was surprised by any “plot twist” or whatever! We got Arkham Origins for Batman, now we need Spiderman Beginings(ok title needs works but you get my point). It wouldn’t even have to be a long game, it could be roughly the length of the Miles Morales game, you can use the same city layout from the first game or second game, you could just have it start after Uncle Ben’s funeral and skip all that stuff we know about. Make it about Peter getting Spider-Man off the ground and how he copes with the fact that despite all he does, the city isn’t 100% behind him thanks to JJJ like we saw in that flashback! Have it be about Electro getting created and him being the first super villain he fights like he said he did in the first game. You could have Wilson Fisk as a secondary antagonist and maybe have Shocker or Rhino or Vulture make an appearance with a fight too! But for the story, include Peter struggling to maintain his friendships with Harry and MJ, include an event like a school dance or something he wants to ask MJ to or introduce us to this universe’s Liz Allen and show how Peter used to have a crush on her and how their relationship didn’t work out. There’s so much you could do with this game! There’s absolutely no reason not to do it so get on it asap Insomniac!

Okay this is great and almost exactly how I would’ve envisioned an origin story for this character, but I have a few notes. For one, no iron man, no avengers. If this is gonna be a classic Spider-Man origin story, it has to be only him. The avengers are mentioned very rarely in the previous games and when they are it’s nothing but slight mentions and cameos. It’s also not in character for this Peter to have his motivation for being a hero even remotely related to iron man, and even the rest of your pitch has nothing to do with them, so no avengers, just Peter being a loser. On top of that I think it makes Peter way too egotistical and unlikable to start off with, because if Peter is unlikable, the story and the character wont grip you as hard.
Secondly, Harry’s point in the story. Needs to have met way before highschool. It will allow us to see more of that inseparable friendship we know and love, and it can help develop peters confidence, which will work great in the date with MJ at the end.
Third, I think that Uncle Ben should be going after Peter when he storms off, where he then gets shot. It’s way more of Peters directly as apposed to it being as coincidental as it is that the one specific criminal just HAPPENED to find his house and kill Ben.
Finally, I think that Peter shouldn’t be as much of a loner as he is portrayed. When he’s in highschool, yes. But with any Spider-Man origin story, he has to learn to be more open to people and he needs to get new friends. That’s should be explored throughout the middle. As far as the friend trio goes, I think MJ should join in, giving us a good look at how spunky she was in Highschool compared to her now, and then Harry realizes the romantic chemistry between the two. Then that leads to the end. I personally think that on the date Peter should pull an amazing Spider-Man and hit her with the web spin to impress her, going back to that confidence Harry gave him, and give us that classic “Peter love interest finding out he’s Spider-Man” thing.
As far as the side missions go, I think it’s be cool to have smaller side missions where Peter goes up against his classic baddies. For example, Rhino, Electro, Scorpion, Big Wheel, Ect. It would add to that classic villain of the week feel that’s so unanimous with old school spidey. On top of that it would give us some cool fights we never got to see that were mentioned in the other games.
Other than that, I love your pitch for an origins game had the same idea for a little bit now, so it’s so cool to see someone make a pitch for it!

Just an Idea. I’d rather take stories in the present day from this universe than an origin, but I thought it’d be fun to explore the idea.
I would've had the games start at Peter seeing his Uncle Ben lying dead on the ground and going after the man who did it as a prelude. Then, have an introduction similar to TASM 2 the game explains everything and then start the main story at Ben's grave with Peter, Harry, and MJ 2 years after the prelude. Then after that, I don't know. But I would bring Hobgoblin into the story. A Goblin Nation story. Which would build up the trust between Spidey and Yuri Watanabe and have Mary Jane eventually find out Peter is Spider-Man.
