  • In this video I show how to repair a common problem with Mira showers that also affects some model Tritons too.
    The part in question is a solenoid valve. Easy to replace and cheap too.
    This repair should only be performed by qualified service personnel as it carries a huge risk of a fire hazard, risk of electric shock or even electrocution.

    Note to self; Do not buy a Mira shower, what a rigmarole. Most Triton showers you can just pull the solenoid out in-situ without taking it off the wall. Mira need to seriously improve their design.

      Definitely! From a servicing point of view, it's a nightmare. I guess they have a covert agreement with plumbers to keep the money rolling in, in return for bigging up Mira 😂. The only reason I bought a Mira is because it looked fancy! 😂
