Love your content! Thank you for all the tips and guidance. How many linear feet would you say a 5 gallon bucket of paint lasts for parking lots? and what PSI are you using when painting? Thanks!
One gallon can do about 25 parking spots at 4" wide x 18 feet long. So five gallons should do around 100 spots. But always pack extra paint, I have had jobs where I have been surprised how quick my 5 gal went, and other jobs where I've been shocked I didn't have to change paint. PSI should be as low as possible that gets you a good 4" line. Buy tar paper aka roofing paper and lay out 6 feet on the job site, and as part of your start up process put down a 4-5 foot line to get your measurement. If you just spit out 1-2 feet it isn't as accurate.
Hi there. Is there anyway to get the terms and conditions? Would love to know how that should look properly. Thanks. Does the course teach the terms and conditions ?
@@ForeverSelfEmployed thanks! purchased it and course and quoteIQ. good stuff. quick question though. i see another contractors agreement being offered in quoteIQ that says its for all service businesses. is it the same one that i purchased in the striping course? or different? thanks
Contact their corporate number & ask them about becoming a vendor for parking lot services, then tell them you've talked to several locations that would be interested in your services. Worst they can do is say no
Just wondering how much of an inconvenience it is if a vehicle is parked in the stall while the lines are being painted? Why I ask is because I was away on holidays while our lot was being done and was charged $75 more to work around my vehicle for 2 parallel lines. Thanks
no Don't do that nobody does that find out what it cost to run your business every hour every day first And then you'll start knowing what to charge so find out what the job will cost you when you first get the job how much paint will cost how much the striper machine is going to cost if you don't have one already find out what that number is for you to completely finish the job and then just add 25% on top of that for yourself does that make sense?

Thanks Duey
Is there an example T&C's in the "How To Stripe Course"? Or is that something we will just need to find online?
You from Louisiana? If so me too?
824 dollars? How long would a job like that take? Is that directly to paint? No pressure washing or prep?

You can purchase the terms and conditions as an add on to the course.

How the heck do you keep the lines strait. If I walked that machine I definitely won't be in a straight line
It has a wheel lock that keeps it straight
measuring lines is just so complicated to me. why not just give an estimate for the whole lot
Whats the profit margin for striping?
Where in Louisiana are you?
Hes in the baton rouge area
Must be nice to get $1/lf for lines...everyone around our area cries if it aint damn near free
What's the cost of the course?
249 i believe

@foreverselfemployeed when we submit a bid. As owners do we add in hourly rates as if we were hiring ourselves?
