Nice video Martin. Good to see you scratch building by recycling the shampoo bottles. Proves that model railways can be environmentally friendly! This is certainly something that should be encouraged as not everyone can afford expensive kits or 3D printers. Not that I am against either of those!
It looks amazing but a small point. Diesel tanks will not have a filling pipe via the top of the tank. They will be filled and discharged via a connection near the bottom to prevent static discharges/build-up and ease of operation. In general its easier to discharge and fill from the bottom as je don’t need any suction head.
Super video, hobby is now getting better with the technology, but allows you to use your own modelling skills to keep your layout look at the best. Thanks for sharing your skills and ideas. Wonderful 🎉
Martin! You have THE BEST looking fingernails! 🤣 Thanks again for another awesome video. When I sense myself getting lazy with building my layout; I watch your videos and I get inspired all over again. Thanks for the renewed motivation!
Martin, that is a great looking scenic touch to your layout. It will enhance the operational aspect by giving your rolling stock something to do than chasing their tails.
Small details like this add so much more interest to a layout. It was great to see you using budget materials. Not everyone can afford to buy expensive structures these days.
Hey!! Love your tutorials almost as much as your enthusiasm. I’m a relatively new model railroader. You have influenced my approach to modeling. Thank you!!😊
Another great tutorial on structure building, Martin! Lots of good techniques were illustrated. New for me was the using of shampoo bottles for storage tanks. I will now look at similar plastic bottles more carefully before throwing them in the recycle bin. 🙂 Cheers from Wisconsin!
Thanks for another great video, mines starting to move along from an empty shed, to now planning stage, so I’ll be going back through your video tutorials, cheers
Hi Martin! It's looks great. Thank you for sharing. One of my next project is also a sand filling facility and a Diesel ⛽️ station. So your video it's a great inspiration for me. Thank you. Have nice weekend 🌞 Best regards from Germany 🇩🇪 Emma
I enjoy and learn much from your videos, e.g. who would have thought nice looking water could be made from toilet paper? As it happens, I need a diesel fueling and sanding facility BUT in large scale 1:29, modern USA practice. Any suggestions as to how to go about it?
The horizontal fuel barrel you made towards the end looks an exact copy of the Faller 120157 kit that I got for Christmas this year…. Tank supports, pipe layout - everything in fact!
Hi! Most of the manufacturers has similar sets including tanks on concrete sockets. This is probably the most common setup for diesel storage found in Germany during the 60s to 80s. The 120157 is a great kit. I wish you much fun building it! Regards / Martin
@@marklinofsweden thanks. Yes it is now built but sadly i won’t get to my railway again until the Easter holidays. Thanks for your channel though, i have picked up so many great tips about weathering and rock building/painting 👍👍
Hello and greetings from England 😎😇😍 ummm I have a question for you sir and I’m hoping you can answer it for me… I’m building a German WWII railway way tunnel and it’s stone block lined 😳🤪 do you happen to know what size these stone blocks would be please 🤔🤔🤔 I know it’s a long shot but I’m hoping they were a standard size throughout Europe 🙏🙏🙏 any information you may have I’d be extremely grateful for 🙏😇👍 thanks for you wonderful channel, I can tell you all your hard work is definitely worth it 😍😍😍 over the years I’ve learnt an awful lot of modelling skills from you and love watching your “How To’s” so thank you for everything sir 🙏😎😍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Please show us how to build lights for in houses, which Copper wire you are using, are you using any resistors which LED's are you using and where to buy those things.
Great job again thumb up. When looking at Distrilec SMD Led they are so many choices, could you be more precise as to which SMD you are usually using. Thanks
Bra idé att använda gamla shampoo flaskor! :) Har tex. själv byggt ett litet vattentorn och använde mig bland annat av en gammal plastrulle för lödtenn, ett limstift, och en tjock tushpenna :)
Translate to spanish.

Which Printer do you use?
Anycubic M3 PLUS and Mono X2. The first one is my favorite. The Mono X2 is twice as fast though..
Is it possible if you can make me a bridge an ship it to me I’ll pay good money?
Hi! I´m just making videos. I cannot design or produce any parts. Sorry for that!
