- We all know that some influencers take advantage of people for the dopamine rush that comes from social media popularity. The latest horrific example of this is the streamer Natalie Reynolds. Let’s talk about it.

That girl never outgrew high school bullying. Also, she took no accountability and tried to lie what she did as if we didn't notice.
Forget who, but their is a case of an influencer posting all their crimes and current location to social media... seeing his defense was amusing, like the officers would use social media videos they posted as evidence.
I worked with two "adults" that both went to the same highschool together years before. They never outgrew the bullying either because they decided to talk and laugh about "how fun they used to be" because they shoved a boy in the trashcan every day till he finally just started jumping in for them. Their words not mine.
Needless to say everyone in our department hated them even MORE after that.
this isn't even high school bullying. This is Junior High behavior.
@user-vl6dc2mc8hyour comment is sweet, and I hope people are able to see your heartfelt, good intentions and that they don’t say mean things because they believe differently than you.
When I was in 7th or 8th grade, my father disowned me. My dad had told me over the phone, “you know what? I’m done, I’m so done with you. Don’t ever call or text me again. Don’t ever show up at my house. I don’t want anything to do with you ever again.” I was so hurt that I was basically numb for several weeks. I didn’t laugh, or cry, or anything really at all for those several weeks. I would sit in class and just count the bricks on the walls.
I had a best friend whose family went to church every Sunday (mine didn’t). I spent a lot of my weekends with their family, so I was going to church with them on Sunday mornings.
The sermon that was able to break through my emotional shutdown was about God’s love for us, how He is our Heavenly Father, how His love for us is unconditional. After hearing that sermon, I accepted that my father and I were never going to be on good terms, even if we ended up being involved again later on. While that realization was painful, I didn’t feel the hurt like I had been. I felt this total calmness, this amazing serene peace. I felt like I was going to be okay, and that it was okay that things weren’t working out with my dad. They never really had, but I always had this painfully optimistic hope about him, even though I always got hurt and treated like it was my own fault that we didn’t have a good relationship.
I genuinely believe that there is a Higher Power, whether that be God or The Universe or whatever anyone calls it. I think we have different names for the same type of connection.
Anyway, sorry for the long reply. I just appreciate what you commented and I wanted to share that I have felt what you described. I think it’s sweet that you want to lead others to those super positive, uplifting experiences. I hope you are well! ❤
women dont grow out of their highschool phase, ALL WOMEN, ALL
If law enforcement or fire department have to get involved with these things, the streamer should be required to pay all expenses instead of the tax payers.
Yes!!! 👏
When it comes to what the government SHOULD do, hardworking taxpayers are the furthest thing from their mind. Government thinks that taxpayers are no threat because they have too much to lose by rising up against shitty behavior.......they have jobs, bills, families. So they will just sit there and take it. The saddest part is, they're right.....😢

Ah yes banning people from social media because they are clowns. Are you voting for Biden once or more than once?

She reminds me of the school bullies that would quietly push and push and push until you snapped in defense and then they start being loud claiming there was no reason to act in such a way so the teacher would come over and give the bullied trouble instead of the bully themselves.

yes, I absolutely HATE women like this. I was a shy kid growing up and I ALWAYS saw the little girls in class with me harass and bully the "bad boys" until they snapped at them and go running to the teacher. this is why u can't #believeallwomen. they start doing this evil lying $hit YOUNG. and the stupid teachers always love to favor the little girls all dressed in their pink tutus so they get positive feedback for being a bi@%#. If you recall the youtube channel 'daddy o five' (or whatever the hell it was called), I think it ended with arrests for the adults involved on abuse. So there are instances where the incentives of youtube result in monstrous behavior. And even if stuff is staged there would be the problem of imitators. Ages back, people filming stunts with guns resulted in an imitator killing her boyfriend when it turned out a desert eagle was more powerful than they predicted. A fake robbery for youtube got someone shot a couple years back (Timothy Wilks).
The predictability of public spaces is what allows you to navigate them. They aren't just messing with strangers. They're messing with the social order that keeps you safe. And there are more cases where authorities have been called. In some cases repeatedly. I hate it. The whole thing is punishing society for its good manners in not breaking their legs.

Thank you for your balanced, compassionate and informed take Brett. I've watched several commentaries on this particular incident & you are the first I've seen to have recognised how problematic and stigmatising it is to flippantly make statements pertaining to unaliving oneself and MHI. For those of us who struggle to find the motivation to exist at times, it completely devalues our experience/s.
This reprehensible individual and her sychophants appear to thrive off of exploiting the vulnerable; from children, those without stable housing, animals, to those living with various health challenges. Every individual deserves to feel safe. I hope Natalie's cronies are also exposed as they too are complicit. To laugh at or mock another person's distress, trauma or suffering falls far short of moral and ethical standards.
If the law won't hold them accountable, we as individuals need to by speaking up.

Social media is only one half of the problem. The other half is the lack of accountability and responsibility. Because there are no consequences for their actions, they believe that they can act like this and are even validated by their viewers.

I’ve talked so much about how so-called pranks are actually cruel and even dangerous. People don’t seem to have any concern for others anymore 😅
This is not a prank, none of this crap is a prank. It's criminal behaviour. This was in Texas, so what I was able to look up
"Texas Penal Code - PENAL § 22.05. Deadly Conduct
(a) A person commits an offense if he recklessly engages in conduct that places another in imminent danger of serious bodily injury.
"
Yes! Thanks for the definition! Some streamers and influencers seem to forget that and try to get away with it by calling it a “prank”. Glad they can (& hopefully will) be held accountable for this shameful behavior.
I think pranks that disgust people or frighten them, or build up their hopes, like fake winning lottery tickets, are all based in the most demonic sadism
"Prank" has suddenly become an excuse for sociopathic, narcissistic people to torture others and get praise for it.

That is such a coward of a woman, she should be held accountable and put max sentence
@Guilty_Crown Women typically don't handle accounatibility very well.
They take it way too far and then are surprised when they face actually consequences for their reckless behaviors.
These kinds of people are a danger to innocent civilians. Cause they rather have clout then to care about another person's well-being.
If that woman has a mental disability and she coerced her into jumping in then she is 100% liable for any injury sustained to that woman
Behaviour like this should have consequences. also to a point where “influencers” go to jail.
Same with the Phenomenon with Pranks. Assaulting someone random in the streets for Clicks, and things he gets away with it, with the “excuse” thats this is just a Prank.
Pranking should be extremely shamed
It's not "pranking", it's criminal behaviour.
pranks are fine, harm is not
There’s a major difference between pranking and being a criminal. I pranked my friend by putting a rubber roach on his air vent. Quick scare, easy laugh.
Pranking is fun. You laugh and have a good time. The moment it should be shamed is when it becomes the cause for harm to others.

Love your show Brett, when I get the baby down for bed I crack a beer and kick back and watch your show. Thank you for covering topics that are not only entertaining but not mainstream. You go girl! 🎉
It's so sad that people use mental health as like a catchphrase. I remember there was this girl in high school (she is sweet, don't get me wrong) but she said she had social phobia, but she didn't even have that, she went to parties and everything. I was struggling A LOT with social phobia, I couldn't even join my family to go to a restaurant because I was that scared. I could barely go anywhere except my school. And I HATED taking the bus, with a strong HATE. I was always sweating and looking down because of the anxiety at the time.
Also, I always joke about my mental health, cause I have bipolar disorder, and I'm joking about it cause it's a way to get away from it. But now it's a trend to have a mental health disorder... like what? I would do anything to get rid of this, even though medicine has helped TREMENDOUSLY. It's so sad what society is going through right now. Can't wait for the future.............
she is clearly more worried about the fact that she got caught then the fact that she almost killed someone
Death occultists find tons of humor into tricking people into death. It's the only humor they know.
"go take a long walk on a short pier" is one of my favorite old school "screw you"s, and you're telling me saying that to someone is attempted murder now? ...soft ass society we're in.
It isn't even a question of the girl offering someone who can't swim $20 to jump in the lake. How about putting the blame where it belongs: On the woman that jumped in the lake? Why does she have no responsibility for her own actions? If you claim she can't be held responsible because she's plainly stupid, then the girl offering the money can make the exact same claim to "innocent by way of stupid"
@@_XR40_ while yes, it is the ladies fault she jumped in as she believed it would be safe, its the same thing as if an amusement park claims the rides are safe when they clearly aren't. she clearly offered to go in with her and keep her safe. separate from whos fault it is that the lady jumped into the lake, the girl INDEPENDENTLY chose to abandon a person who was in danger. regardless of whos fault it was that the lady got in the water, the girl still left her to drown.
She didn't even come close to killing anyone, a grown woman jumped in knowing she can't swim. Darwin award level of stupid.
There was a girl who did that in NYC, and she was with a guy filming her. Cops arrested both of them at gun point because the guy was getting hostile
and charged them both with indecent exposure and child endangerment, because there were children within the isle as well in the store. The girl had a thong & see through bra.
Another situation in NYC with another girl, she was twerking her butt at a 5-year-old child. Cops arrested her and charged her with sexual assault to a child.
Other people tried to intervene and prevent the cops from arresting her. In the end, 7 people got arrested and charged, and the child went to CPS.
CPS found out that the child was adopted by the girl when cops told CPS the girl twerking at the child while in a thong bumping the child's face with her butt, as took the child away.
The girl and her family are permanently banned by CPS from ever adopting again. The state also stopped all of her state payments they were giving the family to take care of the child.
In the end, she was brought up on 19 charges against the child, when police went to this girl's house and did even more investigations.
During the investigations by the detectives, it was found out that it was a trend from TikTok. Where people would be almost naked and twerking
in faces of children to get reactions from the surrounding crowds and the child themselves as they were being twerked at.
Now, NYC passed a stricter law that now allows the state agency to investigate anyone adopting a child to have their social medias checked online,
the agency has been given permission to take photos of people adopting children, and doing a reverse check on the internet and social media
before they are allowed to even proceed to have permission to adopt a child. CPS said ANYONE in the family no matter who they are if they have anything
that adopting agency don't like on the internet aka social media, the family will not be allowed to adopt and will be permanently banned statewide from doing so,
as well as that, family will be reported to city agencies if they view a child is being endangered.
CPS considers twerking at a child, child endangerment, as well as many other behaviors from adults towards children.

Your commentary is taking me to my younger years....i am so happy for you that you can express yourself on media....i put it in writing......we have similar opinions.....but (and you might disagree) there is no way in "hell" i will ever believe in a religion that makes me spend money.....i am an atheist......i respect peoples believes, i will never forced them to think otherwise, its yours and yours alone, but if i have to pay for it then i need a signed document that i can go to a place that does not exist, its a no from me.....Also your passion and the ability to have an actual conversation is ground-breaking.i hope you will impact people in a way that they can reflect on them selves
Like I always say, clout is one hell of a drug. And if you can't swim, don't jump in!

Commenting again about the shift I’ve seen as a teacher. I was made fun of during a lunch duty one day and in years past the rest of the kids would’ve been scared or sad for those students because they know it’s bad. Instead they laughed right along with them. The youngest kids in the room were 8. I felt like they only saw me as a real life TikTok.
Wow, I am so sorry 😢 even though they’re kids, it never feels good to be made fun of! It’s honestly heart breaking how the current generation is turning out. I have 2 children of my own (3 and 5) and I have them enrolled in a virtual private school (basically home school except she has a teacher teaching her!) but she has lots of friends at church and softball. The other day she was trying to play with her friends, and the little girls locked her out of the playground (it’s fenced) and told her they didn’t want her to play with them. The way she came to me totally heart broken absolutely broke me.
My daughter is headed to GCU this fall! Thanks for pushing us all to do better!
Fines & criminal charges….
This “influencer” shit needs to end.
Social media is so toxic. The age limit needs to be raised. This is like when cigarettes were first introduced and everyone (even children) were allowed to smoke.
I blame not only social media as a whole, but specifically prank RUclipsrs. Those of us that grew up with RUclips saw the success of these senseless kids that ran around saying iTS jUSt A prANK brO, and unfortunately, it stuck with kids like her.
Does a respectable dock dive, then comes immediately up and treads water. No problem there.
yep this is sensationalized BS for the outrage culture
Yah it looks faked to me. People who actually can't swim are terrified of the water. She knows how to dive immediately comes up and starts talking to her in a normal tone of voice. Someone who truly couldn't swim would be flailing around the water and completely panicked. But if she truly couldn't swim why would you jump in? What would be your plan after you are in the water?
@@squiggs1002 the person who dove in the river was mentally unstable
That is exactly what I was thinking, this video is fake lol 😂
Exactly! As if she can dive but cannot swim. Not buying it one bit.
Brett, I love your work. I love what you stand for. I love all of that. As a new high school grad, I would not go to GCU. It's a "Christian" university, but not in the way you think. They're progressive Christians and one of the top party schools in the NATION. And it's not really private. They don't even require you to go to church or be Christian to get in. Would not recommend, they're fake. I've seen it firsthand and heard stories from my sister's Christian friends who go there.
Thank you for mentioning this.
I wonder if there are any major universities in Arizona that aren’t party schools. I also remember one time I was taking an Uber ride home from ASU’s west valley campus. My driver told me about this time he had to pick up a few students from GCU, and was surprised about how many female students were scantily clad. He expected that from ASU students, but not GCU students.
@@grahamturner2640 The only party school that I am aware of is ASU, and their polytechnic campus is quite focused on academics. Even UA is a more serious school. I am not sure about NAU, however, but it does turn out loads of liberal fruitcakes. It is probably a bit of a stretch to call GCU a party school, but maybe a cultural christian (small C) school? Arizona Christian University is definitely not a party school.
That last comment saying she'd be a registered sex offender if she were a man is spot on. So far past the realm of reasonable behavior.
i was just listening to this while working and the sponsorship transition was so smooth that i thought she was studying in that gcu college and you were reading the college's campaign page 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My eleven-year-old sister would be horrified by this shit.
She thinks she wants six figures. In reality she just needs one. A father figure!
Oh my goodness. I’m middle aged and I can’t cope with these airheads who have nothing better to do than wreck peoples lives! She should definitely be arrested for what she has done, particularly with these poor children and vulnerable people. She is a menace to society.!
This influencer and "prank" era NEEDS to end
Many influencers have negatively contributed to society.
she should be arrested and charged for attempted murder, these people are a blight on society.
Yes definitely
It’s like videoing it somehow causes a dissociation with reality, consequences blindness, not able or willing to care for others and somehow can only think of themselves no matter what happens.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Kick just bans this influencer for a week.
Should be banned for life and rot in jail
I am just waiting for Brett to knock down her coffee.
I love the excitement.
Good job.
Unbelievable that nowadays, when someone is hurt or close to a life or death situation, people don’t jump in immediately to help. They just take out their phones and document everything going on
Appreciate you Brett. Surviving Hollywood with the help of a wise mom. So happy for your engagement and marriage. Thank you for renewing my faith in young people.
Do not go to GCU if you want to pursue a teaching degree. I've been working in education for 8+ years, and GCU REFUSES to let me use my own classroom for student teaching and will not allow me to use my years of teaching experience to count toward student teaching. As the primary breadwinner of my family, I went to GCU Online with the understanding that it would be more flexible for my family, but that has not been the case.
I signed another 2 year contract at my school, and GCU's response was to tell me to QUIT my job in 2 years to do student teaching. Doing so would put me in financial ruin. Don't make the same mistakes I made, DO NOT GO TO GCU.
They really need to put an end to monetization of videos like that. The lack of morals of some of these people is very infuriating and sickening!
They need to be charged, taken to prison. They are deliberately causing a stir and innocent people are getting hurt. Then police and fire department are having to use their resources to contain the situations, it's disgusting and a waste of time and money
I love these videos and i love how she talks about them, but girl those transitions... im just waiting for you to start with one. this one is wild though.
Is anyone else getting really sick and tired of influencer culture, or is it just me?

i dont know about whether she is all there, but the streamer didn't push her in that video and she dived better than most ppl i know who can swim lol. Anyways, still bad I just don't know why they are exaggerating.
But it’s “content”….
@@zaq1337 which is sickening. But I'm thinking who is more sick mentally? The one who does these crazy things or the people who view and or follow them? If they have no audience they actually have to go get them real jobs .
She’s a homeless woman with developmental delays. Clearly she’s in a desperate enough situation to believe that 20$ would be worth the danger. Even if she’s responsible for part of this situation, I still think it’s fucked up of that streamer and all her friends to take advantage of someone who’s clearly not doing well.
When i was in high school i was riding in a car with a few of my classmates, they weren’t really friends but i was riding with them because of some group thing we were doing at the time… anyways these were some pretty well off kids. I was one of the few that didnt come from the gated communities (this is socal btw… and I think that’s relevant because its telling of how socal kids have always been raised) but they drove past some older woman i think and i guess they had some issue with that car because they decided to drive up next to them and dump a full large soda out the window… throwing it on their car and driving off and laughing. I thought it was pretty gross even as a kid back then who was always eager to fit in. Meanwhile i have some family members that come from some broken homes that would absolutely do the same thing. The common theme is a lack of empathy towards others whatsoever and finding the most scumbag behavior and mean things to just be entirely hilarious to them.
These two groups of people from opposite sides of the class spectrum have one thing in common: uninvolved parents. Yeah with the well off kids they have far more access to better education and resources of all kinds but their parents usually just use their money to offload the “burden” of having to raise their children… and usually they both have multiple divorces in common too. So… kids become pawns and their needs put last as well as showing some pretty ugly behavior in front of their kids to emulate.
But nowadays even decent people arent showing up to parent as much anymore because they HAVE to work or because when they’re there… theyre on their devices instead of being involved in their kids lives. And they give them full reign online… its pretty gross. But all that to say… these kinds of kids have been around for a very long time… its just getting more and more rewarded by society because of social media algorithms… its BS… we keep talking and talking about it but nothing ever ever changes…
She better have been arrested or I will be disappointed. What she did was basically attempted murder!
lol how is it attempted murder?
no, they didn't force the woman to jump into the water, that woman needs to take responsibility for her own actions just as much as the influencer
@@saigyl9149 She's mentally ill, you weirdo.
It's definitely attempted murder. And it's all on camera. Her lying and conspiring w her friends to convince a women to jump in a lake, then confess that they knew the women wasn't in her right mind.
Idk how ppl don't understand how many ppl are in jail for exactly this type of thing.
@FreePigeonSecond degree murder isn’t premeditated. Just saying.
I have a "friend" who keeps telling me they "want to shoot themselves" or "kill themselves" etc constantly just because their school ends in 4 days which is "too long to wait." Bro. That is not okay, it's disgusting to say that just because you're tired and you're being overdramatic. Is what I want to tell them. It's difficult, though, because I'm just a kid and most kids my age isn't mentally mature enough to understand what they're doing and won't grasp why I'm annoyed with them, and rather deal with the situation properly, they'll drop me and gossip with their friends online about how mean I am for one statement.
I have a suicidal parent, none of my friends know of course, but how do you think that makes me feel when she's complaining about how "bad" her life is and then saying she wants to shoot herself? Or stab herself with a knife? Just because she's tired?
I understand how frustrating this is. When I was young I lost my father at 12 years old. I was going through a lot but tried to put on a brave face. One of my best friends would cry to me every day and tell me she would cut herself because she had an argument with her mom. The reason? She was 12 and her mom wouldn't let her date a 17 year old. She would say the same thing "I want to kill myself!". It was incredibly frustrating.
An older friend explained it in the best terms possible. My world was a lot bigger then hers, so her problem was very small to me. Her world was half my size, so what seemed like a small problem to me, was huge for her. It's all about perception. It might be frustrating, but you cannot change someone's perception. Only life can do that. Unfortunately our world's got bigger at a much younger age.
