As a trumpet player, one of the most visceral experiences I’ve ever had was being moved by a piece of music like she was, and playing through tears. It’s impossible to explain and even moreso to replicate, but I would give anything to feel again the way I felt during that performance.
I praise God all Mighty that my oldest daughter is still alive after being hit head-on by a drunk driver 3 1/2 weeks ago. She suffered severe nerve damage in her cervical spine that has crippled her. But she is a real trooper and doing what she can day by day. I know God was and still is near her every day, as with all my children. I continue to lift all my friends and family up in prayer.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away -Rev 21:4
Anyone in their mid 50’s knows what this world was before….. God was important and family…. Our world is changing…. And we are losing the wonderful simple life it used to be…church, God, family…….. this song reminds us all of that…. It brings us to tears
