I always thought it was a miracle that he lived as old as he did. He didn't die of alcoholism. His liver didn't fail. It was the prayers of his momma and of course Nancy. When George Jone died in 2013. I went through the grieving stages as if he were a close family member. When I was little my grandpa Wright would carry me up stairs to my room. He tucked me in and I asked him to sing. So he played vinyl records at my bedside of George Jones and he would sing along until I fell asleep. George Jones music was very much a part of my every day life. My kids went to sleep listening to George Jones. My two daughters were named after one of his Songs. Scarlett and Rose. I wrote a letter to the George Jones fan club. But never able to get a response. That's been over 35 years ago . When I think of grandpa Wright singing along with George Jones is one of my favorite memories of mine. Thanks for reading. I was hoping someone would listen. But I really hope Nancy reads this.
Nancy had the love of God in her heart like none other of his other wives and she demonstrated it and had the patience of job and she loved God and George and brought out the best in him what a wonderful woman and couple they were for 30 years together RIP possum and bless you Nancy one day you two will reunite ❤
