Craziest action yet with Jetskifishing!

My latest adventure on the new 2022 Sea-Doo FISH PRO Trophy and three other Sea-Doo FISH PROs. Fishing in Auckland, in New Zealand, it is the spring workups where nature hunt together in a feeding frenzy.
The Gannets are spectacular to watch, they dive in to the water in search of food at speeds of up to 100 kph. The Dolphins hunt the bait fish beneath and the bigger fish are also amongst the action for us to catch.
This is one of our most exciting fishing environments, plenty of underwater action captured too!

Great vids would be great if you could run pass us what set up, fish n reel size, size hooks and plastics your using. Do you have any preference for different daylight conditions
Cheers for watching, for my soft bait reels are usually 3000 or 4000 series. I usually fish 20 to 60 metres of depth for Snapper, using 20 pound multicoloured Daiwa X8 Braid with 30 pound leader. Many videos will show and discuss what bait I use, I have used Gulp scented baits for years, main 6” Grubs or Eels and use 1 to 3 oz weights depending on current and all my fishing is drifting.

Ordered my 2022 from JFK Puke 2 weeks ago, cannot wait for it to land and get out on it. You make waiting really hard with your awesome vids mate. Props to you. Have you done much from west coast? Port Waikato or Manukau harbor? Also, what is the rod/reel combo you're using for big softbaits?
Great to hear you too have a. FISH PRO coming, always good to hear people enjoying the vids 👍 I don’t get out West as I am so hooked on the East fishing from BOP to Cape Reinga… I use Daiwa gear, from the Saltist series up to the Morethan Branzino for the bigger fish.

The rod and reel is Daiwa… the reel is the Daiwa Saltist 4000 MQ spinning, with a Daiwa Coastal 70M Rod.

The FISH PRO ST3 Hull is super stable and yes for me it is safe to stand on one side. I often fish with my daughter and we are both positioned with all our weight on one side of the FISH PRO 👍

The audio sure is impressive, I use it often riding to and from my fishing spots. Unfortunately during my videos if I use it the video risks being blocked due to royalties etc. You will love your Trophy, have you taken delivery of it yet?

what are your thoughts on the saltist mq cause i am thinking of getting one
Hi Josh, so far so good, looks very similar to my original Saltist. I am yet to catch any monsters with it,… I do notice the drag is much quieter than the previous model though.

Is the trophy worth the extra money?
Sure is! It’s feature rich, the dash functionality alone is very cool, it also includes audio, large touch screen Garmin sounder, advanced dual battery system, live well system . North American spec Trophy also includes anchor and swivel seat, Australasia includes a Road Cover.
Shame the BRP designers considered open/blue water fishing to be too rough for the seat pole base/structure...😔
How did you manage to get the new 2022 Fish Pro? I thought they are not due in the country until December.
