I also remember listening to these wonderful radio mystery programs when I was a child, too. This is better than watching TV.

If you fall asleep, t's a win.

D P what I do when I fall asleep on an interesting story is that I go back to where I left off until I finish listening to the story.Since I wake up 3 or 4 times during the night. I finish a story per night unless I don’t like it then I go to the next story.

Pam Bell I see a lot of listeners doing what I do, that is listening to the stories to fall asleep. And I thought I was the only one. I started doing these about 5 years ago and now every night I put on my head phones and I’m asleep in less than ten minutes.I started listening to the old radio dramas from the 30s 40s and 50s until I heard just about all of them. Now I have an endless supply of stories.

Now a picture of a cruise ship gets twisted at the final moments.
I have this sneaking suspicion you're trying to make somebody seasick.

dud you just earned a subscriber! i wish i grew up in the 70s. luckly, im ive spent these past 5 or 6 years watching movies and listening to music from that time. why just the other day, i watched The Godfather. then i listened to Werewolves of london by Warren Zevon, More then a feeling by Boston. AMAZING

I grew up in the seventies, and it seemed pretty horrible at the time, but it's become more interesting in retrospect. You don't know what you've got till it's gone, to quote that great seventies philosopher Joni Mitchell.

To add to the comments about the 70s... i lived through them and it was not all good and not all bad. Some places better than others. In some ways better than now and in some ways worse.....

Those radio waves from yesteryear are still reverberating of the walls of the dome. On a quiet night , if you listen closely, you can sometimes hear them in the whispering wind.

It's a good story...love these old radio programs, but, even with the different accents, the voices of the male and female açtors in this episode are too similar.

These are fun, but most of the acting and writing is just lame. It's not high-quality stuff, but it is OK to fall asleep to.

Formed in 2014 in Phoenix, AZ, ShowMeGod is more than just five people on stage with instruments, it is a Monster Show of sadistic proportions. Like a poisoned stew of Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, and Rob Zombie, ShowMeGod features elaborate stage props, pulsing audio and video effects, Hollywood-quality masks and costumes, depraved dancers, delirious devils, buckets of blood, and HORROR! With brain-bashing songs like “Nazis Vs. Strippers” (now an eye-popping music video directed by Grammy-nominee Larry Elyea), “Get Your Creep On,” and “Pom-Pom Girls of Horror High,” ShowMeGod's high-octane Halloween party is a 24-hour rave to the grave, 365 days a year. Every concert is a costume party, and YOU can join the slithering crowd of monsters in makeup as the band tours in support of their first LP, titled “Songs of Heartache, Rebellion, and the Loss of God,” dropping in 2017. It's a Creep Show. It's a Demon Dance. It's THE GREATEST INDUSTRIAL HEAVY METAL HORROR SHOW in the world.
