Fabulous. I remember first seeing a pic of Gary Lockwood in the command bay in Popular Mechanics. It was a couple pages about the film months before it's release. I was immediatelt fascinated. All those padded surfaces...
Te pasaste, capo. ¿De dónde obtuviste los planos de las ubicaciones? ¿O es una reconstrucción que hiciste basada en la película? Es verdaderamente un gran trabajo. ¡Felicitaciones!
Great job! I appreciate you added the centrifuge passage as this is often forgotten in other displays/tours of the Discovery interior online. I'd love to see the entire ship interior at some point. Add a little of the Gayne Ballet Suite (adagio) music for ambiance and it'd be amazing. :)
Can I recommend posting a link to this video on 2001 a Space Odyssey Master model builders site ? It ties in nicely with some ongoing CAD rendering posts, and questions.
Fabulous. Wow. I'm in the Discovery. Hmmmm. Where'd everybody go? "Well, the place looks deserted. I guess we'd better get outta here." ... said Jeremy the crow.
one mistake: where you labelled "Atomic Engine controls" in the centrifuge, look at the keyboard...it's a piano keyboard. it was a scene that was apparently deleted from the final; of Bowman playing music on an electric piano.
Kubrick is very meticulous on detail, and this film is a good example. However I must say it seems in the discussion within the POD that the two astronauts are within artificial gravity...when that section of Discovery is without it.
My friend! Please get back to me. I have a small development team creating a game and we would love to get in contact with you in regards to this ship.
Great tour of the Discovery.
Very cool! The sound effects completed the illusion of actually being there.
Excelente trabajo! Felicitaciones.

Lovely work, great details. Can imagine it must feel great with a VR set.

Beautiful. Wish we could have seen the bridge. 🙂
March 2023 - "WOW!!" I don't know how you did it. Or how long it took. But EXCELLENT results!! Thank you!
In the film, Peter Whitehead was renamed Jack Kimball.
Fabulous. You ever notice that the Space Station hasn't got room for the Aries 1b to arrive or exit from?
¡Increíble! Espectacular trabajo. De lo mejor que he visto.
Gracias.

Love it!
素晴らしいモデリング!!
I would liked to see an x-ray image of the AE-35 unit.

Amazing 😍 i hope to see lots more of these types of simulations in the future
Awesome! I couldn't help but wonder what Kubrick would say if he saw this.

They could have the gravity boots on. Or just strap into the seatbelt.
