Excellent video, my son picked up a new radio and camera for his Accent and I was like, I need to look that up. And my OCD appreciates the use of good solder with heat shrink. Exactly like I like to do my cables. :)
Just a note to Sedan owners looking to get a reverse lamp power closer to the front of the vehicle. In the light fitting there is a connector that then runs to the lamp itself, from that connector that reverse lamp power may not be orange, for me it's green from the connector to power source but orange from connector to lamp.
I hope you see this and can help me. So I can just not connect the power to the reverse light and it should work? (probably on all the time) but that's what I want since the reverse is not in a comfy place in my kia rio. Thanks in advance

I took footage, but just wasn't satisfied on how the content turned out. I guess i can still post it and preface the video that we don't do a lot of those techniques anymore.
Yes, on when the key is one. Reverse trigger from the smart harness will cycle the radio over to reverse camera automatically to display the image, but since the camera is also connected to accessory wire, you can call upon the camera anytime when not in reverse as well.
