I love how you portray demons with that filter! The only thing I noticed that was a little wrong was that Noah wasn't in the ark for 40 days, it rained for 40 days and then he had to wait a few months for the land to come back.

I totally get you! Try audiobooks, or find stuff that's interests you like decorating you Bible. Make yourself long to do this and make it a habit, this helps me because I have ADHD, but I'm sure this helps anyone who has difficulty starting to read the Bible ❤️

I would like to point out (if I’m wrong I’m sorry, I’ve never been to a Catholic Church) that Catholicism is kinda different from true Christianity. It has you babtized before you dedicate your life, and you don’t confess to God, but another person. The point of Christianity is faith over works, but it seems in the Catholic Church it’s mainly works. Again if I’m wrong please let me know I have gone to babtists/nondenominational churches my whole life.
@@keilahhall5659 No Catholicism is "True" Christianity. In fact, it is the original form of Christianity and all the other branches come from a split from the Catholic church. They confess to god but believe that god speaks through the priest and that by talking to the priest you are talking to god. Can't disagree with you about the baptism, but there is a sacrament later in your teenage years called Confirmation that is rededicating yourself to God, sorta like a renewing of your vows.
@@LiadanOConnell When I said true Christianity, I meant where faith is the most important part, and you pray and confess to God, not a priest or saints. Thank you for clarifying on baptism and confirmation. Like I said I have never been to a Catholic Church, except on a field trip, and that was just to look at it.

Okay SO on the topic of the Trinity:
Obviously it's a super complicated thing and I certainly don't understand it, but there was a video I watched that said something like "the concept Trinity can't be understood by human reason, it can only be believed through faith" and that really helped me. It's like the idea that God exists outside of time or that He can be everywhere all at the same time: it doesn't make sense, we just have to have faith.
Not me tearing up over your explanation of the spirit. I always saw Him as a dove, but He seems like a kind of guardian angel type deal? The kinda guy you'd wanna get cozy and drink cocoa with and rant about nothing with. Dude is such a bro

So about a year ago at a church not to far from mine there was this Korean exchange student. She didn’t speak any English, but she understood everything that the preacher was saying. She started crying her eyes out and got saved the same day. The End ❤

I once went to a church that was BIG on speaking in tongues, until an old ass man just grabbed my head and started saying some creepy possessed sounding shite. This was during a prayer thing where everyone stood in a circle for like an hour and just spoke in tongues so everyone brushed it off as regular prayer. Everyone was just busy like “ygcdercfdxdfctufcgfcsexgfjvcfdxs” I was literally hyperventilating and shaking bro. Bear in mind I was twelve at the time and have an auditory processing disorder. Eventually i just started screaming and sobbing out of pure fear and ran outside to step in the road ( it’s dramatic i know #bipolardisorder). My parents never took me to that church again.

To anyone who may not know God or only know the stereotypes of Christians:
God's plan for the people who follow him is not hate or judgement (as some of you may have experienced in the past) but it is love and acceptance. God's word is used as a weapon is so many areas in life, but that isn't it's purpose. The bible is God's word, but it is interpreted by humans. Humans are imperfect. When someone uses a verse against you, take the time to read the verse AND the surrounding context. I am 100% sure that the message you will find is one that is not meant to be used for judgement but it is one that is connected to a message of growth and redemption. Maybe you are part of the LGBT community and people throw verses at you to say that your way of life is wrong. Don't just accept that, those people are wrong. In the simplest form God is love, God calls for everyone to love each other. His word is not meant to discourage love, but to spread it. Human's aren't perfect. We misinterpret God's word constantly. The main thing you need to know is that God is love, God loves you, and, no matter what your story is, God wants to use it. I promise that he has a plan, a purpose, and a reason for you. All you have to do is let him tell you what it is.
(This message is not meant to force people towards God, I know that everyone has their own beliefs, but I have heard so many people say that the only version of Christianity they have ever seen is one of hate and judgement. I wanted to take the opportunity to show people another side to it. Also, a friendly reminder that a person does not think of their beliefs as a theory, but as truth. A belief is not an opinion, is is a fact. Asking a person to act against what they believe because you don't agree is like telling a person that they can walk through a cement wall because you don't think its there. When a person makes a choice based on their belief, they do not view it as a choice, but as living life in the right way. Be kind

I do want to say on the last video about speaking in tongues, it says each heard the apostles tell the mighty works in his own language, referring to the Piglatin, Klingon and Portuguese so that they were able to minister to the types of people there. So in today or in the past if the Spirit gifts the gift of tongues which is the lowest gift, it's simply the ability to speak another language that you didn't know before in order to minister the work of God to others. 👍👍👍

Only reason I can remember bible stories for my RE (religion education) class is these videos. If I pass my RE exams due to these videos, I swear I’ll write a whole essay on why these were useful and email it to all my teachers.

In elementary school i got permission from our religion teacher so anytime we had extra time in class, I’d play these videos
love this series! couple little theological things i noticed tho:
-children playing with vipers and such (Isaiah 11:8) is actually gonna be *before* a new heaven and new earth, in the time of peace when satan is bound for a thousand years, aka the millennial kingdom (see Revelation 19-20)
-according to Ephesians 3:17, Colossians 1:27, and Galatians 2:20, it actually is Christ (the Son) in our hearts
-Isaiah 53:2 says Jesus had no “beauty that we should desire him.” so yeah spot on, he was a really ordinary, unassuming guy
Love this series! Just wanted to point out about the old and new wineskins, it doesn't mean you still don't have to fast. Yes, there is a new way to get right with God, but it doesn't mean fasting is irrelevant. Fasting is still important in the body of Christ. It is basically just putting down the flesh physically and instead of eating and feeding the flesh, you would eat of the bread of life and feed your spirit. It is just a way to spend more time with God and really be putting your flesh down. But you were right about everything else, just wanted to clarify that Jesus' death on the cross didn't toss fasting out of the picture (bc he encourages it throughout the scriptures)
