nice jeff, I'll stick like glue to this new project from Panama
obviously not as sexy as the alfararri but for those of use that like to make stuff (or dream about it one day) still find this kind of build interesting...definitely piqued my interest with potential future rally/motorsport event content as well...definitely curious to see how this frankenstein build will come together though...(hmmm... 🤔perhaps the name should reference frankenstein somehow?)
Ok, never expected such a truck as the next project, but your choice all makes sense. Pretty crazy to put it on the Toyota bus, but again... it all makes sense. Can't wait for this project to start.
Thanks mate. I actually just discovered your channel in the last couple of days myself. Glad to have you following my crazy stuff. Keep up the great work youself.
This will be a panic! 🇨🇦
Well it is a delight to discover that MyMechanics watches Jeff, what a great pairing of dudes.
Good idea! Classic styling, modern mechanics, purposefull and great esthetics!
Super keen to see this one unfold! Love the idea of using the Coaster as the chassis and driveline donor. Could be called the T-600 - 600 from the Ford and T for Toyota (or Toy Hauler); but either way, it'll be a big brute like the T-600 Terminator!
This could be one of your best projects yet Jeff. Bad obsession Motorsport guys had heaps of people keen for their escargot truck before they got busy with life, can’t wait for your version
Was not expecting this, but what a great project. F600 looks on a relatively modern chassis and running gear is what modifying cars (and trucks) is all about. Will be interested to see what "relatively simple and straight forward" actually ends up being based on your prior builds 😂.
I am not here for the type of vehicle I am here for your style of problem solving and your unique and unbiased method of car building. I am looking forward to this as it is a vital part of your fleet!
This is the sort of project i've been waiting for someone to do. everyone concentrates on the sports/race cars, but nobody builds the car carrier. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
They do but the views aren't amazing. Even the guys at bad obsession motorsport have stalled on Thier ford truck.
@@Low760 actually they've stalled on everything :( No Binky vids in forever :( I'm super disappointed in Richard and Nik
@@Low760 I was so interested in that series. Sucks they might have binned it.
Brilliant Jeff. You’re definitely drifting into BOM territory with this one. Only difference is we get annual Binky videos and nothing on their truck conversion for 2 years. Whilst you’re cranking the content out weekly. Looking forward to the project
The Binky project is cool but the lack of vids has made it all a bit meh for me now. I find it interesting they are making at minimum £85K per year from Patreon. I'm surprised people don't cancel their Patreon subs or kick up a stink with the lack of vids - feels very odd/wrong to me! It's a shame someone like Jeff can get that level of Patreon support - he certainly deserves it from the amount of content and work he does.
@@dwhxyzI agree.
I heard was " I don't want a massive restoration project" what I'm presented with is a massive restoration project 😂
Great to see something exciting and different, as a long distance hauler it's got to be a diesel torque monster, just wasn't expecting a donor race inspirited chassis!
It will be an interesting combo for sure :D
Love it Jeff. You never fail to disappoint. Radical project that will definitely keep me watching. Love how you have taken advice from all the other people and channels I watch. The expertise of the elite car building and modification community is indeed very tight and co operative. LOVE IT!
More drive videos please. Track days with the 105!!
I first started watching and subscribed to your channel because of the Alfararri. Your openness with struggles and fearlessness to tackle any task is what keeps me watching all of your vids. It's the journey on each build that keeps me coming back.
I Myself will be watching because of the build process it’s not about the type of engine your fitting but the engineering that goes into it and the sliding floor without hydraulics is intriguing. Look forward to the project.
Jeff, Don't be discouraged about losing viewers. You are straight forward on your builds why you do things and are not afraid to share that you did something wrong or need to change something. I started watching during the Z build (a project I also have) and stuck around on the Alfa because I'm a car guy and enjoy the videos. Keep up the good work, this may bring in a whole new group to watch this build. Have a great Holiday.
I'm in love with this combo and really looking forward to the next 12+ months of this build ❤
I will definitely be watching. It’s all about the engineering and way you engage with the viewers. Keep up the amazing work Jeff
What a fantastic next project Jeff!! really looking forward to it! Do not do projects based on what you think “we” want to see, do the ones you want to do when you want to do them this will keep you passion alive and make the experience for you and for us great! Be yourself! - I love it!
I’m totally IN Jeff
I did think you’d have tackled something “ difficult “ next but you’ve gone for easy 😂😂😂
It’s you and Mrs.Jeff we support and watch, the actual project is just a bonus
Good luck 🏴
Whoa! I was not expecting that but this is going to be *awesome*. I’ve always wanted to see a big project on one of these. Though I think you might be wrong about it being quicker than the Alfararri project! Lotsa work to do
I HOPE it will be quicker, but we will see how crazy I get over the details :D
Wow! What a plan. This should be really interesting to watch. I had a '54 F100 that I was building as a mild custom. Never seen a rhd version. Looking forward to it. Cheers!
whats precious about your work is the degree of detail and perfection you strive for, being a car or a truck is secondary! this phatbus project sounds like another winner from the outset!
This is going to be a cool project!! Looking forward to it. Cheer and Merry Christmas to you and the family.
What a cool project! I love the mix of Australian, Japanese and American. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with this!
Love it! how cool is Jay, love his channel and builds also. I was wondering if you'd be using a skip bin truck hook for the tray, but then you mentioned no hydraulics, well that's going to be interesting indeed.
Been with you every step of the way on the Alferrari… and I can’t wait to see you start the new project mate. Have a great Christmas!! 🎄
Very excited, can't wait to join you and come along for the journey on this build😊😊
Great idea. I'm as excited by this project as any of your others.
I think you'll want more cubes though.
It's a shame f trucks are so expensive here. Running gear from a late model ftruck would be insane.
I agree.
Do think that land cruiser engine will be enough once the extra weight of the truck body and tilting bed is added....
I agree about bigger engine or maybe some Toyota magic
Jeff I will definitely follow you on this exciting project. Merry Xmas and catch you in the new year.
Awesome idea. Can’t wait to follow this one. Merry Christmas
love it , will be a sick project!! keep the patina that will rock :)
Can't believe it's been 4 years, I have little interest in American cars, just dont do it for me, but what a epic project this is going to be, so here's to another 4 years!
I’m here for whatever your building. The F600 will be a great project and I look forward to learning more about that bus chassis.
Driving past your place Jeff, I had a feeling the truck was next on the agenda. The bus however threw me off and never expected you to create another Frankenstein. Looking forward to watching its progress 👍
Love this project. Like many I wasn’t expecting this but hey you don’t get to see something like this too often. Can’t wait to see what you have in store.
Can't wait Jeff. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out! Always enjoy your out of the box thinking and planning.
Fantastic, can’t wait to see progress on this build!!
Love it! Can't wait to see it progress. The chasis swap choice is an awesome match! Has got me thinking of a similar swap now...
Cant wait!!!! Awesome idea Jeff!! Merry Christmas!!!!
Love the diversity of your projects!👍🏻
Looking forward to the build!
Your imagination and fabrication skills always keep me coming back for more. While the Porsche project Harry is what first drew me to your channel your other varied works are equally entertaining. Hey, anyone can buy a car hauler. You make owning one an adventure. Thanks Mr and Mrs Jeff.
Just stumbled onto your page through your condensed Aflararri build..... and now you're building an F series Ford.... two of my favourite vehicles .... subbed!
Great project, looking forward to following you through this next adventure.
Great stuff Jeff.
Looking forward to following this as with all your projects.
Excited to see the creative truck ideas and how it proceeds, hats off to taking a different path!!
What a brilliant concept, really looking forward to see it progress especially the loading tray... I have a couple of trailers, one is a tilt frame and one is pretty low but loading low track cars always involves long bits of wood and as you say is a right pain!
Can't wait to see this project progress Jeff. Especially love seeing old vehicles and machinery being given a new lease of life. Keep up the great work and the great content 👍
Looking forward to the build mate. I initially was only interested in the zed build because you were on AusZcar, but I watched all the 911 build and a bit of the alfa build too. I don't think you will loose viewers just because it is a American ramp truck, the content is still the same, awesome out of the box thinking and building something no one has done before. watching your skills and watching you learning new skills as you go. It doesn't matter what the canvas is, the content is still the same, which is what everyone loves.
Love this concept Jeff, looking forward to it. Best of luck.
That's going to be one cool project! definitely got my excited for a new project to follow for next year!
Looking forward to seeing this Jeff, something that I have wanted to do for a long time as well. Will enjoy the journey ahead with you mate.
+1 on the "excited for this build" column. I think its great the way you go at these projects from unexpected angles. Should be a reliable, useful, and efficient tool added to the arsenal!
Very cool project Jeff, really looking forward to the build! Always enjoy your videos, thanks!
That's an awesome build to come! I for one am excited to see this come to life. A custom vintage hauler is one of those "If I had the time/money" projects for most.
Yesss!!! I've got a 56 GMC 100 on a 1990 Chevy 454ss chasis that I'm in the body work stage of. Can't wait to watch you take on this!
Brilliant plan, looking forward to seeing Jeff’s Sled becoming a reality, reckon you will have a few issues, but that’s part of the fun. Wishing you and the boss a merry Christmas and a happy new year
Brilliant. Big Coaster fan. Rode one to school every day up a twisty mountain road. We had the same bus for 10 years on that school run, possibly longer after i finished school. It’s a very sensible way to build, as parts and knowledge will be freely available wherever you go.
Excited
Great build idea
I look forward to it
Let's get the dust less blasting started and the body work on a roll
Love it 👍🏼 probably going to be a really interesting project and I’d imagine finished to your usual style and standards. Looking forward to following this build
Super cool project, Jeff! The idea behind it makes perfect sense, will be very useful, and once you’re done with the build, I’m sure will be very very cool! Good luck with it all and I will definitely be following along. Keep up the great work
Looks awesome! Good luck and looking forward to seeing your videos. Cheers!
Can't wait to see it done Jeff !!! Amazing project !! Huge fan here !!! Greetings from Brazil !!!
Sure I will follow this build! Lovely choices you've made already!
I'm speechless 😮 How utterly brilliant. This will be 'the' best build on YT. Its more exciting than Xmas😂
You are the guy whom I respect the most. You are multitalented. People who are watching your videos have no idea how difficult it is to do what you are doing. You make it look easy but each skill you have takes years to learn. You have a real career and you create beautiful cars for the people to see.
People sit in offices, going from meeting to meeting, pushing papers around and they talk about their careers. They achieve nothing in life. They are just living in an illusion.
You have a real career.
I wish I was in NSW and met you and helped you for free, but unfortunately I live in Brisbane.
The mix and match is what I come here for and with this one you knocked it out of the park!!!!
I love this project and it will be awesome watching your engineering and problem solving skills sort this one out ..watching you at work is whats cool jeff
Watched lots of these old truck builds and this sounds like a great one. Have one myself as a 68 F100 so can’t wait. Love the diversity you bring to the channel mate.
Always so much to enjoy, learn from, and admire in your projects, Jeff. Count me in. Looking forward to “Fun-truckin’ Facts from Mrs Jeff”
Jeff, it is your enthusiasm that will always keep me glued to your channel. I'm always curious how you manage to solve certain problems successfully. Keep up the good work, you won't be losing me.
Just found you and this new project sounds awesome. Im not a car guy. I just really like seeing talented people with exceptional skills and vision create amazing things. Looking forward to you build.
Salut Jeff, tous tes projets sont intéressants à suivre. Ton savoir-faire et ton enthousiasme me donnent envie de suivre tes projets quels qu’ils soient. 👍👍👍
Wow! Awesome mate, can't wait to see it in the making 👌🏼😎
Excellent ! can't wait to see the work on this one !
Awesome project Jeff. If anything it will broaden your audience. Looking forward to seeing this project. Nice, a bit of variety to RUclips as well.
Love it. What a great project, the bus platform is inspired - was thinking a Ramp Truck would be much simpler… or take inspiration from something like Mercedes used in the 50’s to move their GP cars back to the factory. Will enjoy following this build as well (been here since early 911)
Very cool Jeff. I work as a designer at the company that originally made that truck and have seen some great resto-mods of the f100 and variants at SEMA and locally in Michigan. Can't wait to see it!
OMG this project is going to be awesome, i LOVE these trucks! Nice one Jeff! I bet you get this finished before the next BOM Escargot episode comes out!
will definitely be following! This project looks awesome!
Can't wait to see how this turns out! I love the concept, and I'm looking forward to see how you plan to make the bed.
If you need some visual inspiration, one of the best truck based hot rods I know of is Frode Engelund's 1954 Opel Blitz.
Looking forward to this build Jeff. Good luck.
That sounds great. If this is the trailer for what’s coming next year, then I am already hooked. All the best 👍
What a fantastic idea, Can't wait to see the build.
YES! Love it. Can't wait. Glad you went with something a bit different.
This next project looks awesome!!! Very excited to see the progress.
This looks amazing. Can’t wait to see this come together as I have been wanting to do something similar for years but never thought of the possibility of a Coaster bus
Really looking forward to that project! That is really a great one, and that is also truly original. Brilliant!
Great idea! Looking forward to this build.
Great to see Jeff. Cool concept of design and keen to see what you do.
Great thought. I will follow this build for sure
Jeff, I can't wait to see the build videos for the truck, this is gonna be very cool!
Love it! Can’t wait to see it unfold mate!
Loved all your cars and will be looking forward to this build. I’m so pleased you build these to use and not flip.
Sounds like a great project! Looking forward to seeing the progress.
Too cool! Can't wait to see the tilt bed work!
Amazing project!!! Really original. Good luck with it
I like it ! Being a proud owner/builder of a 1960 Ford F100 panel van, I can appreciate your igenuity in search of a personalized/functional ride for your hauling needs. My truck ended up being lighter than a mid 90's Ford ranger pickup, so I abandoned the idea of a big v8 under the hood and used the drivetrain (2.3 litre 4 cylinder/5 spd) from my Ford Aerostar van which was being replaced by the F 100. Because I no longer required the ECU and fuel injection/emissions systems, things got simplified considerably, and now it's a good running, reliable truck that's easy to work on and diagnose.
I look forward to watching your truck journey (s).
Im gonna have to follow You along on this project. Wooaw...! At first i thought that the old truck was som kind of a nightmare. But it made a lot more sense when You explained the Toyota bus idea.. Im really looking forward to this build👍
Can't wait, Jeff.. look forward to the updates.
happy Xmas Jeff, can't wait to see you get stuck into this build, the bus is an inspired idea and should be ideal- think you're being a bit optimistic on the time line but that's just a win for us giving more great content
Yep! You've got me on board! I want to see the tray you have planned for it. Very curious to see how that is done.
We had one of those Coasters that was turned into a motorhome. The HZ1 engine is really reliable, but glad to hear you are turboing it because ours was gutless (even though it had been through a whole top end refurb)….and that was with drastically reduced weight to change it to car licence. Hopefully the turbo will be a big boost. Will I stay for the ride on this one…hell yeah!
