Mary's story is the bridge to all others.
As a human being you will definitely feel hurt when you are hurt especially by someone you genuinely love. The truth is that no matter how hurt you feel you owe yourself the responsibility to Live your life and move on. It's very obvious Mary J Blige chose to Live and move on!

She put her therapy in songs and idk about anyone else...but "My Life" literally saved "My Life"💔💔💔....and I thank her for sharing it with the world..🌎🌎🌎
When my mom was dying of breast cancer. I mourned her death while she was still here. I would go home from spending the day with her and I would go up to the spare bedroom. I would have some liquor with me and I would play Mary J. Blige. All of her album's. Songs from movies soundtracks. Everything she did. But no album has ever done for me what My Life has. I would sit in that room and sing and cry and cry and cry and cry. Sometimes for one hour sometimes for 8 hours. I couldn't leave until I was done for that day. My husband would not bother me no matter how long I took. Many of nights he went to sleep with music banging the entire house because he knew that what I was doing was saving my life. I don't say that lightly. This is my truth. It has been 8 years now that my mom has been gone. Only god knows for sure but I can't say I would be here today if it wasn't for Mary's music. I grew up on Soul music. So it's always been in me. It's like medicine or food or air. The words on her records are me. Not a little or similar...word for word. Her music feeds my soul. And I thank God for that. And I appreciate Mary for that. For me before Mary there was Marvin. And after Marvin there is Mary. God bless

Mary has mastered the art of "Always saying less than necessary". Speaking less adds to her mystique because its never a good idea to make people think they possess you, which also prevents you from appearing too common. When you speak less, you're implementing distance between yourself and your listeners initiating a thought provoking process which causes people to take a more introspective look at themselves to fill in the gaps. They then project whatever their thoughts and feelings are at that time onto your words, in the same way as you just did with your comment. In this way, the conversation becomes two sided leaving listeners with the idea that they partook in some shared visceral experience with the speaker. "Her answers are so raw. WOW, SHE IS THE REALEST!!!!!!!!!!!!! - This is a lesson to anyone who thinks they don't deserve the good in life!!
Not with that blonde hair... nothing real about it.
Mary a goat forreal
something about Ms Mary j Blige, love this black woman.
I agree!!!!
Yes
YEAH I WOULD STILL CLAP TOO.
Yes she always unhappy and miserable 🤦🏽♂️how is that inspirational???
😍😨
She’s the soundtrack of an entire generation. An icon and a legend who deserves to be celebrated NOW while she can feel the love. 💐💐
Ugh Mary always brings me to tears. When she said about talking to her younger self "cause that's you". Uff😭
MJB is the ONLY artist who’s music speaks to my soul, mind and heart , her songs are so real, so heartfelt and I literally can relate to almost every one of her songs 🙌🏽, I will always listen to her music , yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever💯💯#ICON #QueenMJB
Listen…there were two people I was gonna marry when I was in high school: Sade and Mary J. Blige.
She arguably released the best freshman r&b album of all time.
We need to send her all the bouquets while she is here for I understand her greatness, but even I don’t believe I understand it all.
Mary has absolutely no comparison.
And do you see that SKIN! Just as flawless as when What’s the 411 dropped.
Mary, I love you. We love you.
That’s an old interview…🤷🏽♀️
I’m only one minute in and saying this lady is phenomenal. Mary is gorgeous and always has been a fashion icon. Don’t ever get it mistaken it’s Mary J Blige babe!!!! Great interview
I’ll never forget seeing her in concert and she gave us hours of herself, she went way over her time and performed so many hits. Love you for life Mary, your music and voice touches so deeply. A Queen.
Man she has no idea how many people can relate to her story I appreciate her honesty so much. Learning to find peace and love yourself is a never ending journey and it's not always pretty.
The imperfections are what make Mary Jane Blige.. Perfection... There is absolutely no one as transparent as Mary. My favorite singer since 92...give her EVERY SINGLE FLOWER in the world. ❤️
So many of her songs are themes and soundtracks for real life situations. Mary is a great example that being your best self is the ultimate reward.
Look here yall, she have given enough of herself in each and every song.... Let Mary enjoy the power of being Mary J Blige.... flowers for this beautiful black woman.....
Mary has been Mary since day 1. Much love to her and her journey. She has always taken accountability for her actions and worked her ass off to get to where she is today. 🙏🏾❤️
Indeed she is a workaholic and she is deserving of all of her success .
She surely helped me get through my depression, divorce just listening to MJ music 🎶l was about to do something to myself in Germany and her song came on l just started crying out to God. And l kept playing playing it over, over 😒Thanks Mary&God 😊🙏🏾she is truly the Queen...the impact of your music you put into it goes through the People's soul w0w....
The my life album should be inducted into the library of Congress… this album was my mom fav album… she passed away very young but my mom was in love pain for husband, fighting addiction and we used to drive in her drop rabbit singin to the top our lungs!!! I can’t even listen to My life without crying…. That’s the impact of this album… Mary you were not alone with the pain Queen!!! #salute
Mary does not need to do a Verzuz unless it’s her vs. her 😂 there’s no one to compare her to! Completely in her own lane.
This comment right here!!! 🥰
PERIODT!😂💯
Mary is really beautiful. Not just inner, but outer beauty. She has such a pretty face.
A natural beauty...no nose job, no cheek implants, etc.
Exactly 😍
I always thought Mary is pretty
Mary is a legend who should be cerebrated enough...
Big Facts!
I just saw the documentary and I must say I cried like a baby especially when she said I didn't know I was me...my god that touched me deeply.

Y'all could've gave us 2 hours of this conversation..she is just so beloved 🥰🥰
Share my World literally was the soundtrack of my life 97 and 98 forever grateful Mary 👑
Share my World was a great album....my mom ran that album into the ground lol
Same

Mine too... I still listen to it
This the most I’ve heard Envy prepared for an interview. Good for him.
Right he was back to back with questions, good question to
I was shocked & surprised lol
Yesss you can tell Mary is a favorite for him
I believe he brought her the mansion she used to live in there in New Jersey, it’s his family new home.
I personally feel like Envy has dropped the ball on some recent interviews like Devale and Khadeen Ellis…he has a relationship podcast, healthy marriage, nice family and grew up in NY. lots of similarities. He should’ve owned that interview but I guess preparation is key
Happy to see a black woman avoiding bleaching or lightening treatment. She all up in that sun, and it looks gorgeous. Gold and glowing is a good look.
@Mike Johnson , So True I'm Glad she hasn't changed her skin tone
Like most people do in the industry.

Blonde hair 😂😂😂😂😂😂 joking I love Mary let people be who they are.
That hair color is HER COLOR!!😍😍 SO GORGEOUS
I completely agree. Blonde is definitely her signature color. Since the 90's she's been rocking that color.

I remember watching my mom after her divorce singing Mary at the top of her lungs in her room. She was so happy! Seeing my mom that happy was my first introduction to MJB.
Its beautiful to see that people have connected to her music in so many different ways. The good and the bad!
DJ Envy was present on this one and did his homework. Well done Envy.
For once in his career. Lol
Cause He’s in the presence of a LEGEND
It’s bc it’s his era lol
He always show mad love for MjB 💯
I'm surprised after that house he bought from her started that beef between them, I guess she got over it.
Mary J Blige touched the hearts of young women and girls all over the world. She is really big in London. We feel her too.
I can not get over how gorgeous she has remained after all these years. She is so calm and humble and powerful. I just love me some Mary and always will.

You can tell she been healed from the last interview she did on the show in 2017. Good for her. She deserves to be happy.
The “Blonde” hair originator!! 😂😂👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
The best to ever wear it like Sharon Osborne with that deep red
No diggity, No doubt! Not a lot of us can slay with blonde wig/weave like she can.

Respect to the queen for being bolder than most sisters these days and having self accountability regarding her past personality flaws…may god continue to touch her healing spirit
Yes wish black males would have this accountability as well...maybe we'd have more fathers in these homes.
I genuinely love Mary. She’s always be so transparent. She’s gotten me through some hard days! 🗣We Love you Mary!
This Lady is Real royalty! She has been through so much and still standing and sharing her Real soul story and being the Queen that she is. Thank you Mary for Sharing your world and letting us know there is light at the End of the Tunnel!
Mary is such a blessing.... I'm glad she is continually revolving and still growing. Thank you for your transparency.
