Agreed... the bass player should've used the active 5 string bass so that it could push the cabinets! That's why they sounded nasally instead of thick and crispy... the low B is what drives the woofers
Warwick NeckThrough ThumbBass, M-Pulse 600, PowerHouse 4x10 with 1x15 (roadready) dbx crossover, with a PLX 3002 Pro power amp in stereo mode. EBS MultiComp for live performances = A VERY HAPPY BASS PLAYER! Thank you MesaBoogie!
I have two of the 212 cabs and yeah, it's an insane rig.
That guys voice has more low end than the cab .. :p

the whole video is flawless!! FIVE STARS
To me the 2x12 sounds like it has more everything compared to 4X10, low end reach ,too. It's my favourite of the bunch

I run a pair of Powerhouse 212's, and I couldn't be happier.
The 4X10 just sounds totally killer to me.
Lakland + Mesa 2x12 = GOD's BASS SOUND!
Hey Tien next set of demo's could you folks set up and run at stage volume drums /guitar
accompany thanks
Nice observation!!!!!
I'm actually surprised to hear that the 6X10 sounded so much brighter than the 4X10.
I like the 2x12
I just got a Subway D800 head, which cab will suit better? Thanks!
2x15 is knocking booty.
AS CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL ACOUSTIC CONTROL150, 330,360 450 AS IT GETS
2x15 is quite good also!!
The 6x10 sounds more compressed, the D-string is as loud and fat as the low B-string!
Players do not like the 2X12?
