How do you adjust shapes in Lucidchart?

Nicole Dyer shares tips for adjusting shapes and lines in Lucidchart. A Research Like a Pro study group member asked how to adjust boxes and delete extraneous lines in her descendancy diagram of DNA matches made in Lucidchart. Being able to zoom in and out, select lines and boxes, use the blue handles to resize and the red nodes to draw lines can make drawing descendancy diagrams much easier. Also learn how to select all lines, select all shapes, change lines to dotted lines, and remove the outline from boxes. Descendancy diagrams are a key part of incorporating DNA evidence into genealogical research. Whether you're using Lucidchart, Diagrams.net, Scapple, Google Draw, or SmartArt within Powerpoint and Word, it's helpful to be able to visualize your DNA matches' descent from the common ancestral couple.
