Hi, is sound quality much worse on the bluetooth than on the proper DAC/AMP? I have Aune X1s but i order these Edifers mainly to use them on BT. Thanks in advance for your reply!
No works fine without dac i tested to my LG tv and my pc you can connect them without any cables if you have smart tv, smartphone with Bluetooth without any sound quality loss
@@jcweiz09 a DAC for Bluetooth yes but then again you cant transmit loseless data via Bluetooth so source > outboard DAC > speakers would be better if we’re talking about hifi
@@kinkywinkyrinkydinky There's already bluetooth tech feature from qualcomm supported devices called bluetooth aptx HD which supports audio format with 24-bit 48Khz with up to 576kbps data rate. Hi I have to buy 2.0 speakers for laptop. I have seen edifier presonus mackki Bose pioneer etc but never seen in any store.the indian market is full of Sony Samsung LG etc . I have Sony bdv e4100 but I am not satisfied with it,as it is for movies . So for best quality sound is edifier r1280db is good ? Or presonus Eris e3.5 ? Please suggest me .
Presonus Eris e3.5 is better from Edifier r1280db from the reviews i have seen on the web, but the Presonus Eris e3.5 is better for home studio music production if you want only for movies take the Edifier R1280DB i dont know what price have in India here they have 76 euros difference, Ravi Shankar rocks! 🕉
The R1700BT is a powered speaker. It has its amplifier built inside the right speaker and the left one is passive w/c need to be connected to the right one.
You can but its not a good idea. You really need dedicated studio monitors for that. You need your speaker to be as neutral as possible so that the sound you hear is true.
Hi I just bought these speakers and I can hear a constant static sound that gets very audible as the volume goes above 50% even without any cables connected to the speaker input. Is this normal? Is there any way to eliminate that sound?
I have connected them to my Focusrite audio interface in the balanced output with 1/4 trs jacks and the sound its much better from rca and headphone jack

Звук на тройку, при отсутствии сигнала и на малой громкости слышен отчетливый белый шум. На высокой громкости - полная каша. На средней громкости звук как раз на тройку. Категорически не рекомендую.

It has dac built-in.. also they are bi-amped. meaning it has 4 amplifiers in all. 2 for highs, and 2 for midbass.

I love how to hear that bas is so fast punchy, my own cheap speakers can't deliver that sound. (find the logical flaw...)

about 3 to 4 meters

Actually,aux is for the turntables
Ok... but what is the difference? I mean, is the pc input somehow lower quality?

Are they good for music production?
for that price is good its similar to the Mackie CR but with more features if you making hip hop is good
You might want studio monitor speakers. Check out Yamaha hs7 ,hs5, hs8 that's what the pros use in the studio
Can anyone please tell me exactly what is the name of the connecting speaker cord is called?
What do you want to connect? active speaker with non active?
Do they sound good at lower volumes?
yes they sounding normal
does you connected it an external amplifier.?

Can I mix my track on these pair?

Is this speaker worth buying?
A great value for the price. Just don't expect to be blown away. You won't get that in this price range.

No its not normal, try to connect it in a grounded socket its some problem with the ground, mine working fine
First, no its not normal, and second yes, ask for a refund. You have a defective pair.
